After at least one of my 4-6 bathroom trips per night I have trouble going back to sleep. I'm jealous of you guys who are up with babies. Here I am in the middle of the night with just heartburn and DH snoring to keep me company.

Haha, agreed! Waking up without a LO to cuddle is way less fun! Is it bad I get mad BC HGTV starts showing infomercials from 4-6:30? Bathroom break number 3 for me.

Checking in with DS here. My dog chose this inopportune time to develop some sort of ear issue. Probably headed to the vet tomorrow to get it checked out.

Aw! Poor pup. Is he scratching it and shaking his head a lot? My pup had an ear infection a few months back. We tried to take care of it ourselves with ear washea, powder from petsmart, but in the end we had to get antibiotics. Just sucks to have to pay the vet fee when I knew exactly what I needed a script for!

BH every 5 mins for the last hour. I really need this kid to stay in another week so DH can start his job on Tuesday without an outside baby. Come on kiddo, get comfy in there!!
Why is it that all afternoon we have to do everything under the sun to wake LO up every 2 hours to feed, but at night, when she is allowed to go 3 she is up more than every 2 hours to feed.

DS decided to snack all night instead of actually eat a meal and nothing I did could wake him to keep eating so he woke up pretty much every hour for more. I am so so tired.

DH was up with DS every 3 hours. I am glad he is on leave because I do not have the patience for that boy right now with a newborn on the same schedule!

What was up with all the other kids being up last night? Apparently my toddler had multiple bad dreams while I was up nursing DS. H sleeps like a rock so he's no help. I hope all the kiddos have a better night tonight.

Yup. This LO definitely has days and nights backwards. In the afternoons we often struggle to wake her up for feeding and at nigh she gives me maybe 1.5 hours in between tops. She was so good all day, we had our best BF day yet and she was so perfect during her photography session. Now she just wants the boob.
I'm up... We are still trying to figure out little guys' schedule (slash he's still trying to make one) and so I set my alarm to get up at 1.... He's knocked OUT. I'm sitting here debating trying to get more sleep (to him just waking right up as soon as I lay down) and staying up until he stirs... (which would be him sleeping his longest spurt yet, with my luck.)

I tried so hard to get her to take the second side when she was up earlier. Nothing would work. Now of course she's up again screaming like she's starving.
Trust me she's not. She gained 11 ounces in 5 days.
M is so, so tired but won't fall asleep soundly. I am at a loss as to what to do, other than hold her and not sleep all night.
Stupid question. Have you tried swaddling? The Halo swaddle sacks are the only way we can get K to sleep for a decent stretch.
We do swaddle, although with arms out because she needs them by her face. She even fell asleep right after her diaper change, but I had to move her from the changing table to the bassinet and she got fussy.
