Related (early) FFFC: I was (silently) critical of how much screen time my nephew has, and how he'll throw a tantrum (he's about 2) about getting control of the remote. I stream music for Poppy from our Apple TV, which plays off a big iMac that basically doubles as our tv. So, there are images (usually album covers) that are there as the music plays, and she sees me navigate to get to the music. She is now OBSESSED with the Apple remote and will throw a fit if I won't let her have it or take it away from her. It's like it's the universe bitch slapping me for being quietly smug about babies and screen time and what I would never do.
My daughter will not watch tv.
There have been more than a few times when I've wished I could dump her in front of it and close my eyes for a few minutes or walk away and finish a chore. I'm jealous of other families screen time.

It's an acquired taste. Practice makes perfect lol
I was super strict about no screen time before 2 for DD1, but like th3stryck3r said, I wasn't home with her much so it wasn't hard. We just didn't turn it on until she went to bed at 6:45. Then we had DD2 and I relied on TV a ton when she was a NB to occupy DD1. At first she wouldn't watch it, but she caught on quickly. Now she's always asking for more, and it would just be so easy to let her watch it all the time, so I have to make a real effort to limit it. She's sneaky though, the other day I told her I didn't feel good and she said "I get to watch an extra Mickey mouse bc you don't feel good?".

I try to be low-key and zen, and I think I can even sometimes fool people into believing that I am, but I am actually very Type-A. Also, I CANNOT LET THINGS GO. This is why I must (or at least I should) gloss over a lot of political posts on the internet. I can't handle people on the internet being "wrong." It ignites a fire in my heart.
Says the lady eating her lunch now. Ffs, I'm starving.
I was going to go for a run during my lunch yesterday but then I procrastinated through lunch and suddenly it was 1:30 and I decided it was too late to leave for lunch because then people would just think you were gone!
packmomma, don't come into my backyard during nap time on the weekend. I'll be floating in my pool soaking up all the sun.
Love tanning. I wear sunblock, but I will gladly lay out for hours if I can!
Are you reapplying sunscreen because in that case I wouldn't judge. But I had 3 family members laying out to tan for hours yesterday and all of them were burnt at the end. Skin cancer runs in my family so it just seems stupid to me.
@betweenthelines, 2dumbdogs, Can I sit with you? I love sunning. Reading on the beach by the ocean is my favorite thing to do!
I wouldn't equate sunning and tanning. Tanning is oiling oneself up and laying out or going to a tanning bed. That seems unnecessarily unhealthy.
But putting on a hat, slathering on some sunblock and basking in some warm sunshine while reading a good book— if that makes me dumb, I don't want to be smart.
If I had time, I'd go lay out by the pool with a wine cooler and my ipod and a book faster than you can say sun. I used to never wear sunscreen, because I never burned and ignored the facts about cancer. I didn't start til I got pregnant with E.
B doesn't get to play with our phones at all and throws beginner tantrums when we take it away. I always judged too because I thought it meant they were getting too much of it, but nope, turns out kids are just assholes.
I can't tan so I gave up.
My FFFC is I feel like such an outsider here now. I mean whatever, because I'm a social butterfly, but it's harder to keep up on here because tapatalk sucks and I'm mostly on my phone. I'm really trying to get more engaged here though.

tmclawchick, I don't see any issue with the spelling, but it does seem like an odd name— the first name (very Americanized version of Brynn) doesn't really go with the middle name (Korean). Definitely NMS. At least she'll easily be able to shorten it to Brynn!

Just use the mobile site? I am only on my phone and HATE tapatalk. The mobile site is really easy.
abvintage I understand the outsider feeling, that's how I feel in the Facebook group. Have you tried just using the mobile version of the site? I am always mobile.

runningmommy519, I enjoy beer and wine, but with beer, I want it to be a GOOD beer. I can't get into pbr or Miller lite. With wine, I'm ok drinking something cheap. I think it's harder to find an affordable, palatable crowd pleasing option with beer than with wine.

I have used it before. I should try to use it more.

Totally use the mobile site! I never used tapatalk because I'm a bit of a grandma who hates all these newfangled apps.
I become disappointed when I find out that friends who have gotten married have changed their last name to their husband's. It's such a dated practice, and I wish we could leave it in the past.
