So there is a liquidation shop about 2 hours away that has a new double BOB jogging stroller for $299. Am I crazy for wanting to drive 2 hours for this awesome deal? It won't be our main stroller for the twins (we decided on city select for everyday use), but DH and I enjoy tailgating, outdoor festivals, hiking on dirt trails, and there are bike paths nearby too. I think the BOB would fare much better in those types of situations. So what say you guys? Should I pull the trigger? The savings are enticing!

HOLY NIPPLE PAIN BATMAN!!! Last night I woke up in the middle of the night and with the amount of pain I was in I would not have been surprised if I lifted my shirt and found two crabs locked on to those suckers like you see in cartoons and stuff! Then today they just ache! I just took a shower and could not stand facing the water stream! Never had nipple pain like this before in previous pregnancies!!! Yikes!!

We were without power and heat last night and it was -30*F for over 4 hours. Everyone was in bed with me (DH, DS, dog, 2 cats, and myself) until the house finally started to warm up early this morning.

Oh my god, that sounds horrible - I'm glad you didn't freeze to death!

Oh my gosh- that sounds awful! I'm so glad your power came back on. It's crazy how fast a house starts to lose heat once the power is out.

I have been sooo productive today! Ran some errands, made 2 types of soup that will probably get me through lunches for the next couple weeks, bought some healthy snacks since I'm starving all the time and chips are probably not the best idea, rearranged some stuff to have more room in our kitchen, and did laundry.

Wow that's so cold! I'm glad it finally started to warm up!
sandandsea we are in the midst of sleep training too. How old is your LO? We are focusing on getting DD to go to sleep without one of us in the room/staying in her bed (she'll be 2 later this month).
He just turned 4. We've done this a lot of times over the past 3 years using every recommended method and he's just not a good sleeper naturally and he's scared of monsters/the dark/being alone/etc.. We're now doing the super nanny keep putting him back and being very firm method. He's old enough now that I'm not worried about him crying too much or really needing us so I feel like we can take a hard line approach now (his pedi agreed). We've done 4 nights and the first was really hard, the next 2 were increasingly better, and last night was awful. THe pedi said it takes 5 nights for the average child, so we're thinking 10 for us because DS is very stubborn.
He thinks sleep is boring, is never tired, and doesn't want to miss out on anything, so just personality wise, sleep is hard for him.
