I've actually never had a conversation with my H about long-term birth control options. I guess I've always assumed that we're so old we don't need to worry about that. Of course that's not true... I think he'd probably freak out at the idea of a vasectomy though. The poor man is so squeamish he can't even get blood drawn. We'll probably start trying for #2 ASAP though, so this topic won't be on the table for a while.

I hate when people say perfect when they find out we are expecting a girl and assume we are done because we will have a boy and a girl. I'm 99% sure we are done but would it not be perfect if we had another boy? It just irks me.

Same here, what is with people and the response "that's perfect!"
We always thought 3 kids but are calling ourselves a one at a time family. We're already wondering if we're done, but we decided we can at least wait and see. Pregnancy is not super hard for me but I'm over it, and it's hard to imagine doing it with two kids. It's also difficult to imagine TTC again.

We are definitely done after 2. MIL thinks we need a third because we will have 2 boys and she always regretted not having a third that would have magically been a girl. Having the second was a decision and took us almost 4 years to decide.
It also bothers me when people act like it's more exciting that we are having a girl this time. I'm super excited, but two boys would have been super exciting too!
This sounds terrible, but I also seem to have several friends who really prefer girls and were SO relieved to find out they were having a girl (or a second girl). It annoys me. It also makes me so sad because I absolutely love having a boy. I will embarrassingly admit I had some gender disappointment at first that DS was a boy...but man was that silly (and I got over it immediately and didn't even know I had a preference), because he's the best. I can't imagine how sad it would be to be any other way.
I know everyone loves their second child just as much, but I'm nervous about loving her as much as i love him. I guess that's probably a common fear rather than UO though!

DH and I have talked about it a little bit. I think he would be totally okay with being done after the twins, but I don't know how I'll feel yet. I think that it's hard for me to imagine only ever having one pregnancy. Idk. I do know that I'll go back on BCP after they're born, and if we do go for a third, it will likely not be for awhile, maybe when the twins are 3 or so.

Olives are disgusting. Don't expect me to just pick them off my salad either because the olive juice makes the whole salad inedible. I tried to tolerate them, I just can't.

Okay I complimented everyone else earlier but you are NOT my friend!
(j/k)
But seriously, olives are one of the best foods on the planet. I would live off of olives, cheese, good fresh bread, and chocolate. And wine, don't forget the wine.

My feelings in the matter:
licorice - HATE, definitely. I want to vomit just thinking about it and anything that vaguely reminds me of it including anise, fennel, etc. cilantro - LOVE, in moderation mayonnaise - LOVE blue cheese - LOVE Marmite or Vegemite - LOVE brussel sprouts - LOVE anchovies/sardines/etc - HATE oysters - HATE. Slimy and flavorless. I have no idea why these appeal to anyone.
licorice - hate cilantro - hate mayonnaise - love (in small quantities) blue cheese - depends, love on wedge salad or with steak, otherwise hate Marmite or Vegemite - hate brussel sprouts - love anchovies/sardines/etc - hate oysters - hate
Okay, let me see if I can create more food-related controversy! Let's hear LOVE vs. HATE for the following:
licorice - hate with a passion. I agree that fennel and anise remind me of it and I have a hard time eating those things too. cilantro - like, but def in moderation or it can me overpowering. mayo - one of the best condiments in the world. I have extra mayo on my sandwiches. I also like it on my burgers, cheesesteaks, and fries. blue cheese - love it. DH made me blue cheese scrambled eggs for breakfast this morning. Marmite or Vegemite - never had it before (or even heard of it actually) brussel sprouts - not a fan. I eat them if they're on the menu, but they always taste burnt. anchovies/sardines/etc - absolutely not. yuck. oysters -Not unless they're grilled. I generally don't eat (raw) oysters, but I had grilled oysters with garlic and butter in New Orleans last summer and they were delicious.

We have to start somewhere, and if it's food-related UOs, so be it.
licorice - like the red kind, hate the black kind cilantro - LOVE mayonnaise - like blue cheese - like Marmite or Vegemite - never had? brussel sprouts - LOVE anchovies/sardines/etc - no, but I understand anchovy often provides that je ne sais quoi in certain recipes, which I'm all for oysters - gross
