Good luck ladies!! I'm thinking when I rejoin this thread regularly it will be once I attempt to get DS to sleep in his own bed. I'm scared. He cosleeps so well but I also want my bed back. He has to constantly be touching me.
Anyone have experience with Merlin's magic sleep suit?

Good luck ladies. Sleep, little babies!
Why do zippers and snaps have to make so much noise? The first person to create a noiseless zippered sleep sack will be an instant millionaire, I promise.

We are up. 3.5 hours but I didn't go to bed right away. I just can't go to bed at 8pm, I can't do it.
Today someone asked me how B was sleeping. I am trying not to be a complete bitch when I answer, so I kept it short. "Not well! Our best stretch is usually 3 hours." They replied with a story about how their newborn (7 years ago) STTN from day 1 and she was so concerned something was wrong.
2 hours. I'm not sure my kid will ever sleep better.
Anyone have any book recommendations? I just finished the series I was reading and need something to read MOTN. I was thinking Girl on a Train. Anyone read that?
roccobabyk take this as you will, but we have a MM sleep suit. It helps get him down quickly and definitely helps connect his sleep cycles when he startles awake. He went from sleeping only 40-60 minute stretches to sleeping double that. Most people I know had much better success with them than we did though. I would still recommend it.
Ray it's sort of embarrassing, but I love young adult fiction. The Mortal Instruments, The Clockwork series, The Hunger Games, Vampire Academy, the Bloodline series, The Maze Runner series. I did love the True Blood books which aren't YA at all.
I like books that come in series. I read very fast and hate when I have to leave characters behind because there aren't anymore stories!
Hugs for the sleepless nights. We were up a lot but I have trouble going back to sleep if I've been looking at my phone so I didn't last night. It did seem to help.
melody330 Girl on the Train is so so good! I couldn't put it down. Definitely recommend it.

DS wears a MM suit. It truly is magical. He also was not a swaddle fan, but the suit is very soft and snug in all the right places so he doesn't have that startle reflex waking him up.

melody330 don't be embarrassed +1 to also loving YA fiction. The circle of Magic series and The circle opens series (same characters) by Tamora Pierce are good quick reads. There's 8 books total I think.

Long night last night. HK is too big now for her Swaddle Me so I got a Halo Sleep Sack. She keeps breaking out and once she is out she is awake (she keeps her hands by her face and starts squirming. Thinking about MM suit to try because we are most likely going to have to stop swaddling within the month. I never had this issue with DS because he hated the swaddle. Any suggestions?

melody330 look up the author Sarah Maas right now and read all of her books. She has 2 series, both are unfinished right now, but all of her books are so awesome and sounds like they would be right up your alley.

Have you read the rest of her books? They are also very good!

MM suit!!
roccobabyk A fit in it at about 8-9 weeks. It has a wide collar, and A is a wiggle worm, so the first time he used it, in the AM his shoulder and arm somehow got out, but within a couple weeks, he'd grown enough that it fit better. A is now 16ish pounds and I will be getting him the next size up in a week or so.
