We had a time too melody330. He was awake forever, finally passed out for 20 mins, then was up for dds bedtime. Finally got him to sleep in my arms after DD was down, but he kept stirring and popping awake. So frustrating. H had to take over and finally got him in the crib but has had to settle him a few times since.

Irene had another projectile vomit before bed. I am so freaking over this. I'm thankful she's still able to gain weight but I just feel so bad for her. And tired of doing laundry every day. I really hope she's able to sleep for a good stretch even with an empty stomach.
Sam was really upset and I could tell tired, had been up over 3 hours, so we decided it was a great time to try putting him to sleep instead of waiting until we go to bed. He ate for a good amount of time, fell asleep in my arms, we were downstairs maybe 15 minutes before he was screaming...now he's eating again, eyes wide open. stubborn, stubborn baby.

No idea how I'll survive this week.
I started asking a neighbor to come over during bed time to walk the baby around if it's been a particularly bad day. It's no fun going solo, I totally feel your pain.

For some reason I was feeling optimistic about tonight. Silly me. After an hour, he finally fell asleep only to wake up 15 min later. At least H is dealing with him now.
mcktymck you reminded me. I need to watch season 4 of OITNB. I watched episode 1 forever ago and then forgot about it.

We just started watching it a couple weeks ago and are halfway through season two! Just got Netflix so I'm binging on all the shows everyone's been talking about haha

M was on my boobs ALL last night so my nips were in real pain today which meant I pumped all day and finally let M back on the boob to calm down....fx he doesn't end up on my boobs all night again.
Up again. B has been consistently getting up at 1:30ish and 4:30ish lately. I don't mind this schedule at all, but after his 4:30 wake up he has a really really hard time settling down and then stay in asleep. As a result I don't fall asleep and then by the time I doze off DS1 is up for the day.
Thankfully it's a school day for DS1. I have a million errands to run with B. It's looking like a 3 cup of coffee day.

You guys, my kid slept! Once he finally settled down after some rocking from H, he slept from 10-3! Now I must repeat every evening exactly the same as last night so it happens again.

Let's see, dh was up at 130 to feed Dd. 3am to put ds back in bed. I was up at 330 because I thought Dd was awake. I was up at 4 to put ds back in bed.
And now I'm up again feeding Dd. I was also up 130 to wake dh to feed Dd. Le sigh.
We had a relatively good night here. B went right back down after his 4:30 wake up and is still sleeping almost 3 hours later. I assume he will be up shortly because ds1 is awake and already at a freaking 11.

L had a good night! Barely slept yesterday during the day though.
It's a totally different ballgame this time around with a video monitor. With DS1 we just had an audio monitor, and if I didn't hear any noise, I assumed all was good. Now that I can see L, I put him to bed and then see him wiggling around or waving his arms and rush in thinking he's awake, but really he's just settling. I need to just leave him MOTN unless he's crying!

I turn off the video on ours for this reason. The audio stays on and it still scans between the boys rooms. If you push the power button a little it should turn off the screen but not audio. Most monitors do this!

Ooh thanks! The light from it drives me nuts at night, I keep it facing the wall. Of course it would have that function!
We were back to a max of 2.5 hours last night. So the I think it has less to do with Rnp vs crib and is just how she is. She just wants to be held all night. At this point the RNP is easier on me so I'll just stick with it and reassess in a week. I keep telling myself that just one more week could be a big difference. It has to at some point, right??!!

We put both kids down at 8:20. Only have had to go replace paci for dd once and fix Ds's back hoe once. Lol. So far, so good. I'll wake up dd when I go to bed to top her off and hopefully we'll be on our way to a night of sleep! I'm hoping this works so the transition back to work on Wednesday is a bit easier.
B still hasn't pooped, it's been over 48 hours. I know it's totally normal for them to go a few days but I tried the tip and nothing. He is so uncomfortable.
