No help, but have fun and I'll be referring to this post in the future when we go. My SS will be going with his marching band sometime next school year and we plan to take our two girls and the baby if timing works in our favor.

Popping in for car seat spiel. The lap belt on an airplane seat doesn't start to fit until close to 40lbs. If you were to hit turbulence it may not hold him in the seat.
@ecotty138 we didn't bring a car seat when we traveled but Clara was easy to distract with crayons, stickers, snacks, and videos on the iPad
Did Clara have tubes when you travelled? My DS tubes had already come out when we flew and he screamed like he was in pain for 5 minutes during take off and landing and we couldn't convince him to eat or chew or drink. The rest of the time he was great with distractions.

Yes, Christmas was her second trip with them in. Hers haven't fallen out yet, thank goodness. I am really not looking forward to this. That sounds rough. 😕
