We were going to a party tonight, but I'm staying home with M. He's doing better, no fever, but I'm worried he would get overstimulated. He got so excited when got home last night that he was breathing rapidly and heavily for a while. I was almost at the lets go yup the ER when I got him to calm down. So schoolwork and snuggles for me.
@piedpiper07 I'm fascinated with your weather, what is it like for you now? It's just so different from here where we get snow like every other year or so.
@greengirl09 fx H takes the kids and you get some downtime!
I have a mild hangover from having some whiskey last night. Lame.
Did grocery shopping this morning. Laundry and cleaning later. Going to throw in a Hobby Lobby and Target trip in somewhere, too. Typical and boring day.
Working on crib naps today while H and fil deal with the leaking dishwasher and repair the damage. Then after W's second nap we'll swing by Sam's club. Thrilling I know
Oh and while I don't WANT my baby to be sick, she is sleeping a ton and going down for naps and bed so easily. I am rested, bathrooms and floors are clean, and I'm enjoying college bball in peace! I don't hate it. FFSC?

I enjoyed Noah's 3 hours naps when he was sick. No flames.
I'm not very crafty but I'm interested in maybe making some valentines this weekend with C's footprints. Creative moms: what do you use? Are there child friendly ink/stamping pads or do you use paint?

I wouldn't hate that either. My sick babies get extra clingy and I couldn't put the baby down last night. I didn't get much sleep.

Hauled A to the ped this morning to be told she's probably just teething. She is refusing most of her milk for going on three days now. Coughing kids everywhere. Ugh.
I'm supposed to clean up our bedroom today. It's still trashed from coming back from vacation/morning routine is jacked up with mil being here so much. And she's coming tomorrow night (again- instead of Monday morning) because they are calling for half an inch of snow throughout the day on Monday. WTF.
How is subbing and wedding planning? I miss seeing you!
Subbing is good! The assistant principal called me in a few weeks ago to ask that I finish my certification so that I can be hired full time for next year.
Wedding planning is ok. It was going perfectly until my parents decided they want us to move out. My dad had a mental breakdown Monday and threatened suicide... the police were called (by my brother). They blame me for it because I won't leave E with him while I work since he is not stable. So now apparently I am causing problems in the house and need to get out so we have to work on our budget to see if we can even still have a wedding.

Maybe moving out is for the best. Remember, you can get married on a very small budget. And a couple of years from now you can renew vows and throw a bigger party if you want. The main thing about getting married is you and your SO and the promises you make to each other.

I had plans to get a lot done today but the heart wants what it wants...and right now my heart wants a hot bubble bath and comfy pjs. I'm freezing right now!
amberlie liking for work not home. I'm sorry you're dad is not functioning well and that your mom is reinforcing it. Good job taking care of your little girl. About the wedding at the end of the day the important thing is you're married to your df. +1 to having a big blowout another time.
H and fil have not started the demo of the kitchen. They're still discussing floors. Right now there is water damage and I don't feel comfortable having W in the kitchen in case there's mold I can't see so this really needs to get done. Fx they speed up once they buy the flooring.
Got in a big fight with my H today. I hate that. It was one if those ones that goes on for hours and whenever we try to talk again we just talk in circles and don't resolve anything. Sometimes I wish we had a mediator to come dig us out of a ditch when it gets like this.

I know exactly how you feel. Hopefully you guys have a breakthrough and it gets resolved.
I have been the car half of the day. Woke up early to go see one of my students play basketball. I had run back home to get dd's tap shoes then back in town to meet a former co teacher for lunch. Now back to the other side of town for tap class and hopefully back across town for some college basketball viewing. This is all being done while H is doing army stuff this weekend and I am on my own with the kiddos.

amberlie, that's great that work is going so well! I'm sorry that home is not going as well. I echo packmomma and @janetheconquerer thoughts re: wedding planning— ultimately, the most important thing is your life with E and you DF. And it's possible to do something really special on a shoestring budget— an intimate courthouse wedding, or an informal picnic in a backyard or park, for example. Whatever you do will be amazing because it's about the family you have created.
