I think I'm going to go shopping this weekend to get a few plain short and long sleeved maternity shirts. I'm thinking target is my best bet to go to first.
I'm also going to bring DS somewhere where he can play and I can sit down and drink water. Maybe I'll bring him to my sister's house for a few hours. I'm still getting cramps in my belly when he goes bananas.
My new thing is to have friends (with kids) come over on Saturdays for breakfast. My husband always has morning practice so he's never home Saturday's so I get company, ds gets to play and everyone wins. This morning my husbands boss' wife and kids are coming at 7:30am. It's an early start but were up anyway right? It's supposed to be 55 today!! I better be outside enjoying the spring weather later! babyzebra I hope your cramps go away and you get lots of sitting time while ds gets his willies out.
Hi friends! We have a birthday party today at a brewery; they have a Korean BBQ truck today which will lessen the pain from not being able to drink beers.
Tomorrow I am meeting my friend's new baby!
Anyone else's belly but to starting to lose the fight against the baby? My started to look kinda funky this week. I have a feeling it may be popping out in the next few weeks! ?
I'm going to see Bruce Springsteen tonight! He's my favorite live!
So jealous! We tried to get tickets but failed. They're selling on eBay for $400 each, gah!!!
We lucked out and my friend's mom was able to get good seats for regular price because she works for the sponsor of the arena. My aunt just bought some last week and paid about $200/ticket. This will be my fourth time seeing him, and every time is so good.
babyzebra @pbandj14 gap has super comfy simple long sleeve shirts, soft and long enough and pretty inexpensive. They are the 'pure body' ones. They also have tanks and short sleeves with the same style
Happy weekend! No particular plans here. Enjoying the laziness. Last night I guess I temporarily forgot about the whole pregnancy thing. I was distracted and heading up the stairs for bed. I walked past a big mirror we have and caught sight of my body from the side and freaked myself out for a second. "Aaaah, I'm huge and lumpy! ...oh yea."

I love the Gap pure body shirts too. I bought them online - I have two long sleeve and three short sleeve. I think I need some more in a bigger size though (thanks but no thanks giant boobs!)
It is raining out... So, we are playing in the house this morning. The three year old slept with me last night and I am freaking tired. We have a birthday party after nap which will be a nice break in the day.

Currently sitting in the lab waiting to be called for my glucose test. So fun. I've decided to go ahead and apply for that job, never know if you don't try!
Today I have a haircut and color appointment so I'm looking forward to just sitting and zoning out for a couple of hours, read some trash magazines, etc.
I'm going to give a big fuck you to my bathroom scale this morning for showing me as exactly 2lbs heavier than exactly 24 hours ago (and 4 lbs heavier than exactly 1 week ago).
I also ran out of fiber gummies this week and haven't gone #2 since Wednesday. I drink tons of water, eat relatively well as far a fiber intake, I even eat a fiber cereal most mornings, my system is very slow pregnant or not but it's driving me crazy.
Other than that I'm really happy it's the weekend!
Today is suppose to get to 66 degrees! I want to take the girls outside to ride bikes and scooters! But my house is a sty! I've been so busy working on getting the big girls room done I have completely neglected laundry and cleaning.
Hopefully I don't sound like a huge witch, but I am so frustrated with DH. Yes, I understand he doesn't feel well, but he just can't cope AT ALL. He says the worst thing is the ringing in his ears. He just lays around (totally unusual for him) he is short with the girls when they are loud (often) because his ears are so sensitive. He is driving me nuts, get up and go do something. My ears are ringing right now too, buddy!

I'd highly recommend stool softeners or laxatives, it's not fun being backed up and those will help you avoid hemroids. Im squeamish with all that stuff but 3rd pregnancy in I've realized there are some things you don't need to suffer through! Also very very important post birth.

Yes! Also my belly button is almost totally flat now. I'm expecting an outtie soon.
csat that was me a week ago or so & it was so so so annoying. I felt 150% better once my body got back on a more regular schedule. I started having salads twice a day in addition to my fiber cereal and it helped some. You're scale is also being extra mean because of that, probably.

I don't think mine will pop out that soon, but it used to be a vertical line and now it is horizontal. Pregnancy is the weirdest.
The three year old and I were having such a great morning. We baked muffins and played. Now she I throwing a fit because she can't have anymore muffins. Nap time can't come soon enough.
Happy Saturday everyone! DH is out of town this weekend so it's just me and sassy Cassie. I'm going to a prenatal yoga workshop this afternoon so I'm pretty excited!
shoogars You are not a witch at all! Dealing with a sick husband is so rough. They can be so difficult when they aren't feeling well . Any idea when the ringing will stop?

+1 to this. I do softeners and laxatives. You go through enough already being pregnant. Being backed up makes it all feel worse. Also, hemorrhoids are the devil. Avoid them at all costs.
babyzebra, Target has some great tanks and plain t-shirts, I'm actually wearing one right now! They're pretty cheap, I'd definitely recommend!
Add me to those of you that have husbands out of town or working this weekend! DH worked until late last night (never saw DS), left at 5am to go to work and will get home late tonight, and has to work tomorrow. I'm thankful he still has a job right now though, although selfishly I'm bummed because as a stat at home Mom, I totally look forward to the break from DS on the weekends when my H is home to play with him and help. Also, we definitely need some family time! But, as I said, I'm thankful he didn't get laid off, so that's good.
DS and I had a busy morning to try to make the time pass. We went to gymnastics class, went to a coffee shop (DS watched the iPad and I got him a chocolate milk that I promised him), and then went to play at a park. We got home and played some more-I put him down for a late nap-I told my DH I would try my best to put him down late so that he could stay up later and get to see him tonight. Now I'm watching TV and eating leftover pizza!
