I just finished up spin and grocery shopping with the little guy. When I got to the gym my bike was decorated with blue and brown balloons and there was a blue onesie that said "Mommy's little cycling star". It was so sweet. I almost cried.

A frenemy just posted she's getting newborn pictures done ... With our photographer. I know imitation is the finest form of flattery. But I don't care. I'm irrationally annoyed. I don't want to share with her.
I will never own a minivan or an SUV. And that is one reason we will not have more than 2 kids. My husband drives a Mini Cooper. We've never tried to put car seats in that car. We just switch cars if he has to take them anywhere (which he has done probably once since they were born).
My husband is out of town so the ILs are "helping" me. They're great and all, but 9 days alone with them is too much. Two days down, 7 to go.
I just changed Hannah into a super cute outfit after lunch. I put her in her crib for her afternoon nap and she was fussing longer than normal so I went to check on her. She pooped, and of course she had her first blowout in forever. When I was taking her shirt of I got poop in her hair. Soo gross. So now she's fresh, clean and in new clothes. What do you bet she doesn't want to take a nap

Even if we have a fourth I refuse to go the minivan route! I love my honda pilot, and it has a third row!
@mx2 I'm really jealous. I really want a new vacuum and dh keeps insisting our old crappy one works fine!!!
Dh worked this morning so I made the boys blueberry muffins for breakfast and did day 22 of bbm. We went and did all our grocery shopping went dh got home do we don't have to worry about it tomorrow and now I'm going to take a nap!!
We're ordering in pizza tonight and we rented Annabelle. I love horror movies and dh hates them, so I'm excited and he's not!! I also need to make the bacon cheddar ranch dip I'm taking to the superbowl party at some point tonight.
@kama I need a flex review. I have a small suv and it works but our next new car is MINE!
It's amazing. We have a Limited and it has a refrigerator/freezer. Also is pretty high up. It has setting for seating for you/yh, heated seats in front and the other two rows. Tons of leg room. Basically stow and go seating.
Pete loves the station wagon. He's wanted one forever. I don't get it. We would never have a minivan. Neither of us are car people at all. We'd super practical (boring) about these things.
A slept 13 hours last night for the first time ever. I had no idea he was capable of such a feat.
We did a Costco run this morning, and of course it was a zoo even though we got there right when they opened. A took a 40 minute nap and now he's flopping around trying to get comfortable enough to get back to sleep. I'm not optimistic.
FFSC I always snicker when I have friends that buy a huge new car because they have a baby. Babies don't need much room. We have done just fine in my Civic, and even driven it for trips. The car seat and a our bags fit fine. If you want a car because you just want a new car, whatever, but don't try to convince me you need a big new car because you had a baby.

Eh. I didn't have a car prior to the boy so I wasn't someone who ran out and got a bigger car, I got a bigger car because I needed a car. I can understand it though. Adding in the carseat, stroller, diaper bag does take up a lot of room. We drive two hours away to my parents a lot. Add in the dogs and our luggage, we would never be able to do that in my H's small sedan. I think in some situations, a new baby warrants a bigger car.

I guess if you have dogs you drive around a lot, I can see that. We have chihuahuas and Sinny and they're small enough that they like to sit on our laps.
We were fine in our mid sized suv (and even in the accord we have) with just Josie, but with two under two ( at least for the one month), we need more room.

I never knew you had dogs, too. How do they get along with Sinny and A?
Guster It's kind of a weird arrangement. They're technically the IL's dogs but they keep them outside and just don't care for them the way we think they should. They had 4. One ran away and was not recovered so now they are down to 3. We bring them to our house for overnight stays so they get some socialization. They're really sweet. Sinny loves the dogs, and they're kind of ambivalent about him. A adores the dogs, too, and they like him. I think I have a pic of A giving one a ride in his Cozy Coupe.
They like to chase him around the yard when we're at the IL's house.
I met finnaroo at Universal today! We sat on a patio, drank beers, and dodged pigeons. It was magical.
Also, Harry Potter world is the shit and my LO is doing great on Tamiflu.
My boobs are missing him though. I'm not sure I'm doing this right. I keep hand expressing until the hard knots are out. Should I refrain from that even? I am getting cabbage leaves tonight and drinking lots of peppermint tea
DH wants to go one of those automatic robot vacuums. Does anyone have one? We have a lab that sheds a lot. I'm wishing I put a central vac system in when we just did the house.
In other news, my 4 year old announced her engagement at dinner the other night. Then today she asked me if I can babysit her babies for a week even over night because her man said he is taking her to the beach in Mexico.
She also asked what do you do if you get a baby in your belly and you didn't want it there and if I can drive her around when she's a mommy if she fails the driving test.
