Someone tell me that at 31 weeks pregnant I do not need to buy any more maternity clothes. Especially because I already have plenty.
Although it is getting warmer and new things will make me feel pretty and less gigantic, right?
PSA apparently old navy is having 30% off and free shipping. And motherhood has buy 4 get 1 free plus a coupon for 30 off 75
I constantly want more clothes, too. I get ao tired of wearing them so quickly and always thing something new will look better. Sales are hard to resist.

babyzebra I haven't tried it yet but I've heard that facing boys backwards on the seat causes them to lean forward and grab the lid thus causing them to point down. I'm waiting until after 2.0 arrives to really start potty training, if he asks we take him but there's no forcing of it going on.
DS was up before 5am but he's now been napping for an hour. I've been able to eat lunch and watch some Netflix in peace and quiet. Sadly DH got called into work today even though he worked a 12 overnight last night so we will just be chilling at home all day.
The shower was amazing yesterday! I felt so loved! My sister and mom worked so hard to make it so special. My friend took most of the pics so I will post some when she sends them to me!
babyzebra, I am so impressed you are tackling potty training already! Our pediatrician told us the average age for boys is 39 months (whoah!!!), so needless to say, I am going to wait until a few months after baby is born to even think about it. I am sure I should be doing some things to give him the idea right now though. I'm not sure whether to buy a potty or a seat you attach to the toilet-kind of overwhelmed thinking about any of that!
I am really feeling the exhaustion of 3rd trimester suddenly. We were out of town all day yesterday and today has been nonstop-church (taking care of 10 babies in the nursery) and then weekly grocery shopping at 3 stores. Then I watered the plants and I want to cry thinking about DS waking up soon because I am so exhausted (and we have to leave for something we are going to at church tonight in about an hour). I'm just so. tired. Need to do laundry and other household chores too, but those can wait. I can be kind of obsessive about keeping the house picked up and cleaning, so I just need to let that go!!
txmommy14 sorry about the exhaustion. I think I definitely overdid it this weekend and am feeling the effects too. Not too much longer though! We're definitely not potty training yet because I don't think DS is ready (and I don't want to deal with a regression when DD is born anyway). We have a potty seat that DS sits on about once a day, but he's never done anything on there until today. I doubt there will be a repeat performance any time soon.
babyzebra, Good to know! I may try to get one just so he gets used to seeing it, even if we don't use it for 6 months, haha! I know, I keep telling myself the same thing-we are really in the home stretch-even though exhaustion won't go away with a newborn!
We needed the productive weekend! Planted a new tree and after nap will be putting together the twin bed for DD and then moving the crib to the baby room. I have walked a ton this weekend and have enjoyed the weather. Also got a lot of studying done.
I filed our taxes and put together the new car seat. I'm feeling like I'm making progress!
We are having 1000sf of tile and carpet torn out next week and having it replaced with hardwood. It's going to wreck our house and making it a complete disaster zone. We thought renovation at 33 weeks pregnant would be an awesome idea. Thankfully, we've hired out all the work... But having this huge event hanging over my head is really stressing me out.

For those pt, what worked for us was peer pressure at school. Once he moved to the 2 yo room, they had them try myltiple times a day. Then one of his bestirs went to underwear around 2.5 and DS was hooked and wanted to be big like bestie. So we switched him and he was totally trained at almost 2.75. We had a cars seat that sat on top of the toilet at home and it came with a stool and splash guard so it was actually pretty clean for us! We switched to underwear one Friday evening and never went back. He had one accident that weekend but was clear after that. It made me a believer in the theory that they're ready when they decide.

DH has worked most of the weekend so after soccer I took DS to a local kids amusement park for a few hours then came home and played. This morning we went to church and now DS and I are playing more at home. We just sat down on the couch to take a break and are watching some tv. I did manage to check the car seat expiration and it looks like we are all good!! We will just need to get DS a booster since he's outgrowing the harness height on the britax boulevard in my car. We are getting the new one with the completion discount from Amazon and are going for the highest harness height possible since he's nowhere near mature enough for a regular seat belt with a small booster yet even though he's big enough.
ETA. For those looking for a long lasting car seat the Diono radian in dHs truck has tons of room for DS to grow still. It just didn't fit rear facing in my car and DS was rf until 2.25.

Guys I think I have PUPPs :-(
I have this rash that's slowly appeared over the last three days and it itches so bad!!! Now to decide if I should email my dr about it or just wait until I see him on Wednesday.

lakecountrygal, ack! Is it mostly confined to your legs/thighs/abdomen? PUPPS is usually just a legs/lower abdomen thing. if it's really everywhere, I'd send an e-mail. GL!
sandandsea I'm hoping that peer pressure will eventually do the trick for us too! And BTW, I love the Diono Radian. That thing is a beast front-to-back when it's rear facing, but so narrow! I can always fit 2 Radians and a high back booster side by side when I drive my niece and nephew around with DS. I love that thing!

Thanks ladies!! I'll send it once DS is in bed.
It's just on the upper part of my belly right now, but that's also where my biggest stretch marks are and from what I read it starts by your stretch marks. Thankfully the vitamin e lotion helps for periods of time.
