Seriously, the boogies are getting to me. I remember getting more snotty when I was pregnant with Joey, but not like this. I have horrible thick mucus that usually also has blood in it too. I know it's gross, but I'm blowing my nose like 4-5 times a day and using 2-3 tissues each time.
But in between it's like my nose is a dessert and it's dry to the point that it's uncomfortable... then randomly I find myself sniffling and it's thick, not runny, and I blow my nose and it's like I haven't done it in days. What a weird combination, how does that even happen?!

Ugh...this is me right now too. It just started happening maybe a week ago. I initally thought that I was getting sick but nope...just real snotty.
I had my ultrasound this morning and everything looked great! Got to hear the heartbeat and I'm measuring one day ahead of my guess, with an EDD of 9/15/15.
I forgot how bad the whole full ladder thing is. I also starting drinking and then there was a huge backup at registration for outpatient procedures, so I kept having to "half pee." Which is pretty much as bad as not peeing at all. Especially since in the end they did a transvaginal ultrasound so I needed an empty bladder instead!

I had my A/S postponed for the second week in a row because of snow. Now I'm getting anxious. I'm much calmed this pregnancy than the last 2. But I am ready now to see baby again.
So I had my 28 week appointment today and asked my OB about the thing on my lip. Yep, it's a pyogenic granuloma. She said I'm actually the third patient she's had in the last few months to have one. She told me not to mess with it because even if I try to drain it, it will just come back. It has to do with the pregnancy hormones causing increased vascular growth. She said it could go away on its own but most likely would not happen until after the baby is born and even then it may not go away. She said that if it is still there after the baby is born she would refer me to a cosmetic surgeon because that would be the only way to get rid of it. Awesome
Oh laurski81, boo. That doesn't sound like a good answer. I'm sorry. I really hope it goes away on its own, sooner rather than later.
TC? My boobs are leaking already and I have been putting breast milk/colostrum (whatever is coming out right now) on it...it's supposed to cure everything right?
are any of you having extreme sensitivity in your teeth? I'm really hoping I don't have a cavity but a few teeth on my bottom right side are super sensitive to everything.

gk12 I don't this time around but I remember with one of my other pregnancies it was really bad. And I went to the dentist and he said that pregnancy can effect everything. Including teeth and gums. So it could be that! But wouldn't hurt for a check up either

When j was brushing this morning my teeth hurt so bad!! I also heard a dental check up without X-rays during pregnancy is good.
Ok I think I'll call in the morning and see if they can get me in soon. I totally forgot about the no x-ray bc of the baby in belly lol. So they won't be able to tell if I have a cavity without one right?

Hmmmm. Not sure. I would think a veteran dentist would be able to see other indicators.
Yeah, my teeth were super sensitive with Graham and my gums actually bled several times when I brushed my teeth. So gross. This time around, I'm just noticing sensitivity to cold... Which could just be from all the popsicles I've been eating
My first US is Thursday afternoon and I'm super nervous for some reason this time!
gk12, they don't need an x-ray to check for cavities, it just helps them confirm and see potential other issues which is why they only do 1/yr. typically.
I went to the dentist while pregnant with J, and very early on in this pregnacy and they told me that all of that is pretty normal: sensitivity and swollen/sensitive/bleeding gums. But its good to still get cleanings and checkups during pregnancy.
Ok thanks laides. I kinda hate going to the dentist and FC alert I haven't been in over 2 years ?
I will make an appointment. Random thought have any of your J12 kids gone to the dentist? I'll ask them what age they start here when I call but I'm curious who's gone and experiences?
gk12 Robin's been to the dentist twice with my H, at 2 years and then about a month ago. He talked to his dentist (he's a family dentist so he does kids and grown ups) and he told us to bring him in to get him familiar and each time they'd try to do a little bit more. So far he's sat in the chair and that's about it. MH is in charge of Robin's dental health--I have severe anxiety about dentists/dental work and I want to make sure I don't pass it on to R!
I think someone else mentioned this, but my boobs are already the size they were when I was BFing Robin. They're going to take over my entire body by the end!
gk12 Yeah it's crazy! I went from a small B to a full D with Robin, and they went down to a C when I stopped BFing. I'm definitely already back at a D...I dread thinking what they'll look like in 9 months!
abseptember how are you doing? Any further progress or news?
elizdg I must have missed your announcement! Congrats girl!
Blah.... no progress since last apt set induction for Feb 6. Estimated weights are 6#9oz and 6#. Thanks for asking! Hope to have news soon! I saw your bump pic... you look great!
abseptember Hopefully those babies get the memo it's time to come out soon! My cousin's wife had twins a few years ago...9lb and 8lb14oz! Biggest ever born in Ohio.
Does anyone else have/remember not being able to breathe after eating? I feel like there are 10 pounds of food sitting directly on my lungs. I didn't have this with either pregnancy. And it seems early for anything like this. Blah. Damn babies.
