Those are not something I would pick up myself shopping but I actually do like them. My BF likes the detail on the heel. I'd wear those with a chunky sweater, leggings/jeggings and head out with the kids. You're going to make me buy allll the boots today.

The biggest size was an 8. My big toe might fit in them haha. I pulled the trigger on the second sorels I posted. Back to shopping I go.
My H LOVES to grocery shop. We always went together pre-kids but now he goes every Saturday morning with DD1 during DD2's nap. I offered to do it during the week but he didn't want to give it up. He's such a bargain hunter that I think he's afraid I won't get the best price for peanut butter or something if I go alone. Whatever dude, I hate doing it so have at it.

Just curious as to how much your H spends on weekly groceries....wondering if it makes a significant difference to really shop the best sales. I always feel like I spend too much.

I'll ask him when he gets home. It probably varies though. He stocks up when there's a sale on non-perishables (DD1's closet is full of toilet paper right now...) so some weeks are big because of that. We also have 9 bags of sweet potato fries in the freezer right now because they were on sale and we will eat them eventually. He checks the ad every week and usually only buys whatever meat is on sale and will also buy extra to freeze if it's a good price. Same for produce- if I want grapes, I buy grapes, he'll only buy them if they're a good price. My problem is I don't know what a good price is, but he remembers all of that stuff. And he adds coupons to the mix sometimes too. Honestly, I think he really enjoys finding the best possible deal. He's totally in his element.
@janetheconquerer apparently I'm going to love tit everything you post this morning. Yes to H and the grocery store. I've learned to be very specific with him. If I tell him I need snacks he can't think of anything to get me. Dude we've lived together for 14 years, you should be able to get me snacks.
H also can't think of anything to get me when I ask for snacks. So he gets me one of almost everything. EVERYTHING.
How old do kids have to be to get them allergy tested?
Older than ours. My niece had a reaction to peanut butter and I think she couldn't get tested until like 3 maybe. I dont remember the exact age but she had to wait and we had to treat it like an allergy until then. She got tested and she is allergic to nuts...

That's what I thought. I'm severely allergic to nuts but I don't know if jack is so for right now I'm treating him like he is lol
Pretty much. My main complaint is that I keep a pretty strict food budget and plan every meal, but if I ask him to pick up milk on the way home it turns into milk, pizza bagels, chips and salsa, cookies, coffee creamer, etc. NO. JUST MILK.
This is MH too. I say that his style of grocery shopping is chaos muppet. I try to only ask him to pick something up if I want to be "surprised" with another dozen items.

Thanks ampaints and th3stryck3r! I lucked out because I was walking out the door to go to urgent care when I got an email back from the allergist saying to get some cortisone cream and use ice for the swelling. So I am trying that for now!
Bought a new stove! Delivery on Wednesday. I will have a complete kitchen. Yay! We spent a little more than I planned but H liked it a lot and I wasn't going to argue. Such adulting!
