Whenever I start these randoms threads I post & run. Not because I don't love all of you (I do), but because I honestly have very little time until about 4pm to look back on tapatalk once I get to school. So enjoy randoming (new word! ) & I'll LT you all later!
LO has learned how to snap my bra while nursing. Not amused, kid.
I work today and I'm hoping to get a lot of my presentation I'm giving on behavior management soon done as I don't think there is a class for me to cover.
We're dealing with constipation over here. Guessing it's from bananas, but M finally pooped at 4:15. By the time I changed him and tried to put him back down in the crib, he wasn't having it. Slept on me from 5-5:50 though but I couldn't fall asleep bc forgot blanket and was too cold.
Bummed I fell asleep and missed the golden globes. Anyone else get ridiculously happy seeing Leo and Kate winslet hugging/talking during the show? Haha. Saw pictures this morning obviously since I was already in bed by 9.
Back after a quiet yet productive weekend. Finally put all of the indoor Christmas stuff away and made a big dent in rotating / reorganizing toys. We are starting to declutter the house in preparation for our annual super bowl party and it is so much easier doing a piece of it each weekend.
budders I'm sorry had a rough night with V and that you can't find your glasses. I know that struggle well! B slept decent last night so I'm feeling ok. My first pp af came this weekend so me and a hot water bottle were best friends! Today is a trip into the city for a doctors appointment for B. Hope Monday isn't too hard on you ladies!

Had a 7:30am follow up for O's helmet. All is going well there! Hanging out at our favorite coffee shop now and he's entertaining everyone with his shrieks and growles. Going to apply for his passport later today!
Fun David Bowie story - after our wedding, there was karaoke in the bar of the hotel. My H got up with his friend and did "Under Pressure" but he was so drunk and had no idea what the words were anyways so he just stumbled around.

H fed J peaches and pears last night. So, 5 am came the most foul smelling poop of all time. I'm going to have to douse the room in febreze again. I was up until nearly 4 am with insomnia, then it was 6 am by the time J was cleaned up and back to sleep, and he woke up again at 7.
More coffee please. Need an IV today.
Also, what the heck is up with this super high pitched screeching? I'm glad you're so happy kiddo, but there are better ways to express yourself rather than wrecking the eardrums of everyone within a 10 mile radius.

Screeching is part of discovering their voice. The consistent screeching lasted about 3 weeks for us with LO. (Of course it was magnified bc DS thought it was a neat sound to imitate. ..)
Constipated baby over here, too. He was up at 11, 1, 2, and 3. I gave in and put him in the swing which helped us both get a chunk of sleep until 7ish. I told my mom to give him applesauce, rectally check his temp, and let me know if he's pooped by the end of the day. If not, I'll go get prune juice. We need sleep, yo.
I know there were things I wanted to do this morning when I go to work but I don't remember what they were.
musicfrk2002, the high-pitched squealing is accessing the part of his voice called 'bell-tones.' When Mariah Carey sings super high she is also using them. Typically we stop accessing them in elementary school but there are ways to make them last into adulthood. *Brought to you by nerdy voice major who can still access her bell tones because she didn't like using her chest voice*

musicfrk2002 I've got a shrieker too! He goes between shrieks and growling, which really throws people off when they meet him. He's like "Yaaahhheeeee!!! ERRRgggghhhhhhhaaaaah" Seriously from the highest to the lowest noises imaginable!
Invited to my friend's baby shower. Just checked their registery and they registered for a 1300.00 stroller! It's by stokke. We ended up getting them a rock n play.

Ahhh wow. Well, maybe they have a rich aunt who told them to register for a super nice stroller so she could buy it??

I'm an alto 2. Give me all the chest voice lol. This kid is screeching higher than I've ever sang.

I finally got a vocal classification that made sense near the end of college. I'm technically a 'dramatic soprano' so thing Wagnerian opera singer (complete with viking helmet). I can sing super high but sound like an alto. I was always lumped into Alto 1 land but it's uncomfortable for me to sing below middle C for too long.

Not 100% sure applesauce will work for you. If it has in the past please ignore. But when someone has diarrhea they're supposed to be on the BRAT diet because those foods help form stool. Prunes or pears would be better. And if needed 1 oz of apple juice or prune juice.

LO is crawling around chasing the cats. They aren't amused. Also on day 5 of cutting dairy out of my diet to see if that helps LOs fussiness, seems to be working so far!
J has started screeching when he seeing his reflection in the fridge or stove. He also bangs on the fridge doors...I'm beginning to regret my choice of stainless steel appliances.
This is Jules too! If she sees herself in the mirror she goes insane! Soo loud!
