Pumping fail. I didn't want to put together all the parts for the electric so I used the manual on almost boulder boob. Got 2oz. That'll learn me I guess.
How many vodkas did you haveee last night I need a drink idea for today
So we're under a blizzard warning and I get to drive to work today. This sucks.
Yikes! Drive safe! We're forecasted for 12 to 13 inches and the blowing snow here. They may as well call it a blizzard.
Thanks! We're forecasted for up to 18 inches and then the wind is supposed to pick up really bad. I have to drive down all country roads to get to work too so this is going to be scary. I feel like a little kid but my dad is going to take me since he has 4 wheel drive.
Night 2 in the crib went better! We had a good stretch from 7-12 unfortunately we were up cleaning until 10 :/ DD is napping while I pump. I like how women have to have the answer for everything... For example .. If I don't plan every meal, H doesn't know what to do! We have like 4 different options at least for breakfast, and I have to list them and let him pick like a toddler. Come on man! Why do men have to act like they are helpless.
Anyways I am indulging in some local whiskey today with coke I think. Bring on the drinks!!
How long does the four month sleep regression last? We have regressed from 2 hour stretches back to 1-1.5 hour stretches.
This is like a bad horror movie.
Reasons I hate having an end of the month baby...knowing the terror that's about to hit and not being able to do anything to change that.
Hope you start getting more sleep real soon.
Me too! I watch like a hawk and go "is this it?"
I am never allowed to complain about sleep, ever. But the last two nights have been a bit painful over here... Even MH brought C into bed with us around 5 am (and he usually frowns on it). Keurig is screaming my name.
Welp, no luck with going back to bed. Dd was a hot mess. I think she's teething. She was going to town chewing on my knuckle. Gave her some tylenol and she finally passed out in my arms. Win because of the baby cuddles. But now I'm stuck under a sleeping baby and I'm starving.
Yay for all of those who got sleep last night
And for all the sleep regression:
Edit: maybe I don't know how to gif on mobile. Guess I'll settle on a pic instead.

Sleep was had by no one last night. Emma hated everything because her belly was gassy and she needs to poop (going on seven days over here). So she has "mean toots" as I call them to her. Anyway i think we finally fell asleep at 4:15 or so and then we cat napped (lots of pacifier pushing) until 7:45. Long ass night. Yay for coffee and a unicorn husband.
We were supposed to get an inch or two of snow.. and looking outside, I'd say we got 6. F'n meteorologists. Now I have to decide if I want to drive what will likely take 45 minutes each way to a "superbowl party" just so ds1 can have a play date. I could care less about the game. I also wish my brain would get it together and stop making me think I hear A crying every damn time I'm in the bathroom with the door shut.

Caught up on Friday/Saturday randoms. Fffc: is it a must-read?
My toddler peed on the passenger seat of my car yesterday.
I forgot to send my stepmom a bday card...her birthday is tomorrow. I know she's gonna be butthurt about it and then I'll get an email from my dad (because she told him to) telling me her feelings were hurt and I should put more effort in. ::eyeroll::

It's snowing. I wish we would get two feet so we'd have a snow day tomorrow.
I love super bowl Sunday. Both for the game and the food. This year DH is going to a party while I stay home with dd and study. It's probably best since I wouldn't be able to eat most of the food because dairy free, but still kinda bummed. At least I have some hard ciders. And, go Seahawks!

My unicorn has been back the past two nights as well! I'm not sure if the regression is over (lasted almost two weeks) or if we just realized he needs to be inclined. We put a rolled up towel under one side of his mattress the first night he slept. He spits up after every feeding and then his voice became hoarse. So we concluded reflux was the issue. Going to ask his pedi what else we should be doing at his appointment on Tuesday.
Love titted (or whatever it's called today) for the sleep, not the possible reflux. Hopefully your pedi has some good suggestions.

Thanks! We never had good sleep so even if you get some regression I doubt you will regress so far if that helps. She might be lower than a donkey at night. She is a day unicorn though which really helps.

So I accidentally ate something with butter in it yesterday. My first dairy since thanksgiving. So far, no symptoms or spit ups. I'm wondering if I should experiment a little bit this week with incorporating a little but of dairy. Has anyone tried doing this? I'm not even sure if the dairy/soy allergy was legit in the first place..,
