What is everyone doing to celebrate tonight? We had picked out some nice steaks and stuff for a fancy salad. Surprise, surprise, that sounds gross now.
MH is cooking dinner and we're having a game night! I'll try to stay up until midnight.

I thought about CDing my first 2 but I worked full time while pregnant with both of them and the extra work kind of intimidated me. Considering it this time, but we'll see. Before solids, I know you don't have to rinse poopy diapers if the baby is breastfed. I'm assuming you have to spray them from the beginning for formula fed babies? There's a very good chance this baby will be on formula (based on the last 2).
I've pretty much laid around most of the day because I felt so crummy. Managed to go to the grocery store, and then we're going to my parents house for dinner tonight. Is it sad that the highlight of my night will be the queso dip my dad is making? I've been craving it allllll week. And then I'll probably be in bed by like 10.

eta: just saw the CD thread. I will c&p there.
I work full time and travel out of state and we've had no issues CDing. It's really not that bad!
Feeling weird and lightheaded/shaky today, so I think a simple shrimp stir fry and rice for late lunch/early dinner is about the extent of my energy for today. I try really hard to keep up on the basics each day but when the toddler tosses all her toys out of the bins right after I pick them up... lol well I guess they get to stay on the floor for a while.
And you guys reminded me that I still have Thanksgiving's bottle of sparkling cranapple cider in the fridge. Yum! Guess that's getting opened tonight.
I don't cloth diaper but I've always heard they're easier to potty train.
This. My friend's son was fully PT before age 2
We have a girl who is 2.5 and we CD. Not potty trained yet. We are getting there slowly, but she doesn't mind peeing in her diapers. She won't go to college in diapers so we will get there someday!

Going to my parents' house. My sister, BIL, and nephews will be there. We're having sandwiches and potato soup, plus some snacks/dips. We usually play board games.

Just got to my SIL's. She made reservations for Chinese food but the MS finally kicked in today and the idea of Chinese sounds sooo unappealing to me... so I made them change reservations to the Melting Pot. Super expensive but sounds edible so hopefully it's worth it.
In the meantime it's 5:30 and I just want to go to sleep right now. I'm being a horribly rude guest while I try to get my head together.

We CD with DD till she was about 8 months. We had terrible water and used microfiber so she got rashes and they stunk terribly. I tried stripping them and she was still getting rashes so I gave up and sold my whole stash. It was a lot easier to CD with a newborn but once the solids come it's definitely messier.
I got DH on board by comparing cost and showing him how easy it is. We used Bum Genius 4.0s mostly and I also had some Hybrids.

I promised myself if I got pregnant I wouldn't complain about my symptoms. I'm still keeping to that IRL but can I whine for a minute to all of you? I'm nauseous and tired and have a headache and my nose is driving me nuts. All I want is a nap and I can't have one. **end whining**

I'm feeling exactly the same right now plus my boobs hurt. I felt decent all day and suddenly it's all here again. I have a cold that's driving me nuts too on top of it.
My wild NYE plans will be sitting on the couch, trying to figure out what I want to stomach, and then going to bed early!

Dh picked up a bottle of champagne. Judge me if you must but I'm indulging in a little mimosa at midnight. Just got up from a nap with DD. She stayed up way longer than usual today without a nap.
We decided on a Benihana lunch. I was pretty pissed when we got there and saw they were only offering a "holiday menu" which mean the cost of lunch nearly tripled. Came home and fell asleep. The LO is still asleep, I guess I should go wake her up...

No judgement here! I had a glass of wine over Christmas and it was lovely.

One mimosa will not hurt anything. Enjoy! If anyone judges you I will kick them in the shin

My big head has been deflated a bit this week. When I was pregnant with my son, I barely ever had symptoms and felt great the entire time. Like, I'm talking I was induced at almost 42 weeks and worked out the morning I went in for my induction. I always knew I was just lucky and every pregnancy is different, but deep down I thought that this pregnancy would be the same. Well, the last 4-5 days I have felt pretty crappy and had no energy. And I'm not liking it!!
Moral of the story- I have realized I'm not some magical unicorn pregnant lady. I just lucked out last time.

We CD. My 3yo was fully PT at 20 months but also was incredibly verbal and is very much a pleaser. I plan to PT my 18 month old at 20ish months as well but he is neither as vocal nor as much of a pleaser so I'm not as confident in him doing it so quickly.
That being said, I do think he is ready physically because he holds his pee for long durations and then will go and immediately tells me he needs a new diaper. I think feeling wet with CDs helps a lot but if your kid isn't into it, you can't force them to PT.
My dog is freaked out because people are shooting off fireworks and there are lots of pops. H just farted and the dog went running He is such a weirdo!

Make all the complaints. You are more than appreciative to be here and you've fought hard to get to this point. You deserve to vent, too. :) In no way does complaining mean you are being selfish or rude or anything. You're pregnant, there's lots to complain about. <3
Betas at the ER yesterday were 500, which is just a tiny bit above the 487 from Monday, so we were expecting to get another MTX dose today.
Got to the hospital around 10:30am for betas, then waited for the call to get the MTX. OB calls around 12:45pm and says betas dropped to 401! She didn't have the ER records, but from Monday's beta, it's a decrease of over 15%, which is what she wanted to see at a minimum! So no shot today and no needing to go to the hospital again for a week, to make sure we're going in the right direction! I'm so glad to be not living in there for another week.

You busted ass to get to this point. Doesn't mean you have to be excited to feel like shit day after day.
