Like @texasmama15 my brain is starting to move here since I opened this first before checking the other place!
I have decided to take everything out of the baby's room and then find a home for it. If it's all in my living room I will have get rid of it because it will drive me nuts. Hopefully this strategy works.
Every Saturday morning I watch Dogs 101 and it makes me want to adopt all of the breeds. This show and Pitbulls and Parolees are two of my favorite animal shows.

Oh also...I have a problem. I can't stop buying baby clothes. I am a FTM & I'll be having 3 showers so I know I'll be getting way too many outfits but I just can't help myself. I love everything.

Cranky random: I woke up crying around 4am with this terrible sharp pain. I felt badly for waking up DH, but he fell back asleep in no time. Took me ages. Now it's barely 8am and there are construction workers making noise next door. Gah, I just want to sleeeeep!!!

Me on the other hand, I get overwhelmed in the girl section. I think it's all the pink. I can't agree on buying anything and DH says our DD will be naked if something is not done soon. I got bottles and gadget but the clothing I am stuck on.

I did the same thing with DD. I was like a moth to a flame! Just couldn't resist!

That was definitely a plus to being team green last time. I got no clothes at my shower because no one wanted to buy "boring" gender neutral stuff. So I got to be the one to go crazy on clothes and everyone else bought me the boring essentials.

I'm trying so hard to resist buying clothes. We already have a dresser drawer full of clothes given to us and things that I've bought. Plus we'll get even more hand me downs since my niece turns one in a couple of weeks.
But some of the things are just so cute! To limit myself, if I do buy something, it has to be on clearance at least 50% off. Then I don't feel too bad about it.

DH is playing soccer this morning so I'm just about to head out in search of baby clothes hangers - I couldn't find them at Target, so probably going to try BRU - any other suggestions of where to look?

That's strange I saw them at target. In the baby section by the bobbies. I know BRU also has them and walmart.

Did you look in the actual baby department or just the regular aisle with hangers? They should definitely just be in the baby department. But with it being in transition right now it may be a mess over there right now. But we definitely carry them.

I've see them both places. At Target they are with in the aisle with the Gerber baby clothes packs, next to the baby towels.

@ajzmommy ugh... I think everyone in the city I'm in is having babies - the baby section at my Target is always cleared out. If BRU doesn't have them I'll have to try Walmart (I hate it there too)
I haven't bought anything for this baby. I need a be bouncer and that's it. We were tan been the first time too. I don't want one of the big bouncers though. I want one of the basic chair ones and can't find one in stores.

I have not bought anything full price (except a michigan wolverines onesie I bought yesterday) so that does make me feel better about the shopping! Also, since it was clearance I assumed it wouldn't be around once people started shower shopping so I didn't want to miss out on the cute outfits I love.
I do need to start buying outfits with mommy sayings on them though! He now has 5 that say things like "handsome like daddy" "dad's sidekick" "rad like dad" etc...Mom's turn

Nothing is basic anymore. I went to Macro Baby and they had the most complicated things. DH of course (techy geek nerd) thought they were all must haves. He even wanted a formula kuerig looking machine; I breastfeed. -_-
Consignment shop are great with basic things. Try there.
There's another person with my screen name here. Why would you do that? I came over here the night everything imploded and there was no other petrichor so I ditched the numbers. She signed up with numbers then took them off of her display name. I only realized it when I was reading a thread and someone had quoted her and I thought, "I never wrote that." Sigh. Not sure if I should just ignore it or change my display name.
On another note, on the way home from work yesterday I bought everything I need to make hot fudge brownie sundaes. Now I need to muster up enough energy to bake the brownies.

t1green That's me as well with the dogs. I swear, once we have more space for them to run (and aren't renting) I want a whole pack following me around. I'm a sucker for a good ugly rescue mutt with a heart of gold.
