Let's get this weekend started

You know your kid is officially a toddler when you serve his favorite pasta dinner but he won't eat it because some of the noodles are a different shape than usual. Note to self: mixing elbows and penne is a wasted dinner effort.

I watched the good wife for first 2 seasons. But then life got in the way. I wish I didn't stop.

amberlie, a wife, Angelina margulious, finds out her husband had an affair in a very public way. She has to decide if she wants to stand beside him. She also is a lawyer and the show just goes from there...very good.

H irritated me earlier by criticizing me for only half paying attention to the tv show I was watching because I was also on my phone.

This weekend has been full. I helped my cousin set up for the shower yesterday after working, did schoolwork, cleaned the house, and went to the bbq festival.

Today I was up with M, cooked breakfast, made the cobbler, went to the shower early after stopping at the store when I got a distressed call from my cousin, cleaned the kitchen again, and more schoolwork. I also mostly took care of M this weekend.

Yeah, in the 15 minutes you're feeding M dinner don't criticize me if I'm doing the most to relax in my limited time. Jerk.

Speaking of TV shows, I'm just finishing the second season of how to get away with murder and bawling my eyes out....so many triggers and so emotional. If DH was here he would think I was crazy the way I'm bawling over a TV show. OMG, should have seen it coming. Too much.

Laverne some household items. We do go to Target or Walmart a few times a month for random stuff (and diapers!) so we get some household items there on occasion.

aydee I'm not totally sure, it's all H. He is by no means an extreme couponer, but does use a handful of coupons most of the time. He checks the ad every week and shops sales particularly for meat and produce. He majorly stocks up when there's a sale. If something I use often is on sale I might buy 2 or 3, H will clear the shelf. And he has no brand loyalty, whatever brand is cheapest (there are a few exceptions, some things I won't budge on), and nothing organic. We don't buy a lot of processed foods, I cook most things from scratch. The frozen sweet potato fries took some convincing- "But don't you know how much cheaper it is to just buy a sweet potato??". I think he's just super super cheap, er frugal. I had avocados on the list this week and he called me asking if I really needed them bc they're expensive now. I said yes, I wanted avocado on my tacos. He bought one. So it's annoying sometimes but I'm mostly used to it by now.

I went to a Lularoe & Primere Designs party and spent too much $. But I got to catch up with a good friend and our boys played so it was really nice to get to do that. I need to clean my house so bad y'all. So bad.

This intrigues me...I haven't heard any spoilers about the finale, so I don't know what to expect!
