Anyone want to do a re-intro thread

I know we all know each other for the most part, but I thought it might be fun to do a re-intro thread. I'm sure we all have those people who we recognize their screen names but don't really remember much about them.  That was terrible grammar, but you get what I mean.

I can start (and possible be the only one posting if no one else is interested!). 

I'm 36, FTM and live in Atlanta.  I've been married since June of 2010.  I work full-time as a marketing specialist and manage my company's email marketing program.  MY DH is a local news producer and works overnights.  We have a golden retriever named Murphy.  Pre-baby, I was really into healthy living and working out, primarily running.  Now, I'm trying to get back into it.

I am a 27 year old ftm to a beautiful little girl, Lena,who will be one March 8th. I am a nurse currently working on a VIP nursing unit a few days a month (PRN) I was full time before lo. Dh is an emergency medicine resident and will finish residency in June. We got married in October 2012. We have two fur babies, Winnie and Carson, who are lab mixes. We are also currently expecting lo #2 in September!

I'm 28 and a ftm to Adam who will be a year on Friday. My husband and I started dating when we were 15 and got married in 2008. We live in Central MA, but grew up in CT where all our families still live. I'm a computer programmer full time and telecommute, and a photographer part time. DH is a SAHD and music director at our church. We have 2 kitties, crazy tortie cat, and high maintenance medical issues black cat.

Yes, I'm glad you did this. I kept thinking about asking because I was guilty of going back at looking at people's post history to reread their intros to refresh my memory sometimes.


I live in the Oklahoma panhandle. I teach language arts at the smallest school you can imagine. I've been married three years this summer. My husband works at an office supply place repairing photocopiers and other tech work. LO is our only child, but my teenage BIL lives with us during the week to go to school out here. We have a dog named Oliver who we adopted from the pound. When people ask what breed he is I say generic. He is in my Siggy and has a pretty good trick repertoire. Someday I'll make a video to AW with you all.

That's probably what I would have put at the old place, since we all know each other more now I'll add that I've struggled with depression off and on my whole life just like my mom did. She was disabled by a stroke and complications from MS at an early age and lived with me for six years before dying of cancer more than three years ago. It kills me everyday that she didn't live to see me have kids. She adored my brothers two eldest kids, and was so impatient to meet some of mine. My brother had a set of twins three months after LO was born. They are expecting twins again in March. Hoping and praying for the other half of the Irish quads to arrive safely. I know my mom would be overjoyed to see seven grandkids.

I want to be one and done, DH wants at least one more. We shall see how that plays out.

I'm 34, a former lawyer turned SAHM as of November. DH and I have been married for 5 years. We met in law school and he is a prosecutor. We live in central PA with our two Pomeranians and DS, of course, who will be one on January 29. We hope to TCC again very soon. My hobbies are running, reading and horseback-riding.

I'm a 34 year old ftm to a stubborn yet adorable little girl. She definitely inherited my personality! DH is my second husband, and we've been married since 2012. I'm a labor and employment litigation paralegal, but I dream of something else. I would much rather do something creative everyday! Before LO I had a second job which was a cupcake business. But there is no way I can do that with her right now. Maybe one day...

We live in Dallas, but I don't really consider this my home. I grew up moving every couple years and this just happens to be the place I settled. DH and I are planning to move closer to my parents in Washington one day

Edit: fur babies...I have 4 cats. If I wasn't married, I would definitely hold a crazy cat lady card. They are Xena, Gizzy, Adolf and House.

I was just thinking about this the other day.

I'm 30, will be 31 in March, and live in SW Ohio. MH is 35 as of yesterday. I'm a FTM to Alexander (Alex) who will be one Feb. 8th. I work full-time as a Quality Assurance Systems Engineer for a Medical Device Company. MH works in Quality for the same company. We have 3 furbabies; 2 mini dachshunds Lula and Brody, and one giant cat, Sylvester. In the little spare time I have, I like to work on DIY home projects and decorate. If I could choose another career, it would be interior design.

