We are currently still getting snow and already have about 13 inches so I'm home for the day. I had to get up though to make sure I didn't have to go in so now I can't fall back asleep
Yup snow day here too, so no school for my 4 year old. He had a PD day on Friday too so that makes 4 days in a row cooped up with both kids because it's cold AF. Any fun ideas for indoor activities on a snowy day?
Buses are canceled but schools are still open so I have to teach. I'm. Sure most of my students will be there since most are walkers. The drive to daycare is going to be brutal.
So...much...snow. We are stuck inside as well. I bought my toddler scissors and she has turned into a mini Edward scissor hands. We also have tiny scraps of paper everywhere. It is still worth it for the quiet entertainment

It's snowing hard here.
I'm hoping it stops soon or snows long enough to cancel DS's dance class because I forgot to get his shoes and don't want to have to get them in the blizzard.

We did a bunch of winter crafts during last week's snow. Polar bears with cotton balls. Igloos with marshmallows. Made a volcano (not wintery but the kids loved it). Google them for a ton of other ideas.
Its a snow day for our kids. I have to work but not till 2pm. I am only up so early because of my dogs. They dont understand weekends/snow days any of that. We need to have a talk apparently. My weather app says its -4 outside.....we will be inside today!

Snow is supposed to start here at noon. I took a personal day off work and I did too much this weekend and am bone tired. Dropped Dd off at daycare and am waiting for the dollar store to open to get treat bag goodies. Then home for bed.

Where are you? Can you go out for even a few minutes? That saves my sanity.
Otherwise: -Baking -Bring pans of snow in to build indoor snowmen -Use water colors in the bathtub Flashlight in a dark room Tape markers to the back of hot wheels so they color as they drive across paper -dance party -

Snow day here. It's not a preschool day, so all that really means is Parent Bootcamp at the Y is cancelled and I doubt DS1's speech teacher will be coming today. He had a high fever last night anyway, so doubt we would have done much. He went to bed at 10 and was up by 6 and whined most of the night. We're all going to be a bit cranky today.

It's -25 where we are so not sure if we can venture outside at all. I think I will bring in some snow and put it in a big bin for them to play with!
Got the call at 7 last night that they closed work for today. Daycare is open, but neither DH nor I feel like dealing with the stupid people to bring him, so DS will be home with us. Yay?
It has been snowing since at least 3am, when I got up to pee, still going quite strong. If it keeps up like this, we will have almost as much as last storm. And there is very little wind, so it is all staying put.

We got a ton of snow but it turned to rain. It's supposed to start snowing again in a few hours. Everyone's outside digging out which is making me irrationally angry. I want everyone to stay home and have a snow day.
My son is in bed with me looking through an US Weekly. He just kissed a picture of Beyonce and said "mama". He's my favorite person today.
Oh, Whole 30 starts today so no delicious snow day treats.
It's rainy and cold here so obviously no snow day. I'm fucking sick of winter, and it's only February.
DS woke up miserable with a fever and cough and snot. RSV is going around school so I think he has that. He's home with DH today. Of course, I also caught something and feel like shit, but no fever or anything. So off work I went.
Blah.
February is always the point I get tired of winter. I hope you and your DS feel better soon!
