I had my OB appt today! I kept my kid from getting in the garbage while I peed in a cup. Heartbeat is good. I got thank you cards mailed out from Ks birthday. Laundry is done and I have work tonight. Not exactly awesome, but no huge complaints.

I got up early worked out and made it to the lab on time for the blood draw for the glucose test. I also ate a peanut butter egg for a mid morning snack. So i cant complain today.
H text me this morning saying he was going to be stopping home in between his two shifts and asked how long it takes to make an egg sandwich. I text him back "What sort of egg sandwich? Breastfeeding egg or egg salad?" Totally meant to type breakfast! I've been cracking up over here for several minutes over the typo haha
I had a good OB appointment yesterday and I was discharged from PT this morning a week early!
My OB says my abdomen has room for 3 more weeks' of vertical growth before it all starts growing outward which also means only 3 more weeks of getting to use my full lung capacity for a while, lol.
Midwife appointment went really well yesterday. I've been rotating through them and I think I found the one I'll stick with. I like her a lot.
I was overweight pre pregnancy and I wanted to keep my weight gain to a healthy minimum. So far I've gained one pound and she said that everything is good. I'm happy with that!

What did he say back to that? Lol!
"OMG ew" haha! I can't stop picturing in my head what a breastfeeding egg would be now. Would it be breastfeeding something, or is it the one being breastfed?
Oh. I also managed to nab a Dymo 4xl for $120. They're usually $300 and they were sold out everywhere. It's a label printer for when you're mass mailing shipping.
Still on a high from my alma mater Villanova's win Monday night! And DS hasn't popped in his pants or on the floor today (yet). Pee is going perfectly, but he's struggling with poop (Monday was a disaster). Hoping he makes it to the toilet next time. But life is good so far today!
DD caught onto peeing in the potty, but poop took a couple weeks. He'll get there. Potty training while pregnant is cruel and unusual punishment though, you can't even drink wine to get through it!
rungirlrun FX that he gets down pooping in the toilet soon! I've got no personal experience with potty training but I've heard that poop takes longer to figure out than pee. Woohoo to not having any accidents yet today though, very excited for you! Hopefully he keeps it up

I feel like even if you didn't care at all about either team, you can't deny that game was one of the best tournament finals!
And yeah, between DS going through a terrible 2 phase during 1st tri and now potty training, I'm due for several cases of alcohol once this baby comes out!

Haha I was thinking an egg made of out breast milk!

I need your inspiration. I decided to wait til fall to start potty training. Ds will be 2.5. He learned the word poo today. That's a positive step right? Hahaha
We are starting potty training Friday, hold me....
I took a lunch break to go to Target and got a couple things for the baby/ baby room. Downside= H is going to kill me when he sees how much I spent. #stillnofucksgiven
TnT10, lostinfaith225, while it's been exhausting, potty training is nowhere near as bad as I imagined (I thought my entire house would be covered in poop and pee). It's just much less convenient and much more work than diapers. We are still very much only using a little potty, and I carry the travel one around whenever we leave the house (DS has no problem plopping down on it in the middle of the playground!). I can't say I'm loving life this week, but I know it won't be any easier with a baby around so sucking it up now. Good luck!

Thanks rungirlrun! It sounds like he's doing great! I will be picking your brain!
I may try before the baby, but the big goal this month is transitioning from his crib to big boy bed. Once our carpet is installed, that's my next move. One change at a time I guess.
lostinfaith225, one change at a time is more than enough. That's what we are doing - just started a few months ago. Big boy bed in Jan, Feb lost the high chair, now potty training, moving in June, new baby in July, preschool in September. I'd lose my mind if I had to do all of those changes in just a few months - kids are so resilient and awesome. I need to remember to give DS more credit!
And I was dreading losing the crib, but it also wasn't as bad as I expected. Just 2-3 very rough days that kept getting easier. Hope you have a good experience too!
I got cheesecake today so I'll call that a win for the day!
I'm planning on trying to potty train DD in the next couple of weeks. My DS was super easy to potty train and I'm dreading it for DD because I know she's going to be a stinker. All I have to say is I think the potty training books for the kids really help. It's the only reason my DD is interested in underwear, lol.
