I was rudely awaken this morning at 4:30 with a leg cramp. Ouch! Dh comes home today and I'm going to get my hair done. Mama needs to feel pretty. I'm leaving for a work trip next week so I need to meal plan for dh and go shopping for all the ingredients. Anyone have a good freezer recipe to share (non crockpot)?
Sorry for the leg cramp mladerri. I've gotten in such a habit of pointing my toes up as soon as I wake up to try to prevent those cramps. They're the worst! Have fun getting your hair done! Most of my freezer meals are crockpot, but I do sometimes make ahead lasagna and tuna casserole. I put them in those tin baking dishes, so I don't take up a casserole dish for too long.
I actually slept all night without having to get up and take Tums!! I feel like a new woman.
Last night I dug out my baby album and the small amount of DH's baby pictures that we have. It was fun to imagine what these babies will look like and we got some good laughs at all the hot 90s fashion going on in the pics.
I haven't had the Charlie horses/leg cramps yet this pregnancy but you guys just reminded me of that! I had it at the end of my pregnancy with DS, so painful! I wonder what causes them? I do drink a hot magnesium drink a few times a week now, which maybe has helped?

H and I did the same thing with our baby pictures, except replace "90s" with "70s". I was in high school in the 90s. Thanks for making me feel old! Love ya anyway, labor buddy
Good morning ladies! I'm sitting at the lab right now waiting for a urinalysis because I had protein again at my on appt yesterday so I'm now being monitored for pre-eclampsia. My bp was fine so I'm hoping it's nothing to worry about!
Baby boy just did a huge roll and my whole belly shifted and I caught a lady looking at me in horror from across the waiting room! LOL

Hehe, oops! I guess I should have said 80s/90s fashion since DH and I were born right at the end/beginning there. I'm probably digging myself a bigger hole here... but oh man! I bet some of the 70s facial hair was pretty epic!
Good luck with your testing, soultrane! I hope things come back normal! In laws are visiting for the weekend. They are staying in a hotel, fortunately. So I'm enjoying some quiet time before we meet for lunch later. Last night actually went pretty well. Hopefully tonight is a repeat of that... They are nice people but can drive us totally nuts. Today there was talk of helping set up the crib, which would be very nice.
Oh gosh, I had a cramp in my calf two nights ago where I couldn't even move my leg. It's still sore today.
I'm spending the day doing laundry, and I cleaned out our dining room hutch. I want to go look at Burlington Coat Factory for a few more maternity things.
DS had his first soccer game of the season this morning and was a lost puppy out there, but he had fun! He's the youngest by 6 months at 4.25 and there were mostly 6 year olds on the other team. They looked huge!! One kid was a week shy of 7! DS had a blast and it was really cute.
I thought I was being kind of ambitious taking DS to the zoo today, but then at the last minute I ended up taking my 4 year old nephew too because my sister got sick. We just got back and I'm exhausted and holy hip pain. Luckily, both boys were mostly well behaved and we had a great time. We spent lots of time going potty between the 3 of us!

Ladies, get thee to a pool. We took DD swimming today, and I did not realize how great it would feel for me. Moving my legs and arms that much, feeling weightless at this stage--not to be taken for granted.

We have a pool, and as soon as it's opened I plan on spending a lot of time in there...especially come June toward the end. Now it needs to warm up and the snow needs to stop!
I had to go bra shopping again. I better be able to breastfeed because I'm going to be super pissed if these things are huge for no reason. Anyone know if cheaper bras that go up to 34G exist?
Also I think I officially went from the feeling pretty good to feeling like I look huge stage. Too bad there's another 10 or so weeks left...
I've been trying to pick up the house, but bending over is so uncomfortable. However, I have discovered that DD's trash grabber is perfect for picking up toys (it's never been used for trash). It has seriously made cleaning so much easier!
Thanks, everyone! I ended up having to wait an hour and a half and felt like I was floating by the time they called me back - had no problem filling up that cup! I'm assuming my doc will call early in the week to let me know the results.
shoogars, that is brilliant! I just use DS as my picker upper now. He thinks it's funny that I can't bend down to reach things, so as long as he thinks it's a game I'm going to go with it!
