Last night didn't go as badly as I thought. M is still sleeping, I'm sure he'll be up soon. Fx the extra sleep helped and he'll wake up in a better mood than yesterday.
I just got a Facebook message for a friend talking about maybe coming down Wednesday or this weekend if we would be around. She is in the navy and hasn't met M yet so I'm keeping my fingers crossed that she doesn't flake out on me as she's done so many times in the past.
Hi. I'm here. I've been absent all weekend, thanks to all that tagged checking in.
DS has improved throughout the weekend. He wasn't prescribed any meds, just saline in the nebulizer, cool mist humidifier and Tylenol if needed. But DD ended up getting a nasty cough Saturday and was so nice & shared her germs with me and H. So now I woke up today with horrible sinus pressure, cough, and nasal drip.
I guess it's better to get this all out now before the kids' birthday party this weekend. Silver lining, and all that...
My boss is out today & tomorrow. I really needed that. I'm also taking a PD on Friday to get my nails done and finalize any last minute things for the party, so this should be a pretty good week, minus feeling like death.

Bedtime last night was a shit show. Both kids were overtired and overstimluated. After getting bit 3 times and scratched, I told DH he needed to put down DS2.
I have an unwritten rule if the kids are nuts because they went over to DH's parents' house, he gets to deal with them.

Morning! Not sure what's on the agenda today. I think we'll play at the park today at some point. It's going to be in the high 90's Wednesday-Friday. My moms club is doing story time at the library but ds1 can't sit still for story time. So that's a no go.
So H has still been doing laundry and leaving it for me to fold. I'm not folding any of it unless I started the laundry. Last night I pulled my work clothes out of the laundry bin and left everything else in it.

@betweenthelines, our laundry basket was overfollowing with clean laundry that needed to be folded. I spent a total of 2 hours trying to get the boys to sleep between the 2 of them. I get downstairs and DH is laying down on the couch watching TV. I grab the basket and toss it at his feet then walk away...

Teething can suck it. That about sums up my night.
Heading to the library in a bit, then I'm not sure what we'll do today. I need my eyes to focus properly and DD to take a nice long nap before I can plan anything else...
skinandbones, happy to see I'm not the only one with this problem. I gave up on bringing it to his attention. H hates wrinkled clothes, so when he sees I've completely stopped caring, he'll give in. But at least my clothes won't be wrinkled
@betweenthelines, when it got really bad here, I stopped doing h's laundry. I would only do the kids and mine. And when he did his and left it in the dryer I would take out and dump on his side of the bed to free up dryer and laundry basket.

I would much rather be doing all of this instead of working.
So glad I got to meet up with flippinchica, and 2dumbdogs yesterday. Sorry for the fussy babies though. Still need to send those pics.
I have so much to do this week. My brother and future sil are coming to stay next weekend for B's baptism and he does not do well with clutter of any kind.
My staycation has officially begun! Hit the gym this morning and loaded up bottles and cans to return for some extra cash. Stopped for breakfast at panera before I start returning. Must.relax this week.
Because I was well established in my routines with DS1 when DH came along, I've never done his laundry. Truth be told he does his way more than I do mine, and DS1 does his own as well (DS1 and I have more clothes so long rotation) . Thankfully we don't have that problem here. It sucks though because when I forget things in the dryer I've got no one to blame but me...lol

I feel like a streaker every time I post here now lol. *runs through thread* haha, I'm back, bitches!
Anyway.
Welcome back!!! Don't be a streaker! Feel free to put some clothes on and stay a while! Lol
If I ever get arrested I hope it's because I decided to streak (maybe not 100% nude because who knows who would want to push for sex offender stuff..). Bikini streaking at a sports event? Now added to my bucket list.
I've already cancelled the plans we had today. M woke up with a teething fever still so we're just going to chill and nap at home. He's playing fine now thankfully because he was cranky as fuck when he woke up. Actually I just noticed he's only playing with things he can beat the fuck out of, lol. Better than taking it out on my hair.
DC just messaged me. DS had a temp of 99.6 before his morning nap. FX it doesn't go up, FX it doesn't go up... 101 and I have to leave to pick him up.
This sucks a lot because I work an hour away and the trains only run on the :36, so if it does go up and they don't let me know at the right time, it'll be 2 hours before I even get to him. That'd be a huge waste of a day.

I know, real mature.
Don't make me post a pic of my laundry room! A week of consistently doing laundry but not folding any. No one had clean underwear, there are no towels/linens, dish clothes, hand towels etc where they are supposed to be. It's all clean lying in a mound in the laundry room - if you need something you gotta dig to find it. I might get around to it today but it's so overwhelming at this point.
