My insomnias better, got control of the heart burn but the cyst in my ovary kept me up all night I had a large dermoid removed in September with the re and the pain I'm feeling is similar.
Luckily I have a scan today and we can check on how big it's getting plus we should be able to see the heartbeat today!!! DW is able to come to this one!
Today I just woke up in a hormonal rage. I hate feeling this way but I know it's my hormones and not me and I'll do my best to control it, but still.
For example, MH had this one FB friend that I think they talk a lot, whatever, that's fine. Now she comments on EVERYTHING on his page so this morning I just wanted to rip into her and I know I couldn't because it's probably harmless and my hormones are making this into a bigger thing than it is. It still sucks that I'm just pissy about it.
Doctors appointment for me as well! DH and I decided to take the whole day off but still send DS to daycare so we can have a fun day. He was even kind enough to let me sleep in and do the drop off by himself. Good luck to everyone else with appointments today!

Was up the first half of the night trying to supress the lovely cough that now accompanies the cold I got from DD2. Once I finally got to sleep DD1 was back to her old waking up tricks. Oy. Can't decide if I'm glad to be at work today and not chasing the kids or sad (no nap).
Thank goodness for a little treat in the form of Starbucks on the gift card my parents got me for Christmas.
First MW appointment today, but no scan expected, so that's a bummer. Hopefully they'll at least look for a heart beat on the doppler, but at 8 wks I'm guessing it's still to early to find it. I'm going to figure out when I can get a scan, and do my Materni21 testing, so the appointment doesn't feel like to much of a waste of time...

Rogue hope your day turns around! youdontsay even if your hormones are driving the rage, I can get why you'd be irritated and I'm sorry. One of my friends had to talk to her H to get someone to back off on FB a while back. dc2london hope your day is as great as the start!

Any suggestions on where to get a good, relatively high cut maternity cami? It's the one piece of maternity wear I don't own. I'm so petite that most maternity camis are obscenely low cut on me. Given the way my blump has gone crazy I don't want to stretch out my regular camis.
Rogue and @remylove - I feel your pain on the early waking. I can't sleep past 4am no matter how late I go to bed. At least I no longer have trouble falling asleep at night.
Like Theo, I'm waiting for my scan tomorrow and hoping all is well. I wish the next two days would go faster!
So very tired. DH has been working till 1:30am the last few nights and it takes forever to fall into a deep sleep since I know he's coming to bed, but not there yet.
I slept decently actually. I was awake from about 3-4 (3am seems to be my witching hour these days) but eventually fell back to sleep. I feel like I tossed and turned a bit though because to be honest I don't feel rested at all despite getting 8 hours.
I am officially 8 weeks today, isn't that a milestone of some sort?
gratefulgirl I'm sure I'm making a mountain out of a mole hill but I found MH searching her on FB and looking at pictures of her running a local marathon after IVF #1 failed so I think it was just a trigger and all the same old feelings are coming back. It sucks.

Do you have a Costco membership? They sell camis in a pack of 2 for $12 or $13, in lots of colors and they are SO comfortable. They have adjustable straps so you can fit them to your preferred neckline, and those babies STRETCH. I wore mine through my entire pregnancy and while BFing DS2. Even at 38 weeks they fit great

Just did preschool drop off. There is a reported case of strep throat and pink eye in her room. Eek. Hopefully she doesn't get anything.
Now I'm sitting in the drive thru at Starbucks in peace and quiet. My mom is watching DD2 because I drove my niece to preschool too. I never stop here because the line is always so long, but today there isn't a whining kid in the back!

Target! My answer to all things. I found some great cami "tunics" that covered my bump all the way through pregnancy. And they were less than half the price of the maternity camis. This was two years ago but I'm sure they still have something similar.
Around 2 yesterday I started feeling pretty rough, couldn't eat for the rest of the night. This morning I woke up feeling like I may never eat again. Then when I dropped B off at DC, one of the kids had a waffle. Suddenly I was starving and had to have one too!

Also at Target, the Liz Lange maternity tanks are a bit more coverage than a cami (thicker straps), and they seem to have a relatively high neckline (but I am tall, so YMMV on that front).
GL to everyone with appointments today! Mine is this afternoon - with that said, didn't sleep too terribly well (as expected since the night before appointments I never sleep well).
