3) if you found out did you have any disappointment? I truly didn't care either way, but I knew DH wanted a boy more. So I was really happy it was a boy for him.
4) what's your name strategy? We were pretty set on both girl and boy names right from the beginning. We finally agreed on spelling Colin the traditional way with one L.
5) any AWs/comments/questions? Apparently our little guy is quite active, and it's so weird to think he is moving that much inside of me without me feeling anything. I know in time I'll start to feel him.
@nitrcheese I shop in both the boy and girl sections for my DD. I want her to wear a variety of colors, not just pink. And since my DD has blue eyes, I love dressing her in blue since her eyes then pop!
@orgamimommy thinking of you today as you await your results.
Thank you! I got them at the last minute yesterday and all is well! It's Obviously not a diagnosis but great news nonetheless. I go back for another level 2 ultrasound just to check on him in about 3 weeks and we'll go from there!! Thank you for thinking of me!
3) If you found out, did you have any sex disappointment? (This is a "safe space" it's totally normal to feel a range of emotions when it comes to joining a team) I was really shocked at first when I found out (at our elective scan about a month ago), but I am super happy.
4) What's your name strategy? Do you have a name set in stone? Taking a couple to the hospital? Not ready to pick yet? Yeah, we've had a name set in stone for a while.
4) If you aren't finding out, what's your name strategy? Do you have one of each set in stone? Taking a few to the hospital? Not ready to pick yet? N/A
5) Any AWs/comments/questions? This was such a fast A/S. It really took me by surprise when she said we were done. I remember mine with DS taking over an hour. I saw the OB about 40 minutes after the ultrasound and she said everything looked great!
Share a U/S picture if you please. This is my only vent. The tech tried for approximately 20 seconds to get a good profile shot and then said baby was too active to get a good one. We had only been in there for approximately 12 minutes by that time. Do you think you could try a little harder maybe for one more minute? Oh well, I'm not going to lose sleep over the fact that I have zero good pictures.
I had to bump this from the 2nd page. I think I'm probably the last one to get their scan done!
1) When are you due? 6/24 (due date twinsies babyzebra )
2) If you found out, what are you having? Boy
3) If you found out, did you have any sex disappointment? (This is a "safe space" it's totally normal to feel a range of emotions when it comes to joining a team) We found out at 16 weeks and yes I did go through a period of disappointment. We are 99% sure we are done after 2 so I was bummed I would not have a daughter (we have a DS). I've gotten over that and am super excited for brothers!
4) What's your name strategy? Do you have a name set in stone? Taking a couple to the hospital? Not ready to pick yet? We are struggling. We aren't even agreeing on options, let alone THE name. We have shelved it for awhile.
4) If you aren't finding out, what's your name strategy? Do you have one of each set in stone? Taking a few to the hospital? Not ready to pick yet? N/A
5) Any AWs/comments/questions? Everything looked normal so that is a relief.
Share a U/S picture if you please The little stinker was face down with his hands over his face so we got zero face or profile shots. But the US tech felt bad and said to just swing by after my next appointment and she will do a 3D scan on the fly for free. That will be super cool. He better cooperate!
@microworm Congrats on a healthy scan! Also it is really nice that the tech offered to give you another U/S so that you could get a face shot, and 3D at that! DH wants us to pay for a 3D U/S but I don't know if I'm on board with spending the money.

Honestly I don't even know how much it would cost for a 3D ultrasound but I wouldn't pay for it. I guess I just figure I'll see the little guy on the outside soon enough! But since it is free, it'll be cool!

It's between $150-$175. I agree that I can wait another 14 weeks to see this LO in person, unless DH feels strongly about the 3D. A couple of our friends got one recently for their April 16 baby, and seeing theirs made him want one.
