He will almost certainly be Spencer James. Unless when we meet him it doesn't fit, then we have back ups. Alternatives are either Zachary John or Jonathan Ray. All include a family name in them somewhere.
when I told my mom she was like from popeye? I almost snapped. Damn hormones.
That's hilarious! Our families tried to add -ana to the end of her name to make it "Spanish". Weirdos. So they at first said "Oh Olivia, como Oliviana." I'm like "No! Just Olivia!". DH keeps saying they will do it with Vivian too *insert annoyed eye roll here*. Both can easily be said with a Spanish accent so I don't get it.
DS2 is Zachary and they call him Zacarias. DS1 is Alejandro.
Love and jealous! This has been in my top girl names for years and before we found out we were having a boy SO nixed it. So sad.
How will you be pronouncing it?
After much discussion, we decided on the spanish pronunciation (loo-SEE-uh), with nn Luz or Lucy. It's the only name my husband and I have ever 100% agreed on.

We have definitely not decided officially. The names we have been tossing around so far are Annabel Grace or Anastasia Grace. However the more I hear them the less I like them. I think its the nn Anna that I am not loving.
mpiemont I like Callie, though I'm biased cause that's what our LO will be.
Kallie Jean. I didn't necessarily want to change it to a K name, and hopefully I don't get scolded too much for it, but it's what my DH wanted. He's Karl so he wanted her to be K too. Since I basically picked out the name, I let him have the K.
We started calling her Rose and it looks like it's sticking. My family seems to like it, as they are already calling her that even though I said it was just one name on our list. She still might come out and be a Cora or Teresa, though.
No idea for middle names.. Rose is tough to pair with when it's not the MN.
I think something long pairs with Rose like Rose Evangeline or Rose Coraline

We have no idea what we are naming this one. We don't really even have potential names. I liked Evangeline for awhile but I think I'm over it. DD1 is going to call it Violet regardless of what we name it. She's the only one really showing motivation to name it, maybe we'll just let her.
I have a name that's so ridiculously "popular" that I don't like to share. But I have never met anyone with the name and it's not very popular in the Hispanic community. Olivia will be her name and we are still debating on middle names.
I like it! My new little niece is named Olivia and she is Hispanic too.
I LOVE Everett! It's my grandfather's middle name who just passed away and my brother's as well. If this LO would have been a boy, he would have been an Everett as well!

We are going with Reed Andrew... There were absolutely no names I was in love with so I let DH have the reigns in naming this one. He was in love with the Reed, so that's what we're going with. I'm not in love with the spelling but I'm ok with it since it's at least a real name. Mn is Andrew after my grandfather.
Athena is my mom's name and she was disappointed when her first two granddaughters weren't given the Greek tradition of carrying her name (not both of them, obv, but at least one of them). I figured it is the least I can do for her, since she does so much for us. Plus, it's a pretty cool name.
This is weird for us to be set on a name so early, both ODS and YDS weren't name until at least 32-33 weeks.
DS - Alexander, b. 10/22/08, our 'went to hell and back IVF Miracle' DS - Andrew, b. 9/15/11, our 'holy shit we have a bed baby' baby DD - Adrianna, b. 5/8/15, our 'lightening strikes twice' baby

Talk to me about the name colette.... i dont know how I feel. It's older and pretty. Heard it passing today. It's not very little girl but would grow nicely I think. What are your thoughts?
