First appointment went well. My husband really liked the doctor because he cusses a lot. He is the head of obstetrics at the hospital and seems like a really straight forward to the point kind of doctor. He agreed to follow my immune protocol, even though he doesn't really buy into it. He is also sending me to a genetic counselor to do the fetal free cell testing. They do testing at his office, but he wasn't sure which tests can be used for donor pregnancies. I think the genetic counseling is a little overkill, but whatever.
He also did an u/s and the baby measured 9w4d, which is one day behind. He didn't measure the heart rate, but we could see the flickering heartbeat on the u/s.
TTC #1 since August 2011 DH (32): SA is ok, slightly low morph, normal SCSA Me (32): Slightly low P4, hostile CM, carrier for CF, high NKC, High TNFa, heterozyogous mutated Factor XIII, and +APA October 2012-August 2015: 4 failed IUIs, 3 failed IVFs, 2 failed FETs w/donor embryos, 1 freeze all IVF, 1 Failed FET, and 1 cancelled FET November 2015: FET w/ DEm #3 Transferred 1 perfect 6AA blast
I think I might actually have my rainbow. I'm trying to keep myself realistic until my ultrasound, but I'm a lot more hopeful now. Ultrasound is scheduled for 1/15
Aaaaahhhhh this is amazing! Crossing everything for you, Kat!!!!

My ultrasound is tomorrow. I'm dying of anxiety. PgAL brain can suck it. I can't help but envision how things went the last time I was in that room. And dreams of bleeding are NOT HELPING.
My friend brought her 1 month old over this morning. OMG. I always seem to forget how tiny and helpless newborns are...and snuggable and adorable. DD1 was all about it. She is going to be such a great big sister (again). She kept asking for her own baby and saying she wanted to be pregnant. Ha.

I've been doing 25mg of B6 every 12 hours or so and I finally feel like eating things. Not that I'm particularly hungry for anything, but I'm not dry heaving at the mere thought of food. I do however feel the overwhelming urge to curl up and sleep till 2nd tri...

Last night I took diclegis for the first time. Holy camoly, where have you been all my life. I could actually feed my daughter and eat today. And I'm ravenous.....so naturally I'm anxious that I'm no longer pregnant because nausea was my main symptom and may not take it tomorrow.

theophania yay! twinkie0612 glad you had a good first appointment. elebishi ((hugs)). I know it's hard to go back to the place where you got bad news, but your past does not define your future!
sarcaztic10, how far along were you when you were able to pick up the hb on the doppler? If all goes well after our next u/s I'd like to get one. But I don't want to start using it too early if I won't hear anything.

I was able to find it after 30 minutes of looking at 10 weeks exactly. I tried last night at 10w2d and found it after about 20 minutes. I am so glad I got the dopler, for me it really helps with my PGAL anxiety. I will be trying to find the HB again tonight even though it was my goal to wait until tomorrow because I had a bad dream last night that I had another m/c.

I found it at 9w exactly with DS2 and my MW said that is reaaallllly early. With DS1 we found it at 9w3d
All of my symptoms are gone today. The further the day progresses the more symptoms I lose. I could probably even eat meat tonight which I haven't had in three weeks. My brain is convincing myself that I'm out.

It is completely normal to have good days and bad days. And, as we near the end of 1st tri, some of us will begin to have lots of good days. Try to relax and enjoy feeling well (but I understand --I would freak too). When is your next dr appt?
