Lol, my UO is that I love my mini-minivan (Mazda5) and don't care that I drive a mom car! It also makes me feel sporty, although I'm probably the only one thinking that.
I'm not sure if I've mentioned this before, but it's definitely unpopular, so I'll share again. I have absolutely no problem with people touching my belly. Several people do it each day. I think it's their way of saying hi to and acknowledging my baby.

My car-related UO is that I hate SUVs, minivans, trucks, and anything else large. The smaller the car the more I like it. I like my cars fast, maneuverable, fuel-efficient, and easy to parallel park.

Having to pack DS for a 10+ hour car trip 2-3 times a year has changed my opinion on this.

That's what everyone keeps telling me... but I'm a stubborn minimalist. My parents packed me and my sister and everything we needed into a 2-door Chevy for road trips all the time when I was a kid, so I know it must be possible.

It is totally possible, just frustrating, IMO. Adding another little to the mix is going to be interesting. I don't know that we will have enough leg room in our Focus with two car seats in the back.

Yeah, check back with me in a few years and I may feel the same way! We have a Honda Civic, which seems really roomy to me. We had a Focus before that, but it was a 2-door and I'm glad we don't still have it! DH is already fantasizing about an upgrade, especially if we need to get a second car. Of course, he's from Texas, where everything is bigger
I want a minivan mostly because I want 1 or 2 more kids after this one (maybe). Everyone I know who has 3+ kids raves about how nice it is for the older ones to be able to easily get to the back row of a minivan.

I have sedan and it will still be fine with two kids. I don't want extra room to drag other people or their kids around. No mini van for me.
I love minivans and totally want one. I guess another unpopular opinion is that I would love to have four kids, but right now I only have one, so maybe after #2 or #3 I'll be like, "Uhh...no way!"
Any fourth time Moms on this board?! I know we have a couple having #3.

I'm having #3 and #4! I always wanted 4 kids so just lucky two of them decided to come at the same time I guess I love life with 2 kids and am looking forward to the chaos that I'm sure will be 4u4.
txmommy14, I'll be done after 2, but my sister is currently expecting her 4th so she'll have 4 under 5 in June. Let's just say her house is always chaotic, but she (mostly) loves it!

I don't have a problem with it either. I mean if it's a bum on the street don't touch me, but if I even casually know you I really don't care!

Me too (I feel like I say that a lot with what you post)! I don't think DH would be on board with 4, but I'm slowly inching closer to convincing him that it would be great to have 3! Being a mom is so intoxicating and I think I'm going to love it even more as they get older.
I also want to know how it goes twobananas! I'm secretly very jealous of you!

If you'd asked me how many kids I wanted anytime until a few months ago I would have firmly said two. But now I want four! And I haven't even had one yet! Fortunately for my H (and probably my sanity too) having my first at 38 makes the prospect of having 2 a bit iffy, let alone more
I only want two, but I am one of four kids. My friends always said our house was the most fun because it was constant chaos I have fond memories of growing up in a house full of people and pets. That said, I have never felt the temptation to be the parent in that scenario. One thing after another!
I wish DH would go ahead and get his vasectomy. If you would have told me 7 months ago that I would be thinking that - I would have thought you were insane. I was pretty sure we would eventually throw caution to the wind and go for a third. But nope, I'm done after this one.
The flameful part is that I know it needs to be a more thoughtful decision bc it's one of those forever things... But right now, I DGAF, and I don't want to deal with birth control after this one is born.
I think we might be one and done. That's pretty unpopular with my husbands family.
This makes me sad somehow. Like maybe they'll miss the fun of the babyhood they'll get because they're pushing for more. Why people gotta push?
Afm, I think I'd like 3-4, but I am definitely on board with a wait-and-see and won't promise I won't end with 2 or even 5. If we adopt, we'll probably go for four, because I'd like the bio and adopted kids to be pretty evenly split. Especially if our adopted child were a different race--I would like them to have a same-race sibling.
We're thinking two and through. So this is my last
I'm definitely done after this one. I love DD more than the world, but DH and are both really set with only having one more. We'll take permanent measures after this birth to ensure that.

DH practically wanted to run for the vasectomy before my pee stick dried. I did manage to delay him until after she's born.

Jeeeeeaaaaaalous. DH wants to wait 3-4 years before we do something permanent. Grumble grumble grumble.
Flair Underwood, that's our plan too. We've always been set on having two kids, so once this little guy arrives safe and sound, we'll start looking into permanent options.
Of course, we've already had family ask "well don't you want to try for a girl?!?!" so I think a bunch of people assume we'll go for a 3rd.
