I find it annoying that when I go grocery shopping I buy stuff that everyone needs/likes but when H goes, he buys what he needs/likes. Every single time.
@janetheconquerer apparently I'm going to love tit everything you post this morning. Yes to H and the grocery store. I've learned to be very specific with him. If I tell him I need snacks he can't think of anything to get me. Dude we've lived together for 14 years, you should be able to get me snacks.
Work for about 2 hours this morning. Going to MIL's this afternoon to make sure things are ready for my cousins baby shower tomorrow. It's the cousin who also dealt with IF, I'm so happy for her. She's 32 weeks already! I'm trying to convince H later that we should go to a BBQ festival that's just down the road from us. I love that we can walk to events since we're just a mile from downtown.

Pretty much. My main complaint is that I keep a pretty strict food budget and plan every meal, but if I ask him to pick up milk on the way home it turns into milk, pizza bagels, chips and salsa, cookies, coffee creamer, etc. NO. JUST MILK.
I'm lying in bed pretending to sleep. All hell is breaking loose downstairs with BF and the kids (both crying and fussy). He's got this. I'm shopping for boots online...

Busy weekend here...DH has to go into work today (ugh) so I'm taking the kids somewhere (not sure yet), then we're meeting up with friends this evening. Tomorrow morning we're buying a lawnmower and hedge trimmers then tackling yard work. Unpacking and setting stuff up in between. Fun times!

Twins, except no hell breaking loose. TBH I'm annoyed because I don't hear my adorable baby playing, all I hear is the damn TV. Give me a break! Play with the baby, don't sit watching the TV!! Ugh

We're 3 weeks into preschool and Ava has brought home her first cold which she has now passed on to me. I feel miserable. At least it wasn't a puking illness. I know that's coming at some point though. This is the one thing I don't like about preschool lol!

Awwww I didn't know that your big girl was named Ava! I hope you guys feel better soon!
I completely forgot we have a get together this afternoon with my BFs colleagues and families. It's 1.5 hrs away. Starting at 2pm until late night. We are the only ones with kids under 9 yrs. Aaarrrgggg.
We are painting Ava's bathroom and the hallway/stairs. The bathroom color is a lot more purple than I was picturing. When I look up the color online it looks much different. I'm wondering if they messed up when mixing....
Hanging out with no real agenda today. I'm sure day drinking. It's rainy so it'll be indoor entertainment. I might try to convince H to buy a new stove this weekend. Our current one is old and doesn't match the rest of the appliances. Now that we are done with renovation fora while (we have to paint, but that's it!) it will be nice to have matching appliances to enjoy before we sell.
Lol. My h is the opposite when it comes to groceries. If it's not written on the list he won't buy it. He's a super strict shopper. When I shop I get things on my list but might add based on what else I see on sale. Our grocery bill is one of our most expensive. I'm really good with meal planning and freezing leftovers lately though. Freezer meals are my best friend lately.
Hi! It has been a very long time since I have been active here since I disappeared for the most part post-FB transition. I feel slightly responsible for the blow-up that happened for the TCF vs. FB the past few days. I started a thread in FB about everyone's TTC plans, on which I commented that I saw a mama from our group posting in GKU when I was lurking over there. That led to someone else stating a UO that they hoped people who posted on other boards would also stop in and say hi to TCF A15, thus starting the crazy spiral of crazy. So sorry!
Quick refresher - my LO is Oliver and he will be 13 months tomorrow! He never learned how to crawl, but he butt-scoots all around the floor. He's pretty adorable. DH and I decided to start TTC when I got my first PPD during vacation this month. So I am trying to be active around A15 again since I might peek around GKU or a new BMB, should things work out eventually.
So on a randoms note, I went to the allergist for the first time yesterday, and got an allergy panel. It pretty much was horrible - reacted to almost all of the 65 different things they tested me for and almost passed out! Now this morning, most of the little pricks have disappeared, except for two (tree pollens) that have merged and formed into basically a giant, hand-sized red lump. My bicep looks like the world's biggest mosquito bit me or something. So off to urgent care in a few to try and see what in the world I can do about this.

Does this happen in any of your houses?
Before baby, DH and I worked at the same company and commuted together. Monday nights on our way home from work, we'd stop and get groceries. Post-baby, I work for the same company but from home. DH still gets the groceries on Mondays, but I manage for the most part what he buys by maintaining a Google Sheets list of everything I need him to pick up for the week. Works pretty well for us!

mh acts like a child in the store and never goes alone, unless if you count when he needs supplies at Walmart and even then he doesn't bother to pick up his own sundries.
On the bright side mh had decided i need a mental health day, and i am currently in the basement sewing. First day in over a fucking year that i don't have to leave my own home to get some me time.

Sounds like perfection to me. Enjoy your sewing alone time.
