Oh my gosh. My poor LO was totally over stimulated today too. I've decided I'm not a fan of holidays now. He has been cluster feeding since we got home.
Mine ate for 20 minutes straight. No un latching guzzling the whole time. We did a bath and I tried nursing him again and he just passed right out. He slept for 4 hours in the car though so not sure how tonight will go
Sometimes I hate breastfeeding. Today, I looked down at my shirt and my entire right half was wet. Leaked through my breast pad and my bra and most of my shirt.

I know what you mean about hating breastfeeding sometimes. Just when I'm finally able to get rid of daily panty liners, I have to deal with breast pads. It is so annoying. I want my body back to myself.
Alright ladies, question for you. Are the redemption codes on huggies and pampers worth my time? They say you get rewards but, I feel like it's not going to be worth it. Anyone redeeming these?

That is what really sucks about seeing so many people at once. A lot of people don't understand that babies can get overstimulated and they are crying because it's too much attention!

Last night LO kept coughing/choking randomly in his sleep. I'm suspicious of reflux because he also arches his Back a ton and cries like 20 min after a feeding. But could this be teething?? Clueless ftm over here. He's been bubbling/spitting up a ton.
Bah my baby has regressed in the 'being OK with not being held' department. She was getting great at taking a morning nap in her swing and I could get stuff done like exercise, eat, shower and clean dome dishes but this is gone GONE I tell you! Now she screams in under 5 minutes no matter how awake she is when I put her down. I pick her up boom asleep. I am not happy with this. Not happy at all.
I read that this happens around 8 weeks in that wonder weeks book.
Ds pooped through a onesie this morning at my parents. I put it in a plastic bag but I can't find it so I either threw it out accidentally or someone is going to get a not so happy surprise
It needs to be 10:30 I need to be at the pedi right now. I know he's probably fine but I just need to be reassured. He's only sleeping for an hour at a time and it's killing me. I don't know what's gonna happen when he gets his shots tomorrow. My mom's probably going to come over to help me I don't want a break but I need one.
LO seems to only have infrequent but massive pooing sessions the past couple days. He only pooped 2 diapers per day, but each time was a horrible clean up job for me. The diapers were so saturated that blowouts were ensured. This morning it was so bad that it took a dozen wipes to get him clean enough to move him to the bath. That diaper was just changed 10mins ago!

Yeah I looked up the chart when she started acting clingy, she just hit 10wks.i figure it is some kind of growth milestones, but I have stuff I need to get done

Not sure if it's really worth it yet, but I've been entering the Pampers codes. I like that they have a text in option, which makes it easier, though it doesn't seem to work for wipes. I feel like it will take a while to get something worthwhile, but it's been minimal effort submitting them at this point, so I'll keep doing it.

DS just went 5 hours between feedings. That's happened twice this week. I really hope this is going to become a norm for him. This is way better than his usual 2hours.

I do but not sure if it's worth it yet. I "won" a free pack in one of those games but idk still

I think if you are truly brand loyal and consistent you can get some value out of it but if you aren't brand loyal it doesn't equate to much. Pampers has an app for entering the codes so it doesn't take much effort for me. I had to create an account on the computer the it was just a matter of logging in out the app.

I did it but then looked at the rewards and they weren't worth it to me. There wasn't anything I wanted to strive to get so I keep the codes but haven't put them in in a while. Maybe check the rewards on the site to see if you like anything they offer.

Same here. I have been gradually adding in more formula feeds and for the past few days he has had a massive poo a day. I'm guessing he's adjusting to the new food but not sure.

I believe that is normal. They start to only poop a couple times a day instead of every time that they fart. LO will sometimes poop without farting. They used to be my cue to change his diaper. Now, it's the smell test.
I got ten (broken up) hours of sleep last night, the dishwasher is going, the laundry is drying, my kitchen and bathroom are clean, I had lunch and took a shower, and the baby is napping. It's not even 12:30. This is a very strange day.
I was just thinking that maybe this week we ask a grandma to babysit so H and I can go...
Absolutely do it!
We live half a mile from the movie theatre. I've been trying to decide if I could get a grandma or aunt to come to my house to babysit. I could nurse, show up at the theatre right when the movie starts, and be home in time to nurse again...right?
Or maybe this movie will be my motivation to open my breast pump haha.
Parent-baby showings are where it's at. Surprising number of cinemas do it early in the day.
I'm debating whether I'm a nice enough wife to fold DH's laundry for him. If I had done the laundry, I definitely would have but he threw a load in and the clean clothes are just hanging out in his laundry basket (where they've been for a week). It's driving me a little crazy.

I'm pretty sure I could wear DS into the movie and he'd sleep through it; I'm just worried about his little ear drums with all that noise. Is that weird? Are parent-baby showings at a lower volume?
