A refused to eat tonight before I gave up and just put him to bed. Should be interesting. We'd developed a pretty good routine the last couple weeks, guess this is his way of saying he is the show runner still, lol.

Longest stretch of his life. 5.5 hours. Thank goodness!
icaughtfire insomnia is the worst. It gets me most nights, but mine stems from anxiety. I'm so nervous B is going to wake up as soon as I fall asleep it usually takes a long time for me to nod off. Hopefully you're asleep by now!

Omg. Mine slept 5 hours, the longest in her life by far! She's only slept 4 hours about 4 times ever. What the heck is going on and how do we make it happen again?!?

I wish I knew! I'm sure mine was a fluke and it won't happen again for another 11 weeks lol!
B did great last night. Went to bed at 8:00 and had two wake ups. Last one was at 4:00 and he's still asleep almost 2 hours later! That is usually where we fall apart and are up every 45 minutes. Too bad my big kid is awake for the day and sitting in his bed waiting for his green light that will go off in ten minutes. I'm enjoying silence for now until I have to go get him.
We had a shitty night. He occasionally has good nights so I know he's capable, but it sure doesn't happen often. Sigh. I guess I'll be tired until my kids go to college.
L slept for 8 hours straight last night. And I was asleep for all of them! I have no idea how or why it happened but I'm not complaining. I know it won't happen again for a while I'm sure so I will just enjoy feeling normal today.
Well B screamed in my face for 45 minutes while I tried to rock, latch him or give him the pacifier. Nothing soothed him. Out of sheer frustration I put him in his MM sleep suit and he took the paci and is currently laying in his crib putting himself to sleep.
It's like I have a Martian baby from outer space. He is NOTHING like my first. There wasn't a problem that couldn't be solved by boobs for DS1.
But now B went to bed at 7:30...so we will see how this goes!
I get our MM suit tomorrow. Hope it's magical for us. Moving her away from the swaddle when she sleeps so good (for the most part) scares the shit out of me...

What is the guideline for when I should stop swaddling flint? Is it just when he starts rolling?
From what I understand, it's when he starts rolling. Around 2-3 months? Although I've heard of some going longer. L kept busting his arms out of the swaddle so I moved him to a sleep sack.

Ahh ok. He's still not rolling. Maybe I should start putting him down more often? He just gets so grumpy it's easier to keep him on me lol

My understanding is when he can roll back to front. Front to back rolling wouldn't be unsafe bc he's sleeping on his back. I think this is closer to 4 months for most babies. E is still swaddled - he rolls front to back only so I'm not concerned about swaddle safety.
I'm about to kill my H. DS1 wet the bed and was hysterical. H deals with him so he changed him and the sheets. Then he wants him to try to go to the bathroom but DS1 is still upset and refuses. So H starts screaming at him making DS1 cry harder. This is happening right outside the baby's room. Cue him crying 2 min later. And I thought I might actually get a decent night sleep for once. Silly me. So many lights were on and there was so much screaming and crying that I'm wide awake feeding E.
Oh man. There's s typical growth spurt at 3 months. How old is your LO? could be a growth spurt, or just babies being babies. Either way, sorry
He'll be 3 months next week, but he was due 7/2, sooo... this is probably it. He was cranky yesterday and already today he's a bit of a pistol. We're picking mil up from a bus station in an hour, so I'll have backup soon.

I don't post on this thread much but I had a rough night. Mal slept well but I had insomnia after his first stretch. I was up 1-3 wide awake and just as I was drifting off, he woke up hungry. I'm a zombie and it's my own fault.
