I usually swaddle then feed and transfer to crib once sleeping. No swaddle so she's kicking around having a grand old time while eating. Thus should be interesting...

Any words of advice on how to get her in there nonchalantly - that was hard work
F always passed out in the boob and then I slip one hand under head, one under bum, and slowwwwwly walk with him to crib. I put feet down first then head the. Slowly take out under bum and squish his arms if he starts wriggling. Then slowly take out under head and then squish hold him if necessary until he's asleep. It's quite the production lol

Sort of roll the sleeves / scrunch them up until they are almost inside out and shove the arm through. It's really the only annoying part. I take him out before each feeding and then put him back in because I can't get a good burp in the suit. If I leave him in the suit while feeding he always spits up after I lay him down.

See I burp, then walk a usually sleeping baby to the changing table. I shove his arms in first, usually jostling him around and waking him up. Then I put his legs in and zipper. By the time he's zippered he's usually fast asleep again and I can lay him in his crib. I usually press an open palm on his belly/chest while he settles. If he happens to be awake during this time he falls right asleep in his crib.
We are up for the day. I want to puke I'm so tired. I think he was up 5 times. H was shocked and asked why I didn't ask him for help. ...... Because half the time it's more of a chore than just laying him down myself.
Rough night here too. I think I mentioned one night last week was his worst since birth. Nope last night won. Pretty sure I was up 4 times and my H 3 times with him. Add in a toddler who wet the bed (omg he will go 2 weeks staying dry and then will wet the bed 3 nights in a row, ugh) and some insomnia for me. I was in tears bc I don't know how I'm supppsed to function like this.
But thank you for the recommendations for the MM suit. That thing IS magical and did great last night
DH was cracking me up because he was saying that the MM suit just looked like a special kind of torture. When I replied with but she is sleeping so good - his rebuttal - she is just confused on what she is in LOL

I can never get a dream feed. Flint is either asleep and therefore not sucking, or he wakes all the way up and it's just a normal feed lol sorry melody330 I'm no help - GL!
Does anyone dream feed? B just fell asleep at 7:00 and I have a ton of shit to do for tomorrow. I won't go to bed until 10 at the earliest.
I was thinking to try a dream feed at 10 when I go to bed and hopefully avoid that 11/12:00 wake up.
I mean.... Things can't get much worse right?
I can dream feed S to some of extent but in my experience it hasn't worked to get him to sleep longer... I usually pump his legs to try to get some gas out then put him on the boob. He will eat and then still get up at 12 or so. At this point the only time I try to dream feed is when he seems to be struggling with gas before I go to bed.
Also, it sometimes (like tonight) ends in him coughing and choking on the milk because he falls back asleep and is sucking but forgets that he is doing it.
I think I know why last night was so terrible. Pretty sure we have our first cold. :/ And she's already stirring for the night so first stretch is 2 hours. Since that's our best stretch I'm in for it.
Well I decided not to dream feed lol. It went against every fiber of my being so touch a sleeping baby, so I said screw the chores and went to bed at 9. B slept 5 hours and I got 3 of them! So I'll take it.
Also, with his reflux I don't think dream feeds would work. I need to burp him really well and take him out of his MM suit to do that. Thanks for the input everyone ;-)
DH is clearing his throat and coughing non stop so I eventually told him I was going to sleep in the nursery. I get too little sleep to get woken up every time he does that. He was offended but I don't see him doing the night wakeups so whatever.
Another rough night, but I think I know the cause. He spends all his time trying to roll back to front so he's not sleeping. I'm tempted to try the MM sleepsuit - maybe that will keep him from moving? I can't function with 1-2 hour stretches.
