Is anyone else more worried with this pregnancy? I feel like I've read so many stories lately and even though I'm 18 weeks I'm still worried something will go wrong.

Yes. I feel like I have been worrying so much more this time around. I'm not sure if it is just being exposed to more Moms or stories or what but I feel the same way.

Great! Heartbeat at 165, measuring right on time and got a pretty good profile pic. Maybe my body works better with deadlines. I made the appt last time too for after Christmas and got pg in oct. this time I made it and got pg in nov. Maybe the threat of actually going was enough for me. Also got my blood drawn for the genetic screening so waiting for those results in 7-10 days. Then we might start telling people.
I have my first appointment today! It was supposed to be tomorrow but there's some nasty weather predicted so they switched it to today. It's still early (5w6d by my guess) but I'm too impatient to wait longer. I have no idea what to expect since this is a different practice than who I saw for Robin.

Anyone further than 15 weeks, did you notice that your bump eventually slowed down? Like I'm 15 weeks and look like I did at 20+ with Sadie. Am I destined to look 60 weeks pregnant?

Yes! I feel like I really popped this time around 16 weeks, kept getting bigger until about week 21 and then leveled off a bit. I mean I am bigger now then I was a 21 weeks but I feel like my bump now just maintains a slow consistent growth.
Speaking of bump growth, when did you break out the maternity clothes this time around?
I finally broke down last weekend (14w) and cleared out my closet, and unpacked all my maternity clothes. I've been wearing the pants at work for a while now (maybe 8w-ish), the bloat was unreal and so uncomfortable. My dress pants are just a demi panel though so they're good for this time right now, I'm just starting to "show" versus just look fat and bloated.
I brought them out over Christmas (6 w or so) because of the bloat but now I'm back to regular with a belly band. As soon as I get home though, I'm in yoga pants. My bloat is way worse at night. Bottom part of my belly is really hard, top part is just Patrick leftovers. I figured I may as well get my money's worth since this is probably it for us. Wear the stretchy pants while you can.
I just started breaking out my demi panel jeans about 2 weeks ago (16wks). But most all of my other clothes I'm still wearing.
That said, I had lost 25+lbs leading up to getting pregnant and most of my pants were really lose and needed to be altered or I needed to buy new, but then I found out I was pregnant.... so now I'm just wearing my "fat pants" until I have to break out the prego pants.
My 2 pairs of work pants I had from J were full panel, so I think I need to get a new pair of pants to wear... Not sure how I made it so long with 2 pairs of maternity work pants and 2 pairs of jeans (1 demi, 1 full)!!
Well I looked 20 weeks at like 10 weeks. But I'm back to looking normal now. I can get away with regular clothes again. But it's not pretty. Apparently it was a lot of bloat. I look about right I think now. Definitely slowed down recently
I started wearing maternity pants really early around 10 weeks and started wearing maternity shirts around 12 weeks. I'm 18 weeks and as big as I was at 21 weeks with Mira. My boobs are already bigger than when I had my milk come in with Mira which is crazy to me. The lady that measured me said she thought I'd be up another cup size by the end of my pregnancy. So I've gone from like no boobs to huge boobs that hurt if I don't wear a bra.
Oh and I have my anatomy scan tomorrow so we'll find out if it's a boy like DH thought.
I forgot how much I love activia when pregnant. I started it a couple of weeks ago and I feel so much better. Less rumbling in the stomach and definitely not as constipated. The only one I can manage is the key lime and it has to be pretty early in the morning but definitely worth it. Oh, and gummy worms are saving me in the afternoon right now. I'm sure I'll have 10 cavities by the time I'm done.
Also, when do you guys plan on telling people? Is it different this time around?

I try to eat yogurt everyday and usually stick to one of the Greek varieties. I still get pretty bloated though, although I am not constipated. Do you notice a big difference with taking Activia rather then another type of yogurt? Maybe I should try something different.
This time around I told immediate family (parents, H's parents, and our siblings) after my first U/S at 8 weeks. We waited until we had the results of our 1st trimester screening and U/S to tell extended family, so around 13 weeks, and then I think I told everyone else around 15 weeks. Oh...and I told all of you ladies seconds after the pee stick dried
We did pretty much the same the first time around too.
laurski81 I used to eat oikos greek but I did notice a difference when I switched to activia. I was to the point of trying anything and now I don't want to switch. I'm not sure it helped with bloating or that just got better the further I got but I just had a rumbly stomach with lots of digestive trouble and that got better within a couple of days. Anything is worth a try when I felt like that.

We told our parents around 6ish weeks this time, last time was 8 weeks after our first US. We told family ~12 weeks at Christmas again. We came out on facebook a lot sooner this time, H was super excited so I let him go.
We actually told people later this time, but more so because of the fact that we moved. We were going to tell family/friends at 12 wks again (like the 1st) at Thanksgiving. But we found out the day before that H officially got his new job and we'd be moving to MN... So thanksgiving turned into "He got the job, we're moving!"
And we decided to wait and tell everyone in person, so it was closer to 15/16 weeks when we told most people. However something very different this time is that we still haven't said anything socially... I think I might do something this weekend on FB, and I'll be 19wks tomorrow. But I have something in mind and it will take a bit of coordination. H was ok with waiting this time a bit longer, and I think now he's forgotten that it's not public yet. haha.
