Well no real news to report, Jackson us gold steady weight wise and hus oxygen levels have remained between 30-40 the past few days.
I on the other hand am losing my mind. There is a ton of stuff to do still and between DH working all day and being here at night I'm not getting near enough done. Add into that the feeling that everyone and their brother has open access to him but me and that I have no control I'm hitting my stress limit pretty damn quick. It's amazing how you can just roll with the big punches but the little things knock you on your ass. I need vacation when this is all over.

Well baby boy had another good day yesterday. The where able to get his oxygen down to 30 at one point. He finished his antibiotics sometime last night. He had his blood gases (the amount of oxygen in his blood) and electrolytes checked Wednesday snd everything looked good also. He's tolerating his feedings like a boss, hes up to 22 or 23ml 8 times a day which doesn't seem like a lot until you actually see it in the syringe and then it's hard to figure out where he puts it. He becoming much more alert when they do his assessments so he'll open his eyes and look around, I love seeing his eyes.

Well baby Jackson has had a good weekend. His ventilator has been steady at anywhere between 30-45 depending on how he's laying and when he eats. They sometime have to bump his settings up when he eat because of reflux. A few of his vent settings have also been lowered so more good news there. He had labs done this week everything came back normal except his sodium was a little bit low so they so they increase his dosages he gets with his food. He's gained more weight so he's 3lbs 10ozs now, so growing like a camp.
He also learned a new trick today, he's able to life his head up off the bed while laying on his stomach now, by like three inches and judging by the way he was squirming will be on his was to crawling way way way before I'm ready. The kid has amazing motor control and strength.

So baby Jackson had a very big day and gave us a very happy surprise when we got in today. His blood gasses where so good that he got moved onto his old ventilator which means we'll be able to hold him again tomorrow! I'm sooooo excited!!! They said he is also running about 30-40 on this ventilator too so his breathing has so far remained the same through the switch which is awesome. His blood sugar was a bit high so they are watching that very closely but over the day has been slowly going down so hopefully it works it's self out and isn't a problem. But all and all an amazingly awesome day!
That is fantastic!! He looks so much bigger now too! Crossing my fingers everything stays positive so you get some snuggles.
He is getting so big so quick. He's at 3lbs 10oz now and almost 16inches. He's gaining weight on a consistent basis now and I couldn't be happier about it.

Well it's been a while since I've posted about baby boy. Up until today he's been slow and steady but he hit two major markers this week. Yesterday he hit 4 pounds and today when we came in he was moved from the ventilator to a cpap machine! That's huge! DH and I are so excited. One more step closer to going home. He was also given a pacifier today because he is still on a feeding tube and has been working on his sucking he's doing pretty well he can't keep it in his mouth on his own but the nurse said that's ok. Im not sure when the feeding tube will come out.

Well Jackson had a good weekend. He's adjusting to the cpap well and has been able to have his settings lowered slightly already. His oxygen went from 33 down to 30 and him cpap number was lowered from a 5 to 4. He weighs 4lb 5oz now so he trucking right along. The nurses are getting us invloved in more and more of hus daily care which is nice. It's feeling like we're actual parents rather than spectators just there to observe. We to dress him for the first time to, which I got an insane amount of joy from. I'm so excited with the progress he's making.
