LO has a flat spot on his head. We try different positions. He hates tummy time but we still do it through out the day. I'm sure it's nothing but I'll be asking the Dr at his 4month check up.
We're here too. V likes to sleep with her head flat back (rather than one side), so despite all the tummytime/carrying/babywearing she is getting a flat spot smack in the back. Hopefully it smoothes out as she gets more mobile :/

For those who have or are transferring out of the swaddle, what do you dress baby in when it's hot out? We don't have central air and the window units really only take the edge off when it's really hot. I'm worried a sleeper maybe too hot.

We do a short sleeve onsie under the Merlin and she has been fine. Only once was she clearly too hot, and she let us know (and I turned the air on and then she was fine). I will say, I don't feel like she runs hot if that makes sense. She seems to prefer the warmth and only gets sweaty or seems overheated when she is crying.

So I've mentioned before that J is a hot kid. I can't even tell you how many times I've taken her temperature because she feels so warm and it's not feverish.
If I swaddle her at all it's only from the waist down, and that's usually when her two cotton sleep sacks are both in the wash. I have been dressing her in a onesie with a sleep sack on top (if AC is on) or just the sleep sack (no AC).
What car accessories do you have? LO hates being in the back by himself. I purchased one of those attachable toys. He enjoys it for a bit and then he's over it. I haven't purchased a mirror because my backseat does not have a headrest in the middle. I think someone else mentioned this....can't remember who?

E falls asleep 15 seconds after he gets in the car, every time. Is this just because he's still little (11 weeks)? Or did I just luck out?

V screams the entire time she's in her car seat and finally falls asleep as we pull into the driveway, so I'm going with you lucked out

This is mostly the same for us, at least lately. She used to be better in the car, but has been kind of upset about being in the car seat the past month.

I'm gonna say tbd. LO dis this for awhile and then a few weeks ago it just stopped. She sleeps so poorly in the car seat now. She doesn't cry if you are moving though, but traffic or a red light is like the end of the world. Our drives to Philly at 8 weeks and 14 weeks were very very different
E has slept 9.5, 10.5 hours the last 2 nights. He's 11 weeks old and weighs about 11 lbs and is formula fed. How much should his first feeding be? I feel like I should be giving him more than his standard 4 oz?

Formula here too - I do whatever is normal that they'll eat. LO is almost 4 months and she weighs 10 lbs - 4 oz in the morning, 4- 5 oz bottles throughout the day, and then a 4 oz bottle before bed. She sleeps 10-11 hours at night.
If he still seems hungry start increasing the bottles by 1/2 ounce so you don't waste any. Most babies will stop when they're full or puke up what they don't need.

I do a little bit more in the morning - i can tell she is a bit more hungry in the morning so i do 6oz instead of her normal 5oz (she is 16 weeks.). When she was 11 weeks, she was not doing 10 hours at night ( jealous!) but i think i would probably try offering 5oz instead of 4oz. Edit - i am still doing a dream feed at 11:30 but you ladies are making me think maybe i can drop it!

LO is 15 weeks. He drinks about 5-6oz and he's about 14.5lbs. he takes his last bottle at 730-8 and he'll be up by 5-6am. His morning feeding is the whole 6ozs.

Some babies love the car, hopefully your LO continues to like it. I think my LO gets bored because he can't interact with anyone when he's back their by himself. When H drives i sit in the back seat and usually LO enjoys the ride better

I want to move bedtime to 730, 8 (now 9) but I'm scared hell be up for he day at 5! Does your LO go back down for a nap soon after waking up? 6 will be grrat when I go back to work at the end of August but 5 am is scary to me now.

B is great in the car too. She's quiet/asleep basically the whole time she's in the car. My mom use to say she could get me up in the a.m. from sleeping 10+hrs, put me in the car to go to the babysitter's, and I was out before we were out of the driveway. I also STTN at 6wks old; I liked my sleep lol.
I said during my pg that I hoped B had my sleeping habits. So far so good...she's been STTN since 8wks.
