Sup ladies. I am a 28 (29 in March) year old FTM residing in Sandy Eggo. Annabelle was born February 8th, and DH and I will have been married 3 years in April. We met in college down here, on the day of the big music festival at our school. He impressed me with his beer pong skills; that is what really won me over.
In addition to DD, we have our furbaby Toby, a 12 (ish, we don't know his complete history) dachshund beagle mix. He is a lazy sweetheart.
I was a bioengineering major, and went on to be a lab tech for 5.5 years in a clinical reference lab. I am now back in school in a full time internship program for my clinical laboratory scientist certification. I will be done in September! H and I would like to move up to nor cal where our family is in the next few years. His company may be opening a branch there in 2017, and he would get first dibs so that would be wonderful. And fortunately (or unfortunately) there is becoming a huge need for CLS in CA because the average age is 55 and many people are on the brink of retirement, so there is almost a guarantee I will be able to find a job if/when we move.
I used to be majorly into running half marathons, but slowed down a lot in pregnancy and after having DD. I am slowly getting back into it, and back into Pilates which is my favorite. I love cooking when I have the time. I golf. This is news to no one.

am i too late to the party!? djtippietoes i love this! definitely needed a refresher on everyone.
Im Ali. i'm 27 and FTM to Charly who was born on 2/12. Ive been with the BF (who is 38) for almost 6 years now and though we have our issues, he's my very best friend and i don't know where i'd be if i hadn't met him. We live in the super hot desert of SoCal where it gets 120+ during the summer. its awful but its home and i love it. Ive actually never seen snow in person. We live with and take care of my grandpa who is 83 years old. Sadly he's getting worse so the bf and i are currently looking for a place to live so grandpa can get better care which he needs.
I was a bartender and in food and beverage management for 6 years and i recently switched career fields and now working in accounting! Its just a stepping stone to work in HR though which is my dream job. The bf works in golf at a country club. I have baby fever but were waiting to TTC until at least the summer to make sure we will be financially sound and in our own place.
Im obsessed with YouTube and i make videos though they aren't very good. i love target, amazon, starbucks, knitting and crocheting, and pinning things on pinterest that i never actually get around to doing. oh. and i use my crockpot at least twice a week. i love to cook but lazy. Oh and were big sports people, 49ers, Giants, Ohio State Buckeyes.
Great idea! I loved reading all of these! I'm a kindergarten teacher and I live in the Bay Area. I'm one of the oldest here at 39. DH and I got married when I was 37, had DD Avery Rose at 38, and we have a little boy on the way, due the day before my 40th bday. I love reading, cooking, and baking, and taking pictures of DD.

Hai! It's me, the former inluv4life and inluv4life2! (Early bump glitch caused me to ditch the first)
I live near San Diego w DH, DD who's 5 and DS who will be one on 2/22. DH and I married in 2007 after dating for three years. We were introduced by a mutual friend shortly after I moved here from Dallas.
I don't really have any hobbies right now but I've been a knitter, baker, cook, avid reader, and writer of haikus in the past. I hope to do those things and more in the future. Like in 18 years??
I love yoga, hate running and eat a bowl ice cream almost every night. Other vices include diet coke (which I'm trying to ditch) and cheese (which I will never ditch).
I'm type A at work (local govt) and type B at home of that's even possible. ENFP for lyfe!
I've been around since my BFP w DS but was a big TK participant in 2006/7 and still have really great friends from then that I see and talk to all the time.
I have no pets, yet. I want a cat and a dog. But I hate birds as pets due to a traumatic experience as a teen.
We have way too much in common. Our babies are birthday twins, I think you said your birthday is in March... Don't tell me your birthday is March 5th babybunnysmama! That would be way too weird! And awesome.
Budding in here March 5th is my son Emerson birthday- he will be 6 and was my first stubborn baby! He wouldn't flip outta a frank breech position and was my first(now I have had 3) c section!!! He is the sweetest yet determined little guy ever? Wonder if that is a trait of his sign
I'm 32 and a FTM from South Jersey. I work as an electrical engineer in R&D, but I do more systems engineer (MS from Penn State). I like my job most days, but I'm not sure it's what I want to do the rest of my life.
DH and I met right after I graduated college (2005). We actually met through a friend of my boyfriend at the time. Oops! We got married in 2008. Our furbaby is Gus, a 5 year old mastiff mix. You've probably seen his big mug on IG.
