I woke up at five to pee but puked as well. Now I'm laying in bed feeling miserable.
I'm debating hard core to SAH after baby three. My husband doesn't get it that although we can swing it financially we will need to change our spending habits a bit. I anticipate an argument when he wants to go shopping today for crap we don't need.
I was going to go to church this morning but I'm too nauseous to get out of bed.
Today MH and I have to work out a budget to pay off a few credit cards this year. I want to go back to work part time after this kid gets here so the less CC debt we have, it'll be easier on us. Right now I only pay the mortgage and our FSA through my paycheck and I'm pretty sure I can swing the mortgage working PT, but I just want some extra money regardless.
You know if I just won power ball last night it would make this so much easier!
DD1 is up and started the day off by being sassy. She's been up for about 40 minutes and I've spent about half of it arguing with her. Ugh. But we need to finally put away Christmas stuff.. I've been too lazy to do it.
My insomnia is getting worse, my re suggested Benadryl or unisom but I'm hesitant since they will both make me groggy. We're supposed to take DS to my parents but that means half of nap time will be spent in the car and taking a nap when he does has been my saving grace
coffeequeen14, I have to SAH after 3. We can't afford two in Daycare plus DDs school tuition. It is going to be a huge, huge adjustment and H is probably going to have to pull in extra hours.

Haha I plan my life around dd's naptime. I cannot miss a nap
I have a third ultrasound on Tuesday to confirm that stinky noodle butt is growing. I'm nervous as usual, but I am mostly nervous because after this scan, I won't have another for over a month.
I called my mom to come over. She usually comes over Sunday evening but I need her sooner. My mom lives two hours away funny how you still rely on your mom at 33 years old.
coffeequeen14, feel free to post more in depth about your decision to SAH, we can help you weigh pros and cons!
There is something sooo relaxing about waking up to the sound of rain but knowing it's Sunday and you can take it easy and stay inside. Currently cuddling my dog in bed.
Good morning. I slept well (with unisom) and DH took care so ds so I could go back to sleep. I feel so much better and ate half a bagel this morning, which is more than I ate all day yesterday.
kam3100, sorry you're so sick! Hopefully it passes soon.
Sunday morning for us is always church, but due to the sickness we are staying home. We haven't taken our tree down yet, so we'll do that while we watch the football games this afternoon. I don't want to think about all the needles that we'll have to clean up.

Good morning! Back at work with the cafeteria egg rolls lol. Coffee doesn't make me want to hurl this morning so I'm much more awake today than yesterday

No matter how old you get, she will always be your mother
kam3100 I'm sorry you're sick, but it's great that your mom can come help. Take care of yourselves.
coffeequeen14 Ah, yes. The 'random crap we don't need' (e.g., RCWDN) argument. You have my sympathies. In our house, it's often a matter of 'just because we CAN afford it doesn't mean we SHOULD.' Last year we focused on food spending and managed to cut our grocery and eating out expenses nearly in half, and best of all, we stopped wasting so much food. Getting to that point, however, allowed us to perfect the RCWDN argument.
As for me, the outside thermometer reads -9F. I'm supposed to go do lunch with a grad student I'm mentoring. I am not looking forward to being outside.
Well after my 3 year old stated that "Sharing is tricky and sometimes hard!", she let her little sister wear her slippers and said "You can wear them ALL day, because I just love you so much!" Hoping our day is turning around.
We are finally getting the first little bit of snow for the year, so after it settles down we will go out and play, and then come in for hot chocolate. I'm not a huge snow fan, but I love how much they love it.
