Also, my DD is getting her 2 year molars...excellent timing kid. I love you, but please stop screaming and sleep. Ibuprofen and hylands aren't touching it.
I know someone already mentioned it, but these uterine contractions are no joke the 2nd+ time around! Feels like I'm still in labor 60% of the time :/
I'm not looking forward to those. I've heard they're pretty bad. My midwife gave me an herbal tincture to take after to help. If my baby ever comes out...There's one called Afterease by wish garden I think you can find on Amazon. If you're into the herbal thing.

Thanks! Probably better than Tylenol at this point. I have to make an Amazon order anyway, so I will check it out later today

Yep. I'm in so much pain, mostly in my lower back. Maxing out the percocet....

Sorry for being MIA lately ladies. I tried to take a little break from the interwebz, etc. to see if that would help my sanity. It didn't. Anywho, so many babes are outside now, wow!
I'm running on 2 hours of sleep right now. Not sure if I should try again or just run on E and wait for my second wind to kick in. DST threw DD1 off & the twins are going through some insane growth spurt apparently because they are eating non-stop. I'm in survival mode right now, big time. And poor H has put up with so much bitchiness the last few days. I feel bad but can't seem to stop either.

Did you have them the first time? I didn't so I'm terrified of what to expect lol. I'm pretty sure the reason I didn't was they had me hooked up to low dose pitocin over night after because I had too much bleeding.

I don't remember them at all the first time. This time it's literally like having timeable contractions from back to front. I took Tylenol yesterday and it barely took the edge off :/

In the hospital, I dreaded nursing DS because of the uterine contractions. Like everyone else has said, the nurse told me the second time around, the uterus is working harder so they're much stronger. Fortunately, they didn't seem to last long ... maybe less than a week.
Married since 2010 DX w/PCOS in Feb 2011 Five cycles w/Letrozole+TI+IUI BFP w/injects+IUI in 2012 DD born May 2013 NTNP since 2015 Early miscarriage March 2015 TTA April/May BFP June! DS born February 2016
Definitely not looking forward to the uterine contractions the third time around. They really were much worse the second time, what will it be like now???
I feel like with the cramping/random pains I keep feeling, I'm not going to know I'm actually in labor unless my water breaks in a massive gush of fluid.

This. I keep having pretty gnarly cramps and dh keeps asking if I'm in labor. I don't effing know! I'd like to be but they either subside or don't build like contractions should so I don't know what the hell is going on. I'm gonna end up being one of those people who has her baby on the toilet because I mistake contractions for intestinal cramps!

+1 even the way this baby moves sometimes feels like a contraction. Almost my entire uterus gets hard, it hurts and my heart rate changes, but I think it is baby. I hope I'll just feel a contraction and be like "oh! That's it!".

After a change in plans at yesterday's appointment, I decided to stick with the plan of starting my maternity leave today. So of course it makes sense that I wake up and can't breathe and my head feels like it's going to explode. Seriously, body? You're supposed to be working on getting this baby out, NOT getting sick!
Ok the newborn photographer is a baby whisper, seriously. Also her "real job" is a nurse at pediatric oncology so basically she is an angel.
Also our stroller came and H put it together in literally 2 minutes, including the adapter for the car seat of a different brand. It was seriously impressive.

I don't remember being that bad the 4th time around. Every baby/pregnancy/postpartum is different!

This! They were terrible the first couple days and to be honest I think after the 3rd day they pretty much stopped. Now at 7 days the only discomfort I have is from his work in progress latch on the left side.
