We took our first road trip with the baby. We only had two meltdowns, which I consider a victory. He pretty much slept the whole way. Of course, now he is all confused and our tenuous routine is gone.

This week has sucked. I don't know why but im not dealing well with the messed up sleep schedule. I've barely been on here because im functioning on like 30% brain power. Ugh.
Got a 4.5 hour stretch of sleep, fed and got C back down in a half hour. Climbed into bed and C started stirring and had a huge blow out. Now we are watching Grey's because she's all big eyes and dancing limbs!

I watched 5 episodes of Grey's yesterday. 5. I'm newly addicted and C was cluster feeding. Win win.
(Side note: when I type "cluster" into my phone it suggests "bombs" as the next word. Lol)
I tried pumping for the first time today after LOs morning feeding and now she has been a psycho all day. It's like she knows something else touched her milk. She just needs to sleep for more than 20 min at a time and I know that will hit the reset button. Why won't you sleep?!?!

DH is getting orders for Hawaii in December. Moving my family of 5, plus the dog, across the world sounds very not fun. Mostly a logistical nightmare. I'm scared!

But Hawaii. I'll go in your place if you don't want to go.
My LO will be six weeks on Tuesday and is still rocking newborn clothes. We don't have a lot of newborn clothes because they're usually not in that size for long but she's a peanut and wears the same stuff all the time. I'm ready for her to move to the next size!
She was 5.15 at birth and 7.13 at her one month appointment last Friday.
sctiger - same. LO was 7 lbs 4 ozs at 5w, but she's 21.5 inches long so she's starting to bust out. Trying to use up my last newborn diapers too. Love Size 1s at night though. I think that's part of the reason we're getting a 5-6 hour stretch now.
Anyone tried the pulling the dirty onesie down instead of over the head trick? I had seen it posted somewhere before I was pregnant and now I've been putting it to good use. Total game changer.

mom2boxers and sctiger, on the other hand, my LO was smallish (6.12, but 20 in long at birth), but now at almost 6weeks, she's over 9lb and almost 21.5 in, and I'm a little sad to leave her NB clothes behind! Time is passing so fast!

Only way I take them off even if we don't have a blow up. Both kids liked it better than yanking it over their heads.

Haha. Hawaii will be interesting for a couple years. I just fear getting us all there and back lol. It's a lot of air time with 3 littles.

As someone who is about to go on my first air trip with 2 I am terrified for you. Doesn't the military have planes with inflatable bouncehouses they can transport you all in??

Too bad sedating your children is frowned upon. But drinking on a plane is encouraged so there is hope.

Oh my god. ILs asked me to come over at 11:30. I wanted to come earlier when the baby was awake but they were out. Got here and MIL is on the phone. She is still on the phone. FIL is now on the other phone. So here I sit staring at my sleeping baby and listening to the lamp timer click. This is hell.

@pugsandwine Did you end up getting your pictures back? It's over 2 weeks now and I'm waiting on mine, and a response to the message I sent my photographer on Wednesday She has given me nothing... not even a teaser!

NOPE. I'm pissed. Miles is now 4 weeks and no proof gallery. We got his shots taken at 9 days.

J is SO CRANKY today. Good grief. She doesn't want to be put down, she doesn't want to eat when I think she's hungry, she doesn't want her wubbanub. All she wants is to be held and she's passed out in my arms. But as soon as I lay her down, CRY CRY CRY.

I could have written this! How old is your DD? My first was like this from weeks 3-6, so I've just accepted that I will be holding my little guy for at least the next three weeks!
