Morning!!! It's taking a little bit to get adjusted but it's happening! Today is MHs first day back to work so I'm riding solo with the girls to Js first appointment. Other than the lack of sleep, we're doing pretty good over here. Though if there's a guide for how to get your toddler to stop launching herself at you while you're holding a newborn, could someone send it my way?
We have awesome pictures that I'll get around to sharing.... Eventually. Other than that, we've had just a bunch of unrelated insane things happen in the last few days, so we're just waiting for things to settle into a new normal.
Morning! Everyone say a prayer for my car. I should find out today if the repairs are greater than the resale value. Will the Fusion live to see another day? We'll see!
FIL's cousin is stopping over tonight to look at our attic. We're converting it into a master bed and bath (a project 7 years in the making). He's going to assist with the plumbing and bathroom installation. And a guy is coming this weekend to take care of the drywall and spackle. Once we get the attic finished and the wedding over with, we can start working on Thing 2! EEK.
TheTuna15 eek! Good luck today. Glad you all are surviving. D was rough when we first brought f home. He wanted my lap (which had been his for 3.5 years!) but we just kept reinforcing being gentle and easy and eventually it clicked. Also, it's easy to forget that babies really are strong! Even against big siblings. flat0422 my anxiety has been up lately. Do you know what is setting yours off? Head to the gym. You'll feel better later! malvo squee!
TheTuna15, GL today. rvamama, saying prayers for your interview. I know you'll do great! flat0422, sorry you're having anxiety issues today. Go to the gym, it will help!! Have fu getting your nails done this afternoon.
Morning car rides are still a struggle with no paci. She cries a lot but this morning she gave in and fell asleep. The ride home hasn't been a problem at all.
HEEEY, good morning!! An old friend of mine had her first baby last night. Too much baby going on lately, my ovaries are flipping outttt.
Going to a meeting with my boss this morning and then I have a meeting this afternoon so while I'm dreading all of this nonsense, it should help the day go quickly.
She isn't up yet! But I should know in the next 45 min or so. I snuck to the door of her room and I didn't smell any puke.... Fx there is none in there and it doesn't happen before I go get here!
I'm getting ready for work hoping we get to go today!
flat0422 I hear you lady!! I wish I could say "try to relax" but I know that's just like saying nail jell-o to a tree. Regardless, I hope it lightens up on you soon.
My hb has a new manager at work. Over the last few days he has stolen tickets from everyone to keep for himself. My hb said when he 1st started he was one to try and prove he was better and could out sell everyone. Stealing the money from your employees is not the way to do it. He sits on his ass on phone interviews all day. The coworkers are all venting to my hb I told him to make sure they report it to the ethics department.

Poop House Update:
We are still alive! Jo seems to be a little better. I know she's tired of the BRAT diet but it seems to be helping. I've got her home again today. She wants to sit with mama but M is really clingy-he has to be held for some reason.
I have an excellent rant about DH but I cannot construct sentences through the red haze of rage right now. So stay tuned for that lol.
I'm just LLRn it today. Big shout out to ladymike for answering all my stupid questions! She's the bomb! And I'm hunting for a new haircut.
graciest719 it is a lot easier than I thought it would be. Do the ones you use have different sizes? I think that helped with e because she didn't like the bigger one so it was not as much of a deal not having it. Or switch her to a different kind she doesn't care for as much for a week so it is easier.

Day 2 of vacation! I could reallllly get used to this life. Enjoying a nice cup of tea in peace every morning before going about my day is heaven.
In other news....D has started saying more words!!! It's amazing. This week he has started saying banana, flower, cheese, dog, and will say more and do the sign for it at the same time. Before this he didn't really have many words so i'm just so relieved and excited for him. He still doesn't call me mama yet which is a bummer but FX soon!
maddisonrose you're too nice haha. Isn't it the best when they start saying all the these words with meaning?! Who else was putting more words together, ruemorgan? It's the cutest thing, K has quite a few words now, but she's started having "conversations" where it's "ba da do da da ba ba boo" (with a real word or two thrown in) while actively pointing to something and trying to get he point across.
This is f! The baby convos that is. But she does know and say shoe, bubble, ball, hi, bye, dat (what she calls her Taggie), mama and dada and Dede for h and d.
M has also started with the baby conversations! We're like, "Oh yeah?" and she's all, "Yeah!"
Her words are Dada, ball, ba (for bottle/sippy), kitty, baby, yeah, uh-oh, hi, and bye. She also barks if you ask her what the puppy says. Although, if you ask her what the kitty or cow says, she also barks