I'm a 5'6" Aries from Wisconsin, originally from eastern Washington. I'm a SAHM and have a threenager daughter and a 1 year old (AAAAAACK!) as of next Saturday. I like wine, beer, vodka, gin, and long walks on the beach. I also work out a lot and have a blog that I never update and am almost never online anymore which is lame. But I do a ton of online shopping.
ETA: Also, F14 encouraged me to cut all my hair off in August and life has never been the same.

What happened to the AMAs?

I'm a 27 (28 in March) year old mom to four boys. Oliver is eight, Oakley turns seven on Feb 22nd, Elliot turns five on Feb 8th, and Everett turns on Feb 21st.
DH and I went to high school together, and started in dating in college. We married in June 2006.
I'm a stay at home mom, but I do some work for my parents' business from home/after hours.
I enjoy sewing and quilting, Netflix, online window shopping, and I'm trying to get back into running.
We have a three year old black lab/Australian Shepard named Rocket, who is fairly brainless and wants to be on us or as close to us as possible at all times.
I'm originally from Canada, but I live in North Idaho now.

I'm a 35-year-old Michigander who lives in Chicagoland. I work as a senior publications manager (basically editor and project manager) for a medical nonprofit. Because I'm a loyal transplant, I still root for all of the Detroit teams.

I have a 12-year-old little man (from my first marriage) who is the most amazing dude in America (your mileage may vary).

DH and I met at work in 2008. I actually got to interview him and gave input on whether or not he should get the job. We were fast friends and it eventually turned into more. We got married in 2013 and pretty much immediately found out we were pregnant. LO is Mallory, and she is sweet, stubborn, adorable and funny.

I once discussed a substantial hair chop with my stylist and he gently told me that I don't have the right face shape for it. Limitations understood.

Fun idea! I'm a 36 year old FTM to my little guy who was born on 1/2. MH and I met through work and have been married since 2007. We have a 6-ish year old mini schnauzer named Henry that we rescued from the mean streets of the city MH grew up near.

I'm on the district staff for a major retailer in the US. MH just accepted a pretty generous severance package from the same retailer and is looking forward finding his dream job soon.

I love to read and watch movies, but have little time for both these days. I also love to cook (and eat) and make boozey cupcakes. I'm a sports nut, who lacks the hand eye coordination to excel at any of them. I'm also a wine and beer snob, just like MH.

I'm also Canadian, living in the burbs of Chicago.

I'm a 32 year old SAHM from central PA (woot woot! caer). I previously worked in commercial property mgmt but now I provide administrative support to my company one day a week. DH works in information systems. We got married on a very snowy day two years ago. About three years ago we bought a hobby farm but most of our 'hobbies' have been on hold since DS arrived. We have about 20 pastured hens and 4 indoor kitties. We like to spend our free time taking walks in the woods on our property.

lalaprep - it's amazing how many people meet in law school. At my old firm, I think like half of the attorneys were married to their law school SOs. We have a bunch of married couples from our class too.

I'm strangely excited to see how many ladies we have who are in their mid-30s. I sometimes think I'm one of the older people but I'm in good company!

I'm a 27 years old ftm, and Lily turns 1 on jan 29th.

I'm still on Mat leave, so have been a sahm for the past year. In March I go back to work at a credit union where I do loans and mortgages. I also do photography on the side. I love photos and I so wish I could do that ft. I have a ridiculous amount of photos of Lily. I just love capturing a moment and making it last forever.

DH is an electrician.

We met at 17, started dating at 20, and got married in 2010. My best friend also married his brother so that worked out well for us.

We have a 3 year old lab baby. He's such a crazy wild dog when he sees people, but he's really a wimp. In the summer he wouldn't go outside to pee if there was a wood bug on the deck...he runs bAck inside and hides under the table. He's crazy, but a sweetheart.

We will probably start ttc again this summer/early fall.

