We cannot catch a break in our little family. DD spends her first 5 days of life in the NICU, my dad passed away last weekend, and now we are told DH's grandma won't survive the week. Although her passing is not unexpected, the timing of all this ridiculous.
DH has an interview for a new job on Friday. He really needs to get if for anything else, to turn the tables in our luck.
I'm so sorry you all are going through a rough time. I hope things get better and DH gets the job. I'm very sorry for the loss of your dad.
So I'm still pregnant (41+5), and I have a permanent red strip across my nose because of the breathe right strips I use at night. Question for those of you who had sinus/breathing issues while pregnant, did it go away right away? I don't remember having this issue last time, and I'd really love to stop snoring and start breathing normally again.
DS woke up last night at 1:30, and he fell back to sleep, but woke up every time I tried to sneak out of his room. I ended up having to stay in there the rest of the night, and thanks to pregnancy insomnia, I couldn't get back to sleep. I wish I could figure out how to make him sleep better.
Ok point me to these magical MAM binkies!! Please! L will occasionally take a soothie or an avent one but he is not a binky boy at this point. Mama needs him to take one so I can stop being his binky.

Wow my sickie bear just took a two hour nap and I didn't have to hold him! I had coffee (that was warm), I ate lunch (that was warm), and I got a workout in!!

Mine were gone within 7 days PP, including the lovely snoring I had developed during pregnancy.

Mine also disappeared immediately. It was like magic!

have the boba so I'm not sure how it differs . I make sure and tie it very tight. I do the newborn hold and the two strands of fabric you have that you tuck in the front need to be very tight and I double knot at the end to make it secure. Sometimes it takes a couple tries to get it right which stinks because taking him in and out can make him fussy. Then when I set him in I put him where his head is at my collar bone so when the natural flex of the material happens his head is at my heart.

There was a shirt at Kohls yesterday that said mommy's wingman. It was cute and I almost picked it up, but then I was like no... I have a husband I don't need a wing man. I thought then that it was kind of a strange shirt! I don't know that single men are attracted to women with little babies, lol.
I have 4 little bears, just like my name says. 2 girls 2 boys ages 8,5,3, and my newest babe. 2 of my little bears have life threatening food allergies, feel free to ask me more about that!

I love my Boba wrap! It works really well for keeping baby's high and supported while I'm trying to get things done. I couldn't imagine leaving the house without it
BabyStandish, how do you get LO to stay so high? I'm using the k'tan and I feel like 30 minutes in he's dropping, still secure but deg lower.
Side note, I officially never existed in j15
Your ktan might be too big for you. Maybe you don't have him tight enough in there? He shouldn't be moving, at all in it. What size did you buy? What size do you normally wear? Do you have the original, or the breeze? What carry are you using? Cradle, kangaroo?

Damn it, I think I have thrush in one of my nipples. Ironically the one that the baby latched on to the other week. Anyone had thrush before? I have burning in my breast, pink shiny nipple, and pain with anything that touches it including clothing.

I have the original, size extra large, I wore and 18 prior to pregnancy, and it's definitely tight when I put it on. I do find extra fabric under my armpit from the outside loop that I don't think should be there. Using the kangaroo hold.

Hmm. I'm normally a 14/16, and I had to size down in the original, instead of getting my recommend size. Is there a way you can try on a large in store, and if it works better, exchange the xl? The original stretches out. I have the breeze also, but bought a large, because it doesn't have as much stretch. If I had to bet, I bet you need a smaller size.

My k'tan has stretched out a little but the dictator is just barely 8 lbs so he's still on the smaller side for it to be used. I'm hoping as he gets a little bigger it will work better.
My daily challenge - I need to get stuff done around the house, but DS2 is too snuggly. Yesterday I put him in the baby carrier, and that worked well, but today I need to cook - hmmm.

I cook with my baby in the wrap. I'm just really careful around the oven and stove.
Finally got our new washer and dryer this morning. Now to tackle the 7 loads of laundry that have piled up since the dryer broke! Weirdly kind of excited since we haven't had a new set before
