I love watching gymnastics, diving, and weight lifting. I did gymnastics growing up, diving in highschool, and since I crossfit I do some form of weight lifting. I always enjoy rowing, and volleyball a lot too. We do not have cable, only an HD antena, that we actually bought 4 years ago specifically for the Olympics. But we never get to see a lot of the coverage.
Oh! What's a Scooby Snack shot? I've never heard of it. Midori?
I had to look it up to know for sure. (I just copied and pasted what I found online below) I actually didn't even realize it had cool whip in it ha ha. We really only ordered it at the bar so I never actually made it.
Pour Malibu, Midori, creme de banane, and pineapple juice into a stainless steel shaker over ice. Add whipped cream, and shake; until well mixed and sufficiently chilled. Strain into an old-fashioned glass and shoot.
I swaddled with just one arm out again tonight. He just woke up, and when I walked in, he somehow managed to scoot down and to the side, getting his free arm caught between the crib rails

So tired. Both kids up throughout the night. I woke up really queasy, but managed to make it to my 6am boot camp class where I thought I'd puke the whole time. It's rainy here, so no clue what I'll do to entertain my toddler.

That, happen to us her first night in crib...Arm and leg between rails. She can only roll on her right side so we positioned her the other way the next night. Hasn't been a problem since..but I'm also considering mesh bumpers...good luck

Props to you for making it to boot camp!
Thanks! Pretty impressed with myself. Looks like my 2 year old and I may have a little bug. Hope the baby doesn't get it!
My dad once had a coworker who liked to bringing in beef sticks. But somebody kept on eating them. Eventually the coworker injected some of them with oil. Didn't take long to figure out who the culprit was!! They were caught red-handed...or black-faced, that is!
I need to clean the house, it is a disaster because I though I would try organizing and gett rid of some things, but of course that starts with getting everything out first (just one room, but the rest of the house has a weeks worth of uilt up clutter). Cleaning girls come tomorrow, so I have to get things picked up.
DH is going out of town for the week. This will be the first time I will have the 2 kids on my own for more than a few hours. I am scared. It is one thing when it is just entertaining for a few hours, but having to be productive, and get off to work and daycare, and get everyone fed, and clothed, and to sleep on my own. This is going to be a really rough week. I need to get to the store to get some easy dinners. I am in awe of single parents.
And then on top of all of that I have a peridontist appointment tomorrow for a torn papilla (sp?). Hopefully that is not too awful, I hate having dental work done
Is it your first day solo parenting? Good luck at the dentist and I hope the kids are great for you this week!

We finally got baby giggles and fake coughs this weekend. So fun!!
This heat is killing me though. And it's changing his sleep patterns. It's hard to cosleep with your baby when you're lying in a pool of sweat.
But there are upsides to the heat. I have no appetite, so I'm eating less. Maybe this could kickstart losing that final 20 pounds.
DH built me a ballet barre with a mirror in the garage over the weekend, so I'm going to start doing a daily barre routine for exercise. I just need it to get a little cooler so I don't die from heat exhaustion out there!

Thanks! Yep, first day solo parenting 2 kids. Well, daycare will have them most of the day I just hope the todler does not have too many evening meltdowns whill I try to nurse.
I got a decent amount of sleep last night. The boys seem to be getting better and DH took the day off to help everyone recover. I'm hoping it only gets better.

heartbot, that's terrible. Sounds like a situation we all went through with my sister in recent years. It got to the point where we couldn't keep enabling her and no longer could keep her safe. It's so scary and makes me terrified for when my kids get bigger.
ETA: that sort of made it sound like my sister has since passed away. She's actually turned herself around and doing great now.

heartbot that's such a tough spot for your friend to be in.
Over the last 10 years I've supported and been involved with a lot of parents and partners who've had to make similar decisions and it's so heartbreaking particularly to watch a parent go through having to turn away their own child, even when it might be the best or only option.
Despite my weight loss, I'm carrying a lot of fat in my belly. I just don't think it's going to go away til I stop breastfeeding. So I gave up and bought bigger pants

UGH this is me too. I bought bigger pants to fit my belly, but they are big on my thighs and butt. I should probably stop eating crap, but...meh.
I just have to AW because I'm super proud of myself. I started calorie-counting last week. I knew I was eating a lot, but I didn't realize I was routinely eating 2500-3000(!!!) calories/day. I knew immediately it was what's been keeping me from losing weight despite a lot of working out. I cut down to my recommended calorie limit and lost 3 lbs. in 7 days! And this morning I accidentally grabbed a pair of my pre-baby shorts, and they zipped, buttoned, and are even comfortable. I've been working so hard and so frustrated with the lack of progress. I'm relieved to finally see some change.
Great job! I was counting and seeing results and then I fell of the wagon. I need to get back at it!