Hi!  I'm 29 and a FTM.  I've been married almost 8 years.  LO will be 1 on February 11th!  I am in the military so have done a lot of moving in the past several years.  I am currently in San Diego doing some training at a civilian hospital for a few years.  I'm enjoying the new area and being able to wear t-shirts in January! I have learned a lot from you ladies over the past 18 months and hope to continue to do so!

Yes!!! caer seems like all we know are lawyers and most of the couples are both lawyers. Tons of law school couples, or met at their firms. Good part: we get the demands of the other's job. Bad part: we have the same demands!

I intro'd a week-and-a-half ago. I'm 41 and mommy to Madeleine (2 years) and Andrew (11 months). I met and married DH back in 2007 and we're still going strong. I live in Norman, OK, but I'm originally from Wyoming. DH works in IT and I work for a juvenile detention center. We are through having kids although if we would have met sooner, who knows. We have 4 fur babies, 2 dogs, 2 cats.

I'm a 33 year old mom to an amazing little boy named Aaron. He was born 2/6 with Down Syndrome. It was a complete surprise at birth, despite having the NT screening. He luckily has no heart issues and is only experienced mild delays so far.

I've been married to my incredible DH 3 years this May. We live near Houston, Texas. We have a fatass cat who does very well with Aaron.

I am am Xray Tech by day, and a mom by night. I work FT and it sucks, despite the fact I love my job.

I love crafting when I have time- which is usually in my down time at work. I'm the resident Simpsons nerd, and I used to play roller derby. I love my F14 family & don't know where I'd be without them!

I'm 28 years old, originally from upstate NY, now living in MD. DH and I met in college and got married in March 2012. We are both special education teachers working in regionalized programs for students who have needs that can't be met in their home schools. They get bused to our programs.

Nora will be 1 on March 3 and Porter, the puggle, will be 4 in April. I officially stopped taking the pill yesterday, so I guess we are now trying again; yikes! We would love to have another baby now, wait about 3-4 years and then have 2 more.

DH and I both work 2nd jobs, so it doesn't leave for much spare time. So I guess in my off time, I enjoy grading papers and writing IEPs . Seriously though, DH coaches 3 soccer teams, so we spend a lot of time at the soccer field, which thankfully Nora really enjoys. This spring will be much different chasing her around instead of playing on the blanket watching the games; but I am counting it as my new exercise plan!

I'm 29 years old with two kids. A four year old son and a daughter who is my supposed-to-be-February-baby-but-was-actually-born-in-March. We live in western Massachusetts and have a lab, betta fish, and two frogs.

I'm a SAHM and DH is a medical resident, so we are broke and he's always at work. I like being outside so we are usually hiking or snowshoeing or swimming or sledding or skating or geocaching outside.

I'm originally from Long Island, NY, but moved to Charlotte, NC when I was 24 to pursue teaching. I have a master's in education and have done everything from teach Kindergarten to travel camp with teenage girls (yikes).

DH and I (like mamosey & karlamo‌) got together via a drunken St. Patrick's day celebration. It was actually the 2nd time we had met, the first time was 3 months earlier, DH cured my hiccups at a bar, and then I ran off. He picked me up on St. Patty's day with the line "so do you remember me?" I did not. We've been together ever since. Married in 2012.

While we were engaged DH got a job offer in the SW ohio area and we moved up here. He is from the area originally, so most of his family is nearby.

We also run an event planning business based on the bar crawl we met on.

I'm a 27 years old and became a SAHM as of August of last year. We live in Arizona, although I did much of my growing up in michigan. My H is a native here. I'm working on finishing my degree in elementary education and plan to return to work when I finish that in the spring of next year. H is a field service technician for the semi conductor industry. He travels fairly often.

Emma will be 1 in February 20th and we don't have any plans to TTC again for a while. Due to complications I had during her birth, my OB wants me to wait until she's 2.

We have 3 fur babies. 2 dogs (a min pin and a great dane) and a 18 pound cat. I love hiking, crafting, and reading.
