licorice- YUM! Black jelly beans are my jam! cilantro- YUCK YUCK YUCK YUCK GAG GAG GAG mayonnaise- fine on stuff like burgers and sandwiches blue cheese- yum! Marmite or Vegemite- never had it brussel sprouts- favorite vegatable hands down anchovies/sardines/etc- no thanks unless in homemade Caesar dressing. oysters- never had them
licorice - Blech. Anise is also a big no. cilantro - hate, so much. mayonnaise - Good stuff. When I'm feeling especially "I don't care about being healthy at all" I'll eat french fries with mayo and ketchup. blue cheese - I've been known to eat it, but I'm not a big fan. Marmite or Vegemite - I've tried it, didn't see the appeal. brussel sprouts - love them roasted. anchovies/sardines/etc - not a big fan, don't violently hate them. oysters - I've tried raw oysters and they weren't as bad as they looked... But the texture doesn't do it for me.
My addition to the list is raisins. Can't stand them.
OMG I can't handle all the raw oyster hate! They are so delicious!
As for the rest:
licorice - meh. cilantro - love mayonnaise - Gross blue cheese - delicious Marmite or Vegemite - Never had it! brussel sprouts - in small doses usually covered in a sauce anchovies/sardines/etc - LOVE oysters - See above... I like them raw the best, but oyster po'boys are also delicious.

I feel like I need to introduce you all to Marmite! It's one of my favorite things in the world, always spread on fresh crusty white bread with loads of butter...
It's a traditional British food and my parents are Brits which is why I was raised on it. Vegemite is similar but comes from Australia. It's a thick, very salty, very strong paste that is made from vegetables and yeast. It's an acquired taste and has a distinctive smell. It's famous in Britain for inspiring love/hate controversies.

Mayo is absolutely disgusting. The worst thing ever. I will not eat a dish that has even a teaspoon of mayo in it. I won't eat creamy dressings because I'm afraid of the possible mayo contents. Just no.
@cheeze them is fightin words! Lol not really that just means more pickles for me!!! Pickles are amazing! Not a fan or bread and butter ones. Love fried pickles but only the spear ones. The chips are too much batter to pickle ratio. My coworker and I order a bacon cheeseburger pizza with extra pickles! Yummmo
Licorice- really like it, i especially LOVE black jelly beans
Cilantro- Amazing, the more the better. My biggest pet peeve with Chipotle is how it isn't an option to add to your burrito. How do they have cilantro lime rice but no actual cilantro??
Mayonnaise-delicious. I like dipping fries in it.
Blue cheese- the best part of a salad with Italian dressing
Marmite- never had it, probably never will
Brussels sprouts- delicious- roasted with olive oil, salt and pepper
licorice - Black licorice makes me gag. Red licorice is ok but not my favorite. cilantro - I don't mind it mayonnaise - Non-pg, I'll take it or leave it. This pregnancy, I've wanted mayo which is really weird to me. blue cheese - Not a fan unless I'm eating buffalo wings Marmite or Vegemite - I had Vegemite once and wasn't a big fan brussel sprouts - If they're prepared well, absolutely! Most of the time though people turn them into nasty piles of smelly mush. anchovies/sardines/etc - Hard pass oysters - The texture kills me, which makes my seafood restaurant-owning family shake their heads
As for pickles, give me ALL the pickles! Dill, bread and butter, fried...yum!
vivela, I've always said raisins taste like a headache... it doesn't make sense out loud, but it's how I feel.
I get you on the irrational associations! According to my mother, I loved raisins as a kid. Then when I was about two, I got hit by a bad stomach flu one day shortly after polishing off a box of them and refused to ever touch them again.
This is probably a food UO... I hate fruit in my savoury food. I like fruit, but usually only raw and on its own (or with other fruit and some desserts). I will never understand things like apples in salad or pineapple sauce on chicken, etc.
