theresat858 Were you asking about the menu board for meal planning? If so, here's a couple examples. Ours looks a lot like this one, except with clothes pins.
Or you could do something like this so you could use dry erase markers.
Ours was a gift but it's a pretty simple DIY project. It's really helped us with our meal planning and it makes a nice kitchen decoration too!
I like the first one with the menu cards better because you can have your list of ingredients on the back which will help your weekly shopping. As your collection of menu cards grow, you can just pull out 7 each week and you won't ever have to think about it again!
sabby2 and keely2 (and anyone I missed) - Hope you feel better!
spurp13 - we just moved to size 2 diapers. I was irrationally sad about it. size 2. sounds so grown up.
TP to all the dh's and bf's that need them.
saragw - I totally get how you feel. I hate my pp body. I wasn't in shape before I got pregnant, which doesn't help. Most days, I'm able to be okay with where I'm at, even though I have a long way to go to get to where I want to be. I look at my dd and tell myself it's all worth it. But yesterday a random person poked my belly and said "oooo, there's a baby in there!". Um, fuck you. No there is not. After my initial desire to TP them repeatedly, then TP them again for good measure, I just felt like crap. Thanks for the reminder that I'm still up 15 pounds from by pre pregnancy weight (which was 20+ pounds from where I wanted to be). Of course it makes me want to drown my sorrow in brownies and wine. As mrsbabe614 said postpartum bodies are a mindfuck.
I made a dairy free shrimp 'alfredo' tonight with cauliflower. It was surprisingly delicious. The rest of the day was spent studying and taking an exam. I am so ready to be done with school. I'm currently finishing up a rotation in ob/gyn. I got to be a part of two babies being born yesterday. This does not help with my baby fever.

My rainbow arrived 10/15/14.
5 cycles of "TTC" - 3 intentional, 2 not so intentional. 5 BFPs.
TFMC 08.02.13 at 19+ weeks. Everyday I grieve for my little Olive.
Is anyone else's kid suddenly "talking" nonstop? She has so much to say now!
Yes! DD also has different tones. Sometimes her babbling is excited and sometimes serious. She "yelled" at the nurse after he gave her shots. I'm pretty sure she told him where he can stick those next time.
Yes! E has moved on from babbling to pterodactyl screeching as high pitched as possible.

My sister is doing her clinic work in speech path, and she says this is when babies begin to experiment with tone and volume, and they'll mimic yours as the practice and learn.

We unsuccessfully tried to have a booze and board game night with another couple. DS went down at 9 but cried 5 times between 10 and 11. Never woke up, just cried. What is that??
I've been MIA. Grocery day and I made lactation cookies. But my sister is babysitting tonight for her husbands niece-it's the nieces 21st birthday and she drops the baby off with my sister. My sister asked of she had any sort of crib and the girl says " no he sleeps in his car seat all night" I'm so judgey right now. They smoke in the house too, my sister had to wash everything and give the baby a bath. I feel so bad for this baby...
OH. MY. GOD. I cannot with this. It makes me think of this boy from when I used to work at the daycare. He was being fostered to adopt by his aunt and her husband. The little boy's parents were drug addicts and who knows what else.
He started coming to the daycare at 9 months and had basically spent those first months of his life in his carseat. The back of his head was so flat and he hadn't reached any of his developmental milestones. He was basically a newborn in a 9mo body. He couldn't roll or sit and had no voice. He was so quiet and sad looking. Probably because of all the times he screamed and screamed in his car seat and nobody ever came to help him. (This could be the basic stem of my stance on CIO but, that's another topic, entirely).
I'm tearing up remembering that sad boy. By the time he moved into the 1's room, he could roll and had started to babble and find his voice. By a year and a half, he was almost walking and by the time he moved into the 2's, he was running and talking and getting into all sorts of mischief with HUGE personality. It was an amazing transformation and it was so awesome to see.
This was a long story but, it's an important one. I'm hoping so hard that that is the only time that poor babe spends in the car seat other than in the car. That's such a long time to be restrained. All the sads now.
Oh this girl also says she won't vaccinate her kid. She's not putting any poison into him.
WHAT DOES SHE THINK ALL THAT SECOND HAND SMOKE IS DOING TO HIS LITTLE LUNGS?! Definitely not filling them with kittens and rainbows. I never use the C-word but, I almost just typed it.

It is seriously the coolest thing to watch her learn. Totally gonna play copycat tomorrow and see if she does what I do.

Yes! This is the best explanation of what B did at dinner tonight. Thank goodness we were at a family friendly Mexican restaurant and he had a smile going on.

I sell menu printable things in my etsy. If anyone wants the files I'll send em for free...or make your color or whatever.
Is doing an etsy profitable? Or is it more like a hobby?
I'd love a link to your etsy, btw
For me it's a hobby. I just put up things I design for myself or others as printable things and get paid for shit I did a long time ago. I don't put much into it.
I'm on my phone and lazy but the name on etsy is PawprintStudio. It's also in my fb info I think.
