I think I'm going to be a little sad when I have to start wearing real jeans again after having these babies. My maternity jeans are sooooo comfy and I love them. I think they're all Gap.
I just don't even understand this at all. I'm jealous, at least. My gap jeans are not this kind to me.
I wish I could wear skinny jeans, but these thick thighs do not look good in them. I wear boot cut or I have some slim fit ones that look good with boots and aren't as snug as skinny jeans.
Flair Underwood, I can't believe some people are such assholes! I had a woman at the lab today ask me how far along I was. When I told her that I was 30 weeks, her eyes got wide and she said, "Wow. You're so big." I said, "Thanks," sarcastically and she quickly replied, "You look good, though." I didn't say anything back and just ignored her. I'm no longer going to be polite to people when they say stupid things. I just can't do it anymore.
I know it's really late in the game but I just made my first baby purchase and I am overly excited about it! I wanted a coming home outfit but they had nothing in newborn size so the blanket will have to do for now.

I'm sorry! I wish you could experience the comfiness. Are yours full-panel, low-panel, or the side-panel? (Mine are full)

I am so with frecklesnbrains -skinny jeans are not a fashion I enjoy. Lots of ladies look fab in them, but on my big booty I look like a lightbulb. I need a flair/boot cut to balance myself out.
I am short. My biggest problem isn't what style it's what brand. I like all styles (skinny, Capri, boot cut) but I have yet to find a pair of pants that fits me right. Regular is too long, petite is too short. Old navy short jeans are the perfect length and super cheap but I get saggy butt after about an hour. Capris can pass for skinny pants if I wear boots.
I feel ya there. I'm 5'10" so most average are too short and longs are too long. I always say I'm average and a half.
Uh oh, so one of my coworkers is getting married later this year. She asked another coworker to be a bridesmaid a while back, but they haven't seen eye to eye on things lately and she's going to ask her to step down. This...is not going to end well.

Amazon is having a lightening deal on a camping tent so I bought it. I'm debating if we try to go before or after baby comes this summer, but haven't even talked to DH about it yet! We went last summer and DS loved it, but we only have a small 2-3 person dome tent and it was pretty tight so the lightening deal seemed like a good idea.
So I just got back from my sonogram and it didn't go great but I'm not overly concerned either. The reason they brought me in was because she dropped from the 50th to the 27th percentile so they wanted to recheck to make sure it wasn't trending down. Today it was at 14%. So, they want me to come back for another sonogram in 3 weeks and possibly go back to the specialist. They said it could be nothing, or there could be something restricting her growth in which case I'd deliver at around 37 weeks. So, I'm not sure what to think. I go back in 2 weeks for a regular appointment and basically start seeing her every week after that!
It's also weird that she's measuring so small since I've gained 30 pounds now, but she said baby size and your weight usually don't necessarily correlate.
txmommy14 I hope it ends up being nothing. Was your DS a small baby?
No! He was 8 pounds. I feel a little worried about that and that she had the cysts. But I need to stay off of Google. Freckles, you have any input? If she had Turner's syndrome, would they have caught that with all of my other sonograms?
Sorry to hear you got stressful news, txmommy14. Hopefully she puts on some weight for next time and it is nothing to worry about. Definitely stay away from the Google (not that I ever take that advice myself).
I went to the dentist yesterday. I was remembering my dentist visits as a kid. I don't know if it was because of how the chair was set up there, or my hygienist's preference, but when she cleaned my teeth she would end up hanging directly over me. As a result, I could see what she was doing reflected in her safety glasses and I'd watch her clean my teeth (for lack of anything else to look at). It wasn't until years later that I realized that from her perspective, it probably just looked like I was staring into her eyes the ENTIRE time she was cleaning my teeth. I probably had some nickname around the office like "creepy eye contact kid". My current hygienist doesn't lean over me so I can't see anything. Definitely more boring.
Team skinny jeans. I am not skinny, but I'm short and bootcut makes me look stumpy. Some good skinny jeans and calf-high boots are basically my lower half uniform in winter.
txmommy14, praying that it's nothing to worry about and that she's just going to be on the smaller side. Someone on CAR is going through something very similar right now based on her recent growth scans (I'm pretty sure it was KirstenAlecia but don't quote me on that because my memory is terrible!) so she may be a good one to chat with. Sending positive thoughts your way!!
txmommy14 I hope it turns out to be nothing but bad measurements. They aren't always good at determining baby size so I'm hoping that is just the case!

I brought DD home from the hospital in a one piece outfit with this exact pattern. I just came across it when I was getting the baby stuff ready for this little one. I loved that outfit and it was so so tiny!
