I've been MIA. Grocery day and I made lactation cookies. But my sister is babysitting tonight for her husbands niece-it's the nieces 21st birthday and she drops the baby off with my sister. My sister asked of she had any sort of crib and the girl says " no he sleeps in his car seat all night" I'm so judgey right now. They smoke in the house too, my sister had to wash everything and give the baby a bath. I feel so bad for this baby...

I'm totally judgey over here. I guess we don't know her situation but isn't it bad for him to sleep in a car seat?

I do know her situation, both her and baby daddy are not fit to be parents. And yes it's bad for them to sleep in the car seat. I saw her at our Christmas gathering and she was breastfeeding at one point but her supply dropped because baby daddy got into a car accident because he was high and drunk so she was staying at the hospital with him while baby stayed with great-grandma. Anyways at Christmas he was hungry, she was trying To feed him but he wasn't happy so I offered her some formula, she tells me that she usually waters down the formula. Wat?

Enjoying my day with my loves, just popping in to say hi! Did some shopping at Sephora and got some new work clothes (that I actually feel pretty in) and had lunch. We're hanging out at home now, then meeting family for a birthday dinner later!
Sounds like an awesome day! Yay for clothes that Make you feel pretty.

That whole situation is sad. They are probably trying to make the formula last longer. But at least the baby has parents who love him, I guess.
Guise, my guts. I think they have turned against me. All I hear is grumble, grumble, grumble, churn, churn, churn. The stomach flu blows.
Are you able to keep anything down?
Yeah -- I've had a banana, some toast, and a little bit of soup. I've also been drinking a smoothie. I just don't have much of an appetite and can only stomach a little at a time.

She has assistance for formula, she just doesn't know what she's doing. They appear to love him but a head on collision while you are high and drunk? What if baby had been in the car... I guess she angers me. She smoked while pregnant too...
Ugh famous they sound horrible, poor baby. DH is gone for the night, I'm nervous but I've already baked a cake and baby just fell asleep. Wine and dvr?

Hugs for all those dealing with the PP body issues (Probably most of us!). It sucks that it takes so long to get to "normal". Wait... We go back to normal right?!?
Thanks everyone who gave me encouraging words after my FFFC yesterday. I'm feeling much better today after DH watched DS for a few hours and I got out for some "me" time. I found a good quote about wonder weeks which said something like "My baby isn't giving me a hard time, my baby is having a hard time." It's cheesy but it put the wonder week in perspective for me, and just getting out my feelings helped.
Currently drinking a beer while DH and his cohort buddy from his MA program watch British comedy. His cohort buddy was born in 1991. I know I am only 5 years older than him, but '91 just sounds SO young.