I crochet and do decorated sugar cookies in my spare time (what's that?) for a business my sister and I own. I enjoy writing, and I'm working on my 4th e-book.
I'm an avid weight lifter and I just started to get back into yoga. I find that it really helps with my anxiety and it's also helped rehab some old hip issues.
I'm pretty sure we'll start TTC again later this year, but I'm not 100% ready yet. DS is awesome, but a handful and my BF experience was pretty awful so I'm trying to give my heart and my mind some time to recover.
I'm only about 1/2 way through the thread, but wanted to jump in while I have a second on my laptop.
I'm a FTM to a boy, W. I'm 30 and he'll be 1 in less than 2 weeks! He was 3 weeks early. I thought for sure I'd be in the SFP club, but he had different plans. DH and I met in college. I work in nonprofit marketing, he is in for-profit marketing. We want to try for #2 sooner rather than later, but logistics and daycare costs are holding us back. No pets yet, but we'll probably get a dog when W starts asking for one. I'm not crafty at all. Like, hanging a pre-made birthday banner is as good as it gets.
sakura0019 We were team green even though I knew W would be a boy. Isla was the only girl name on our list, and by list I mean MH doesn't like it (thinks the spelling is "weird," whatever.) but I think I would've convinced him. I love love love the name.
Thanks for starting this, djtippietoes! It's been a good refresher.
And now I have to get ready for my hell of a commute (I'm in a part of Ohio that apparently has no knowledge of snow plows and salt trucks.)
Hi a little late like usual. I live in North Eastern PA.
I'm 29, going to be 30 in April. DH is 31. LO was born 2/18/14 she is our first. We live in a house that's kinda falling apart in a not really great town because as a 21 year old I knew nothing about buying a house and was taken big time. I think I'll be stuck here forever.
I don't really have any hobbies, I like baking and cooking. I like wine, vodka, and rum but really I don't discriminate with alcohol if its there I'll take it.
I have three dogs and five cats(DH brought two with). Its way too much and so hard to keep up with now that we had LO, but we manage. I married DH a few months after my BFP, we were together 2 years at that point. He moved in four days after we met. I'm kind of impulsive when it comes to big decisions, but mundane things like cereal or conditioner take me hours to decide. I all of a sudden one day quit my job of 10 years managing a gas station and now I'm a home health aide and I really like it most of the time. It's just in my nature to take care of people I guess. I've been taking care of my mother most of my life. After LO was born my mother was diagnosed with stage IV colon cancer, it was one hell of a year.
Count me late too, not just here but to everything these days. FTM to B/G twins Joey and Althea who turned one on 1/8. They were born 5 weeks early due to pre-e.
I'm 38 and married for 11 years. DH and I are both from SW OH. We currently live in MI. I'm a residential interior designer turned SAHM. Due to my husband's military career we have lived in MI twice, Milwaukee ,WI, and St. Louis, MO since we've been married. If the stars align he will be able to retire when the babies are ready for kindergarten and we can finally plant roots somewhere.
We have two cats and an 12 yr old black lab.
I'm still trying to navigate here on mobile and haven't a clue...
I'm cyclone. I worked as a meteorologist in Texas but ended up moving back to my home state of MN when little dude came into the picture.
DH and I met at University and were together for 4 years before we both were offered jobs on the opposite ends of the country. Will necessitated the need for both of us to be in the same place, so I moved to DH. We were legally married in Oct of 13 and had a small ceremony this past May. We recently moved to the middle of the state when H received a promotion that placed him a step closer to his dream job.
I now work as a 911 dispatcher for a county in the Twin Cities metro and am hoping to make a transition to emergency management in a few years. I receive many interesting calls... you can't make some of those stories up
I'm 30, FTM to our DD J-Bug who I refuse to believe will be one in 2 weeks. I'm a clinical social worker, specializing in treating substance abuse, psychosis and trauma. I oversee clinical operations in a number of group homes and supported housing programs for teens and adults with major mental illness. MH is a senior assurance manager with a public accounting firm, which means we'll see him again in daylight sometime in May. ;-) I met MH at band camp... seriously. We're both proud alumni of our college marching band. We got married in 2007. We're currently TTC our next and last baby, though this has been complicated by my being worked up for a possible autoimmune or endocrine disorder.
