I was dead set on Claire for a girl, I LOVE it. Of course, it's a boy. I love Claire Elaine!
Claire Elaine is my top choice by far, but Kate is the only name DH and I both like. So I will call dibs if we change our mind at birth still crossing my fingers that Claire will grow on him!
My naming views aren't popular but the only problem I have with Lark is the saved by the bell actress Lark Voorhees. Poor thing had a lot of personal issues after that show so now the name is tainted for me. Otherwise, I don't see anything wrong with it.
That's exactly what I think about when I hear the name Lark as well!

I love seeing everyone's name choices! And it's also reassuring to see that I'm not the only one who hasn't landed on one. We've been narrowed down to two names for a couple of months now, as I've mentioned randomly on other threads, and are just recently starting to lean toward one.
Connor (my favorite) Micah
I'm a little concerned that Connor is getting popular. We're also having a hard time with MNs for either one. Our last name is two syllables, so I'd prefer to find a MN with either one or three+ syllables. Connor Anthony is a recent favorite. Suggestions are welcome!
We're pretty sure we're going with Mabel Marilyn. I don't love the flow, but Marilyn was my grandmothers name and I've always used to use it as my daughters MN. I'm okay with not being the mom who yells their kids first and middle name when they're mad.
As for Mabel...I know, it's old school, but I've always loved it. We're bring it back (along with Bruce Willis).
I'm all about the old lady names! I thought when I was growing up in the era of Jennifer and Kimberly that my poor kids would be doomed to be the weirdos. But now those names are coming back in style and I worried that they're too popular (before we found out it is a boy).
mpiemont I like Callie, though I'm biased cause that's what our LO will be.
Kallie Jean. I didn't necessarily want to change it to a K name, and hopefully I don't get scolded too much for it, but it's what my DH wanted. He's Karl so he wanted her to be K too. Since I basically picked out the name, I let him have the K.
Baby boy will be Emmett. We haven't decided on a middle name yet. Something to honor my family though since DS#1's middle name is after FIL and both of DH's grandfathers.
We have no idea what we are naming this one. We don't really even have potential names. I liked Evangeline for awhile but I think I'm over it. DD1 is going to call it Violet regardless of what we name it. She's the only one really showing motivation to name it, maybe we'll just let her.
Don't really have a name, but I know I need a girl name. I want to use a family name, but am so stumped. So far my front runner is Rosalind Marie. I figured nn could be Rosie, Rose, or Roz.
I also had Nia Simone, but am not liking it as much anymore. Other family names on my list are Evelyn, Katherine/Kate, Eva, Stella, and Clara in no particular order of importance. I also like Estelle (not family related), but only as a potential mn.
We are Team Green, and have not narrowed down our lists at all. For me, top girl names are Isobel, Hazel, and Shelby her mn is for sure is Louise. For a boy my top names are Dylan, Dexter, and Griffin. His mn will be Carl.
I have a name that's so ridiculously "popular" that I don't like to share. But I have never met anyone with the name and it's not very popular in the Hispanic community. Olivia will be her name and we are still debating on middle names.

This is true. My Olivia is the only baby Latina we know of with the name.

when I told my mom she was like from popeye? I almost snapped. Damn hormones.

That's hilarious! Our families tried to add -ana to the end of her name to make it "Spanish". Weirdos. So they at first said "Oh Olivia, como Oliviana." I'm like "No! Just Olivia!". DH keeps saying they will do it with Vivian too *insert annoyed eye roll here*. Both can easily be said with a Spanish accent so I don't get it.
He will almost certainly be Spencer James. Unless when we meet him it doesn't fit, then we have back ups. Alternatives are either Zachary John or Jonathan Ray. All include a family name in them somewhere.
