Morning yall!
Much love to Saul, MEK, joelies, jodiann and all the other Mommas who need it. I hope this week goes well for you and everything falls into place as it should. I'm thinking of you.
I have work and then sushi tonight with my girls. Cherhorowitz- what do you usually get for sushi while on whole30? I'm planning on staying away from rice.
I had a dream about Cherhorowitz. All I remember is that we were eating out and they messed up our order.
I woke up with a sore throat and a stuffy nose. All I want to do is binge watch TV and snuggle. The likelihood of that happening is slim to none. Why can't DH work like his peers and have a clock out time? He started working before I got up yesterday and didn't come home until almost 9, well after B was already down. Someone call the whambulance for me.
finnaroo feel better soon! Maybe B will take a long nap and let you binge watch netflix
wedding that is a lot if poop! It's good he is getting it out at least. Beans & rice day has a similar effect on V, but I'll take it over her being constipated.
bettercallsaul good luck with tube surgery today - sending good vibes to you as well!
I just got off the phone with DH and he made me feel a bit better about yesterday. I was feeling pretty frustrated about the whole experience but as he put it, if my skills and experience and ideas aren't what they're looking for, it's for the best because I wouldn't be happy in the wrong role. I still feel like I'm letting people down though, and that I'm still going to be stuck in a dead end job with no real prospects, since there's no real growth in CT and like I said yesterday, I'm not relocating for another lateral move. I'm underpaid and overqualified as it is.
Anyway I have to finish my pitch for our US execs today and that's it for me. I'm the only internal candidate they are talking to, but there are a few external ones in the mix as well. So they'll be keeping me in the loop and that is that.
Sorry, not trying to sound like such a downer. I need to go get out for a run while I still have time. I'm not going to have another chance to run outside in beautiful weather for a long time.

Good luck to all the LOs today!! You will do great!! I missed a lot yesterday so big hugs and get better vibes to all that aren't feeling too hot. @mothereffer, I hope Si is doing better, do you know when you'll get some answers?
We had more snow today. They are calling for 4 inches just over the morning rush hour... But I still got to work at a decent time. My workout will be shoveling the drive way this afternoon!
Yesterday we took LO outside and he loved it! Walked all the way around the cul-de-sac! Slept pretty well last night too! No coughing!
JoeLies, I'm sure it went better than you think. Sometimes it's a good sign when the interviewer does most of the talking.
I'm in the office today for the first time in over 2 weeks. The train was super crowded, and I couldn't figure out why.....and then I remembered today is that Pats victory parade. I love the Pats, but why anyone would want to stand in the freezing cold and snow and slush for the parade is beyond me.
Guise, my commute was 5 1/2 hours yesterday because of snow. It's 2 hours round trip on a normal day. I almost cried and there was a moment I seriously contemplated peeing in a diaper because I had to go so bad. Life was perilous.
I home today so I can catch up on yesterday, but it sounds like bettercallsaul and @mx2 are due good luck (tubes today?) And jodiann25 I am sending you good vibes for your appointment. JoeLies I have not caught up on the results of the interview yet, but I am sure you were fantastic!
@wedding06, we do beans rice here every so often, and it is one of the messiest meals Josie eats, but she loves it. Kudos to your daycare for doing it with more than one kid.
So, yesterday, I only spoke to my OB for a few minutes because she was whisked away for a C-section, but the NP spent some time with me, but she didn't go over a lot of possibilities, so I went to Dr. Google. It sounds like the high levels of hCG can still be present after a miscarriage. That would make sense to me based on what I'm seeing. I feel like the NP gave me hope that I shouldn't have -- she even gave me the new parent folder with all of the information and magazines and coupons. I think that was going too far
I am just a bundle of nerves bc of it. I hate the limbo if not knowing. Staying in the house all day sounds torturous, but I don't think going out will help me because I can't stay focused on anything and that would make me a pretty distracted and dangerous driver. I might drive to the gym soon, put Josie in their daycare for an hour and sit in the restaurant and have a smoothie while playing on my phone. Then, it's Property Brothers and The Pioneer Woman on Netflix while Josie destroys our basement. I told my husband it's take out until we get a phone call. Cooking usually calms me down because it so methodical, but not this time. Moes for dinner!!
Good luck today @mx2 ! C will do great, but don't forget to clean her room while she and YH nap! Good luck to you as well, bettercallsaul ! Give your babies all the snuggles today!

Aw @jodiann don't google. I'm sorry this is going rough for you. I'm thinking of you and hope you get your answers soon. Don't assume anything yet. Hugs love.

Guster ((hugs)) catching up from yesterday. I had a miscarriage at 8 weeks and it took a week to stop turning pregnancy tests positive. Are they doing 2 blood tests to see if HCG is declining?

@mx2 I hope everything goes well!
JoeLies that interview sounds like it went really well!
wedding, we have to be careful with when M gets beans. If its anywhere close to dinner time she is up all night with gas. And crazy poops.
@mothereffer I hope you get some answers today!
Today is pretty low hey. The husband is working from home which means I can get more done bc we take turns watching M. I took M to her well check yesterday and am taking C to his 6 year well check today. I wish I was more organized and scheduled to take them both at the same time.

I just ate a cream cheese kolache. Then I started to eat what I thought was a grape one, then wondered if it was actually prunes and if they put prunes on kolaches, so I tossed it, just in case. I don't need those repercussions today.
I made beef & broccoli last night for dinner. At first Cadence said it was "mmmm" (her words) then she started violently waving "all done" and throwing rice. So I took her tray away and she just sat at the table. Then she decided she wanted to feed me my food with my fork. I think she cut my lip.

Hey everyone! I've been crazy busy with work and life and everything, so have not been able to be around much lately, so am trying to catch up. I know there are a few vaccine related threads and I have intentionally tried to stay away from them because I will get sucked in and pissed off and all riled up and be completely nonproductive in doing anything else.
@mx2 I hope C's tonsillectomy went well and was curative for her! All the popsicles and ice cream for her for the next week!
Glad surgery went well @mx2! Sounds like you made the right call if tonsils were huge. Hope tubes are going well for Saul Jodiann - hang in there, take out is a good idea. And lots of desserts.
@tgrimes J just started the blowing kisses the other day and last night my mom was doing hand motions for "if you're happy and you know it" and he did them back to her! This wonder week is pretty awesome...maybe this means we're nearing the end and we will sleep again? Not getting my hopes up..
I saw this article yesterday on facebook and it finally captures everything I've been stressing over about potentially changing jobs and planning for #2. I have read it three times and actually feel better about myself since I'm not going crazy worrying about maternity leave, flexibility, workload, FMLA, etc. The professional paralysis brought on by anticipated pregnancy can drag for years—not because women are less ambitious, but because they are navigating the culturally and politically crafted disadvantages of our social policies.
Thought you all may enjoy too, I never share articles on facebook, and I shared this one and all my professional mom and probably thinking about getting pregnant working friends loved it, and some dads too.