Outside of all that, I love to cook and am a decent baker, but can't decorate anything I make worth a damn. I also sing with my church choir and serve on the board of a small, new non-profit helping women who have been victims of the commercial sex trade. I'm obssessed with beverages, including but not limited to tea, coffee, Diet Pepsi and wine. I'm also a political junkie, NPR devotee and avid trivia nerd. My dream in life is to be on Jeopardy. I've made it as far as the in person audition but wasn't called to actually be on the show. One day...
Late jumping in here. I love that everyone is doing this, I was a little late getting on F14 in the preggo days so I missed a lot of intros.
I'm a FTM to Xander who will be one on 2/17. I'm 32 (33 in March) and DH is 32 as well. We met in 2003 through my BF from high school who he went to college with. We were married in June 2010 and live in Connecticut where we are both originally from. I'd moved to Queens when I was 18 for college and would love to still live in the city, but i've come to accept that we are suburban folk.
I'm in sales, I sell industrial printers to businesses in the sign, print, graphics, marketing industries. Super exciting right? DH owns his own swimming pool company. He started it 4 years ago and it's grown so much, i'm so proud of him. Our goal is that eventually I can stop my job and work for his company so I can have more flexibility in my schedule. I already do his books, taxes, social media, so it'll just really be more of an official thing.
We have two Boston Terrier fur babies, Ari Gold who is 8 and Carrie Bradshaw who is 6. Xander loves playing with them and I love seeing them all together.
I love traveling, fashion, crockpotting, the beach, summer, movies, the Mets and the Jets. I'm not crafty but wish I was and am super jealous of all the crafty mamas on here. Oh, and I cut off all my hair once and it was terrible! I love short hair, just not on me.
Hiiiii!!! I did a quick intro on the name change/coming out of hiding thread but I'll post again!
I was originally part of J14 with my handle as my full name so I never really participated much. So I decided to come over here and change it up and join you all since J14 fizzled out a bit.
30 year old from the Philadelphia area with a beautiful, happy, sassy now 1 year old daughter, Olive. I met my husband in college and we have been married since 2011. We have an 8.5yr old Scottish terrier named Duncan.
I love cooking, crafting, decorating, eating good food, eating good cheese, wine, reading, beaching, spending time outside (mostly drinking on patios,) and recently took up cross stitching and have been thinking about opening an Etsy shop taking orders for personalized cross stitch family portraits (the cute little stick like figure guys, not based actual photos.) I did Pilates up until I delivered DD and then started again 8 weeks PP but had to stop bc it was really affecting my milk supply. I'm looking forward to starting again soon now that she is almost done breastfeeding!
Glad to join this group of women. Hope you'll have me!
Recent lurker who came out of hiding. I'm a 32 year FTM to Wes who turns 1 on February 19. I work full time in finance, minus the hours and commute, I really do enjoy being a working Mom. DH and I are on the fence about being OAD or wanting a 2nd. We live in eastern PA, but I'm originally from Oregon and went to college in Eastern Washington (wassup buffaluffagus).
FFMC? I'm not sure what college you went to, but I have some idea based on prior conversations. I am wildly curious if you were in the matching band at the same time as two of my dear friends who also went to that school and who also met in band and ended up married. Or, you didn't go to that school, or not at the same time, and I'm a major creeper.

f14mama I'm pretty much throwing up East Siyyyyyde gang signs right now. If I hear one more person comment on how lush and green and rainy it is in Washington... ack! Because a third of the state? Not so lush. Not so green. Kind of brown and dry and also snowy and, ya know, not Seattle.
buffaluffagus I think 3/4 of the state should just be named "not Seattle", like 6/8 of Oregon should be named "not Portland". Because I've lived in eastern Oregon and in Portland, and the differences couldn't be greater. "Craft Beer" to people in eastern Oregon means Bud Lime. (said in snooty Portland hipster voice)

This is great! I started my lurkig in the third tri so I missed a lot of this and have been using mamosey like Wikipedia for all of you.
I'm 34 FTM and mamosey's wife. I am a nationaly certified ASL Interpreter and got my BS in Interpreting. I have worked staff positions in the past but am currently self employed. I work about 24 hours a week and am a SAHM 2 days a week. Fun little note on me, right while we were in the middle of TTC R, I got accepted to a master's program to become an NP. I thought having R was right around the corner so I declinded the spot I still have 5 years left to reapply.
I am currently trying to get mamosey to move back to Chicago
