laurski81 That does suck. Does lipstick hide it? I'm surprised it went back to how it was after breaking open- how annoying!
Yeah I can kind of mask it with makeup but I have to be careful not to aggravate more. It is pretty small compared to some of the pictures I have seen online (thank god) and honestly if you didn't know what it was it does look like a pimple. But when it's on your own face you feel like it is so much more prominent then it actually is...you know?
trixi282 I've never had a cold sore before and from what I read this isn't caused by that virus. It is a vascular lesion or something and that's why when it bled it bled so much. I guess it could look like cold sore but I'm honestly not even sure. The best way to describe what mine looks like is a larger pimple.
Hmm @laurksi81 that still doesn't sound like fun. If you call your doc, I'd be interested in what they say. I'm sure its not as bad as it feels/seems. But I know I hate getting a big ol zip neat my lip (or anywhere for that matter) because I always feel 10x more self conscious about how I look.
Just popping in for a quick hello. I have my third blood draw this morning. It'll be a STAT draw so I'll have a better idea early afternoon if the pregnancy is viable or not.
I've been trying to be positive that right now I am pregnant and my numbers are rising, so there's a small chance things can be okay. But realistically, it'll prob be a miscarriage. Waiting sucks.

You guise. Seriously how did you survive the first trimester with a toddler? I'm not puking or anything but every time I move I feel like I'm going to. Any tips appreciated. Honestly I don't remember feeling like this during pregnancy number 1.

laurski81 Thanks for asking! Nope... nothing.... nada. Just sitting around big and pregnant! I still want to make it to Friday but after that, they can come ANYTIME... and by anytime, I mean within a couple of days of 36 weeks

The nausea this time around was really rough! I found that chewing gum and sucking on lemon drops or ginger candy really helped. But there were definitely times I was in survival mode and praying for my H to get home from work.

I was actually really thankful for my desk job. Having an empty stomach always caused the worst nausea for me. Also, go to bed early! Like as soon as DD was down, so was I.

This was me as well. Not because of nausea but strictly because I was (and am) so fucking exhausted all the time. When it was just me with Henry at night I would wash up and be fully ready for bed when I did his nighttime routine with him because I couldn't keep my eyes open and he wouldn't go down before 10:15/10:30pm. Now that my H can get him to bed by 9:15pm (knock on wood), I can at least take a nice shower and relax a bit before I am in bed no later than 10pm.

Thanks ladies. I'm always in bed by 10 but will pick up some lemon drops. Hopefully that will help. My H has been a godsend this weekend and I don't know how to survive the rest of the week without him!!

What everyone else said - hard candy/early bed/helpful husband. And I will add - it's OK to be a terrible mom right now. I would plop Ingrid down in the den and then crash on the couch in the fetal position so many times because moving around made me feel like I would hurl. I felt bad about not playing with her or really even interacting with her but this time will pass so quickly and they won't remember it so do what you gotta do to survive and don't feel guilty about it!
I didn't really have the nausea too bad, except first thing in the morning I had to eat within 10-15 minutes. But there were times she would scream for me in the morning before I had a chance to do anything else I and I felt so bad with my short temper. Thankfully that passed fairly quickly.
However the exhaustion is still in full swing with me. I honestly try to keep up with her, but just when I think I have a little energy mid day, I'm reminded that I'm starting to lose my breath quicker... or I can't bend over/squat down the same way, I get lightheaded, or too much pressure in my stomach...
Pretty much what everyone else said. H helped a lot with preparing meals even making lunches ahead of time because I couldn't handle the food prep process.
I definitely allow more screen time than usual. We also hole up in the basement and I watch him play toys from the couch just counting down to nap time.
I guess I don't have much advice but you aren't alone! It's tough being pregnant with a toddler!
We are definitely having more screen time than usual. Also found that Mira loves playdough and we sit on the couch and pull the coffee table to us so we sit comfortably. She can play with playdough for a good 30-40 mins. We also read a lot of books and playing with her dollhouse so I'm sitting for those activities. I can't do chase with her so we march a few times around the house instead lol.
