I would love to go into labor sooner than later. I'm 37w1d and so flipping uncomfortable. I've been having tons of pain/pressure in my lower back and really bad lightning crotch. Baby girl goes all ninja in the evenings and sometimes I think she's trying to exit through my belly button. Pooping gives me contractions. I also kind of feel like a ticking time bomb with my blood pressure...it's been fine so far but I didn't have issues with Robin until 37 weeks. So I'm crossing my fingers and hoping I go into labor before any potential problems arise.
britbratjf,Just stalking this thread, but you are impressive! I don't even have the energy to have sex twice on a normal day, let alone at 38 weeks pregnant I hope it pays off!

Also has anyone dealt with carpel tunnel from pregnancy? Because it's just super fun. My middle, pointer & ring finger have a permanent getting ready to fall asleep tingling & I can barely hold utensils. So so so ready to be done.

I am doing OK and actually feel pretty good. I feel so much better than I did with E.
britbratjf, I have been getting weird wrist/carpel tunnel symptoms lately. I notice it is worse when I am doing a lot of typing/writing. It seems to go away at night though. I think there are stretches you can do to help with it?

I am totally being a stalker. But I had this with both Vera and Elise. It went away right after Elise but not with Vera. I still have to sleep in a wrist brace at night
So I was up all night worrying about not feeling any movement at 18 weeks due to my anterior placenta. H had loaned out my doppler and the girl hasn't given it back so then I was just angry at him. I put on Bachelor in Paradise at 4:00 am thinking I would pass out but no, stayed up for the entire 2 episodes from this week. Fell asleep at 5:50 am only to have to wake at 6:30. Got ready as usual but when I got out of my car at work, I could barely walk. My lower back is causing all sorts of pain. Never had this with any of my pregnancies, hoping it is just a slept on it funny thing.

Things are going well over here. 22w5d today. My cervix is still nice and long, so that's looking good. I just realized today is the 25th, so that means Christmas is only 4 months away, which means she will be here in 4 months! Ahhh!

irish1213, My back has been bad lately. When I get out of bed I tend to hobble/bend over for a few minutes while I walk. I think it is the muscles stiffening up from laying down. Once I get moving things seem to loosen and I am Ok. Not sure how you sleep but I still sleep on my back some so I know this probably causes it.
Has anyone taken Diclegis for nausea? I just switched to a midwife and they gave me this medication in the hopes that I can have 1 freakin' day with a moment thats sickness-free.
Did just 2 tablets work? Did it make you very sleepy and for how long? I need to make sure I can get up in the morning, and I'm pretty sensitive to OTC sleep aids.

I'm dying here, you guys...
PUMP THE BRAKES!!!! How did I miss an announcement that you're KTFU?!?!?!?! AHHHH, Congratulations, I'm so fucking happy for you right now, sending sticky dust, anti-nausea thoughts, and hoping you have a H&H 9mo!

Haha! No worries, you've been otherwise occupied for months--welcome home, Emmaline!
Thank you! Yup, about 8w along and feeling like I want to die!
The meds last night worked in that I didn't heave for 30min with my head in the bowl this morning, but I'm still drowsy. I'll try to cut the dose in half tonight, maybe? It was nice to eat actual food this morning...

MissMusic, I used it with this one. Honestly, it was OK. It took the edge of my nausea so I could at least function but I still felt like crap. I don't remember being sleepy on it though. I will say it did so something and was worth taking it. I ran out of it once and told my H it was not worth getting it refilled since I still felt like crap. Within a day I was back to vomiting in the toilets and miserable in cars. So it worked better than I gave it credit for.
I also tried Zofran for a week as well. I felt about the same as I did with the Dicelgis. However, Zofran had horrible side effects so I ended up sticking with the Diclegis until 15 weeks.
This pregnancy sucks so much more for me. I'm just starting the third tri. Somedays my back hurts, some days my tailbone hits while sitting at my desk, somedays I have what I think is round ligament pain...I am always having poop issues too Are some things supposed to be worse the second time?
britbratjf How are you hanging in?? Is there a heatwave where you are too? I feeling like I'm dying. Just when I thought I couldn't get more uncomfortable, we have 10-12 days of 90+ degree days.

OMG I'm dying. Last week was AMAZING- highs in the 70s, lows in the 50s & had out windows open all week. Now it's just so steamy! High 80s/90s and just HEAVY air! Ugh. It's terrible too because it's just way too hot to do anything outside with Dagny. Thank god preschool started this week! It's seriously the hottest it's been all summer. Are you in the northeast? I forget.

Ugh the worst! I'm in the Philly area so we've had highs of 95 all week. It's supposed to break for a day or two and then come back. I hate it. Preschool starts next week, thank god, because I seriously have no ability to parent anymore.
I'm feeling like such a newb with labor this time around. I'm just so freaking impatient! I keep googling every little thing to see if it might be a sign of labor.
The latest thing is I've started to have one noticeably more painful/uncomfortable contraction in a mixture of BH ones. So I'll have like 4-5 BH and then one painful one. Dr. Google has nothing useful to say about this. I guess I'll just be pregnant forever.

I am a newbie with labor! I had a scheduled csection with Dagny so I legit am worried I won't recognize contractions or something. I've had a lot of BH contractions and some have been more on the painful side but not super painful.
And - how do you time contractions? Is it like start of one contraction to the start of another? I just hope my water breaks so I know I'm for sure in labor ha!

You asking that question just made me realize I completely don't remember. I was induced with Robin and had no contractions before my induction so that information has slid into the blackhole of my mind.
We're both going to end up giving birth in the car.

britbratjf, Yes, It is from the start of one to the start of another. You will know it is labor because the contractions get more intense and become closer together. That sounds easy to say but trust me you will know. sarasansh, With E I was worried about knowing if I was in labor or not. When contractions started I just knew it was real labor. I just trusted my gut and felt that it was the real thing. It was.

I had a contraction timer app that was super helpful!! I don't remember which one but it was probably the first free one when you search the iTunes Store.
I timed like seven whole contractions before I wanted to climb out of my skin and die. You'll know when it's real.

Google the purple line in your butt crack. I forget what its called. It is suppose to show how dilated you are. Lots of midwives talk about it. I checked mine a lot.
